Let's just hope, and I also hope reviewers will address this, that even after the latest firmware update (end of december 2024) the car still has some software issues... Which compared to a Tesla are not fixed/updated on a monthly basis. The car is getting better for sure but 2 updates in 1 year of ownership ment I had to drive with issues like the passengers seat not heating for longer than a minute up to the latest update. And the latest update now resets the regenerative braking setting to the default "normal" each time you enter the car whilst I (and many) prefer the "high" setting.... forgetting this can be scary since it's the "one pedal driving" mode and you need this behaviour to be as expected on any commute... There are more issues but I won't go into them since some seem to be really "random" among users.
I wish there was a bigger battery. That was my expectation from the 2025 model. However, in 2025 the battery was further reduced and is now 49kWh. You have to pay more to get the old 66kWh battery. With 2024, Zeekr 001, 07, 7x all switched to 800V infrastructure. However, Zeekr X still continues with the old 400V. No development has been made, very bad, shame.
you don't understand geely price policy, to me it is pretty obvious why the zeeker is cheaper than Volvo EX30, Volvo has a reputation and history and sales network, plus marketing etc. you need aggressive price policy to convince potential buyer to invest 40K + in a unknown brand from china, no history and limited network.. would be good to benchmark the other sister from geeky, the smart #3
I think they priced it too high for a new brand however, I say this as they have removed a number of options the Chinese version gets, items like power fold up rear seats, movable center screen and the cooled/heated storage compartment. At $40K+ with those things, it becomes a value. Recently, it was announced in China, the 2025 version will come with a 25% price reduction. I feel that is where it should be priced as a new to markets outside of China, EV. Allowing them room to increase price, add equipment while improving the vehicle standing and growing their customer base. The import duties and tariffs are pushing them close to the premium brand, without any history to draw from.
I think that option works well if the driver has the option to control things via the steering wheel and use the HUD or driver display, when the main screen is in use.

RWD version for the win! In Summer sunshine for two people it could be a great road trip down to southern Europe.
It would have been nice to see the EX30 with this kind of interior, for the price they charge for it. I would take this over the EX30.
DO LYNK AND CO 02 FOR THE NEXT VID

It seems there is no glovebox because there is a mid Woofer in that space.
That makes the pain go away for me that there is no glovebox because man the sound is so freaken good in my car!!

On the Chinese version the main screen slides over to the passenger so they can watch media. Forbidden in Europe.
Which is weird because there are more cars that have a third screen for the passenger.

I'm not sure about the looks of this car. Looks like a big toad.
