This is my uncle and aunts farm! This is where I deer hunt and this is where I grew up, great to see them on the channel!
That's cool.
You inspired me to live my dream. I just quit my job to start raising Kiko's. I am in the process of buying a small farm. Your videos are addicting.
That was so much fun to watch! I am catching up on old videos. It was so interesting to learn about the Keko breed. Love how excited Houston gets about the babies.
When I saw all those goats running, and I'm like "Oh My, look at them all!" I never saw that many goats in one place before. Thanks for sharing!
Yeah they have quite a few.
I just happened upon this video today while searching for something else. Fun to see Houston as a little guy and now I know how he got Skip.
130 baby goats😲😲😲, wow l just love the way they do their things. I am over here in Africa starting out but l hope to be like him someday. Thank you for sharing his story.
That's so cool. You were the first goat farmer I found on UA-cam talking about a variety of things I would have never known otherwise. With that I've learned so much from you and now that I've seen this video it will help me create a diversified stronger pest and disease free breading stock once I'm ready to start a farm of my own. That's awesome you share all the knowledge you've learned as well as resources. Thank you so much.
Our goal is fifty does! We should be there in about two more years. To me it is so awesome to watch these does have their kids and have them up and nursing within fifteen minutes! We love our goats. Like you said they have personally.
Great video man, I love seeing other people's operations. He really had a good one going on there.
Great to finally find a large goat farm video, thanks! Keep up the great vids
That was 2 cute all running past like the kids say hey, very enjoyable thanks
Great video at copperhead farms. Full of great info. Thanks
Houston is a great part of your channel! Thanks and keep it up you do a great job.
Amazing. Ok. It was great seeing Houston having a terrific time. But, I gotta admit I was grinning from ear to ear the entire video. Please thank Mr. Rick for us when you talk to him again for letting us visit him. Gosh, such knowledge he has about goats. $1,000. for a goat! I'd faint. Then again, that stud machine has earned his keep.
Thanks Sharon!
Thank-you so much for the all the great information. Great video 🌼
Love me some Haigood. Mr. Rick H seemed like a quality gentleman.
That is so sweet, your little boy is adorable and he's going to love that little doe :)
Great information on the kiko's...
Houston steals the show, Great video.
Goats are so fun to watch. I can't wait to get out of the city.
They are so cute ! 🐐 🐐. Thanks for videos!
God bless you and your family brother That’s what people should be doing
Oh and that boy Huston? Well he is the best in the whole show. God bless you again
Wow! Taking care of and feeding my six pet goats is a workout sometimes for this middle aged gal! I can't imagine the exhaustion involved in this operation. All those babies!!!
I understand... I'm 64 yrs old and just started a kiko herd of 5 does - 3 of which should be pregnant. I also have 2 wethers who were the experiments to see if I could handle goats . The wethers are not kikos. I'm definitely getting my exercise!
I am impressed by all the goats and Huston is adorable.
Thanks
We are going to be breeding our Borer Nubian cross does to my neighbors Kiko male. To create our own breed of goats here for our homestead. Good video
That should be a great cross.
Thanks for sharing, was really neat getting to see the big heard like that.
I just found this video. 1-29-2021. I would be in goat heaven!!!!
what a great video! now I have the info and phone number when I'm to the point of getting my own goats! thank you... :)
Thank you so for this video. I wish someone had Kiko's in Alaska.
Precious little ones. Beautiful farm Sir
I really enjoyed this video. That’s a big goat herd.
Great video Daniel. Thanks for sharing some light on Kiko’s. Especially one from Mississippi. Now I know of a farm here in Mississippi. Thanks

Hi...... Daniel, thank you for sharing your video homestead chicken farmer garden 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 👕🐔🐓🐥🐕🐩🌱🐐🐄🐠🎥👍👍👍
Ok....that settles it......we're going with Kiko. Thank you so much for this video!
Awesome.
Enjoyed the video on the Kiko goats. Turns out we live about four miles from Egypt Creek farms. They are going to have an auction in April, so I hope to talk Hubby into getting some. Love your videos!
Great video. I started with Boer in north Georgia but transitioned to Kikos for all of the same reasons.
They look so amazing
Such beautiful babies!
Stampede! lol....Adorable. Thanks for the trip to the goat farm. Love all the babies and Houston! :) Did you know the American Kiko Goat Assoc. has posted the 2018 National Convention & Breeders Showcase is in Knoxville TN in June? Wish we had the land to raise them like our grandparents did in Wisconsin. God Bless
No I didn't know that but I'm not a member of the association since we've never really had registered animals.
Amazing. I now know what breed my childhood goat was!
Holy goats...wow. That billy was one busy boy! 😄 Houston's bottle baby is adorable. He has good taste.

Der
He’s one handsome guy..and lucky..if I had a herd I wouldn’t make any money. I would end up keeping them all. Oh I love goats. I’m a Capricorn to. Houston is so adorable. We gave my cousin a black nanny goat. He named her saisy bone..spellings wrong. She was beautiful. Thanks for the education and fun..feel like a kid...ha, again.
Is Rick the goat whisperer then? lol. That little black bottle fed baby is adorable! Inky, blacky, midnight, malficient, lol.
I hope you do more videos like these! There aren’t hardly any videos of quality goat farmers out there and I know a lot of people wanna see that. Thanks for sharing!
Ok, thanks.
Winner of a video, I've been looking for "boer goat weight" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Chloetey Boer Goatify - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my co-worker got great results with it.
Surreal.
Lovely farm my friend. The landscape is similar to my property in outback NSW, Nymagee, Australia.
They look fantastic
Love the video love how skip looks.
Just spoke with Rick, hoping to catch any stray does available but too late. Kind person and generous with his time.
Love those Kiko goats, wish I could find some in my area. If you all were closer I would be on my way over to get some.😬😂
Really working to learn all I can on raising goats because I'm learning towards that direction. I have a 195 acers . And been thinking about a 60 - 80 goat operation. I'm in process of fencing for goats and in sections as I would be using the goats to help maintain the under brush in my tree forest. That's covered in poison oak, ivy, sumac, saw briar, and all kinds of weeds. Which should keep goats pretty fat. I also have hay meadow. Thinking I could raise the goats use them to help keep property clean and sell to meat market every year to pick up a little extra money I thought I wanted the boer got but they seen a bit high maintenance. So have been learning towards the Spanish got. But from all the research I've done seems like the kiko goat is the best bet. I'll continue my education on them I've been watching the market and going to sales. And reading and watching videos plus talking to several people I know that raise goats for the meat market. Real good friend of mine raises a boer/Spanish cross. He said that's the way to go. But I haven't decided yet. Of course his place is in the hill country of Texas which is a dryer environment whereas my farm is in east Texas with an average rainfall of "36 -"48 " inches of rain per year with a lot of plant growth my thinking is if the goats can eat it and help keep it cleaned that's less time of me bush hogging. So I can be doing other things
I love those goats. I would never have Spanish. I had Boers & Kikos. Only had one loss & no bottle babies
Great video. I've been working and around purebreds since I was 9. So very 40 years. If you look at the pedigrees on goats there are referred as does and bucks light rabbits and deer. If you go to a dairy show and say Billy. Most will think your a city person not knowing to much. Just a word for thought. But j did really enjoy the video.
thank you for sharing this video....
I love the revolver in the overall pocket!
photojones1 is a must have tool around the farm bet it’s a .410/.45 cal Judge or nice little lethal guns .
I have never seen a revolver in bib overalls before.
Loving it all!!
Thanks Daniel, now I feel like ive got a kiko honey hole!!!
Excellent video!
love the revolver in the front overall pocket
The first time heard about Kiko goats, love this video.

Thanks for sharing ..
That was Fun!
Hi , love goats, milk is great for us as we're lactose Intolerant, and the meat is the only red meat we can eat but it's difficult to get where we live in England
Excellent sir
What an awesome farm! We have thought about doing some goats and I appreciate you sharing all of your information on raising goats. I will have to check around and see if anyone near to us has Kiko's, because I live in North Carolina! But I think if I do get goats I will certainly look into Kiko's because of how good you say they are. The only goats that we have had thus far has been a little goat named NaNa. She was a miniature goat that we kept as a pet for four years until two old mean coyotes killed her one day in broad daylight at our barn. Unfortunately at that time we had no idea that we had coyotes in North Carolina. Now we know! Thanks again for all of your great information and I really love watching Houston on his adventures. He really loves his animals and especially his baby goats. Super Video!
Thank you! Do some searching online. I bet you can find some closer! I know there are quite a few scattered around Mississippi.
Love the goats
I was there yesterday ordering 26 goats
Great video, I do appreciate the time and effort you took to make it. Great info.
Houston sure loves the baby goats. If I was going to pick out a bottle baby I would have picked out the one Houston got and it's a good thing we are not set up for goats or I would be up there getting some of those cute babies.
In the US 100 years ago we ate lots of goat but now ?
