that was a grrr8 scene on many levels. capturing the creative & fashion culture of the crazy 80s, slow-mo of that hot chick in the red skirt dancing in the mid-ground (she got the moves too) & that is captivating, this song & the altered sound effect (almost echoed & a touch of reverb) added a touch of hypnotic suspension as tension mounts. T1 also did a fantastic task of making a bot (cyborg) as emotionless & indifferent as a real PC. the stone-faced look on Arnold's face was chilling & realistic. the following T movies gave cyborgs emotions & took the realism away.
Imagine if you and your homies were hanging out in the club after long work week, dancing to this song when suddenly, a heavily-armed Austrian bodybuilder and a homeless dude with a shotgun start going at it over a 90-pound blonde girl.
I'ma keep vouching for this song and continue to play it... But so far at our 80's bar they don't like this song. Not sure why, but it's not going over so well.
One of the best climactic scenes in film history; Sarah Connor looking very isolated and vulnerable sat in the club with everyone completely oblivious as to her predicament; the way Terminator comes in right on cue with the climax of the verse; Sarah Connor catching the glance in the mirror from Kyle Reese; and then the way Kyle spins and pulls out his hidden shotgun when he zeros in on the Terminator. I've seen it so many times, but it still gives me goosebumps.

Reese still would have been able to get a few 12 Gauge pump shots off. While the T-800 model 101 is a bad ass fully armored combat chassis, Reese has intuition, faster neural acuity, and instinct, albeit just barely. T-800 should've been scanning for Reese as well. The T-1000 had much better acuity and neural precessing and still couldn't beat a T-800 that had been trained for just a week by humans. If SkyNet had access to humans to train the assets before they went over, they could have won. Zero human training, starting as just a default HK (Hunter Killer) is great in battle, not in covert hunting in a pre apocalyptic world. Any human hunter would be scanning for Reese as well, but the damn thing was not set to give a damn about concurrent target objectives, because machines sent it over with one objective. The shit just lacks instinct or programmed instinctual tendencies. Even the T-850, (TX) failed for this reason because she was just sent with tech improvements, and no instinctual training.
Did Skynet even know Reese would be there? He was sent back after the war was won by the humans in the future. Skynet's big mistake was not destroying the time machine after the Terminator went through.
This isn't just a song. This is an entity all it's own! The Rythym Guitar really makes this song rock! It's as good as listening to Hard Rock/Heavy Metal of that time period. This animal of a song is one for the ages!
I had to break down and but the original 1984 soundtrack album. Wasn’t cheap 79 dollars. Well worth it. I’ve recorded it onto my computer so now it’s on my phone and everywhere I go.
I just re-watched the original Terminator movie and checked the end credits to look for this amazing song and see if a soundtrack album was ever produced. Sadly, it wasn’t but I came to UA-cam and typed in the bands name and here it is! Awesome soundtrack to an awesome movie!
Imagine this scene (2019) Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) in South America at an outside bar with John (Edward Furlong) now grown up. They’re having a beer, the bar is playing an 80’s night. This song comes on...Sarah looks over at the bar with an expression of sorrow. She looks back out at the beach and then sees Arnie at a long distance walking towards them (say 100m). Her gaze fixated- a tear runs down her face while showing an expression of terror. John asks what’s wrong, turns around and sees the T-800 coming. Out of instinct he runs towards their car that has guns in the boot. Sarah Connor just stares at the oncoming threat.... The scene slows down...the song plays with a slight echo (like the original film) and the camera goes from the T-800 making its way through the crowds, to John running to the car, to Sarah looking on - frozen.

+Nathan Cameron I bet that's why the people who wrote Terminator Genisys decided to ignore it & Terminator Salvation. Well, some people theorize that those 2 movies were ignored & some theorize that the beginning is the pre Cyberdyne destruction future.
Guys. it's not that hard to understand. T-800 is the series (the "brand" of the Terminator, all have the same endoskeleton and technology). 101 is the Model (the different "human" face they can have. All 101 models have the face of Arnold).

Yeahh that's why we live now. because Kyle defended Sarah ))

🙄 Spoiler.
There were more than 1 time machine.
@@RaulDukeKnife you got the same pamphlet I did I'll wager.
This isn't just a song. This is an entity all it's own! The Rythym Guitar really makes this song rock! It's as good as listening to Hard Rock/Heavy Metal of that time period. This animal of a song is one for the ages!
この歌ずっと聴いとける。
まだこのバンド活動してるなら、大ファンになる。
Shame this song isn't on Spotify
I just commented that only to scroll down and see the same thing commented. It's so sad!
I need this on spotify dammit
I had to break down and but the original 1984 soundtrack album. Wasn’t cheap 79 dollars. Well worth it. I’ve recorded it onto my computer so now it’s on my phone and everywhere I go.
It was, but the Terminator killed the guy who put it on Spotify before he could do it.
It’s on sound cloud. There’s hope.
Классная песня!
Even though I grew up watching this movie in the 90s, I’d always thought I was living in the 80s 😅
The song that bring 80s rock into Sci fi into action 😎🤖
Why isn't this song on the sound track! This song is beyond awesome and for 20 years now I have loved it.
i wish i could visit Technoir and pay 4.50
There might be even a payphone to call 911.
its all boarded up now as well as the tiki motel : ( . the noir was a bookstore for awhile but I guess that went bust.
Technoir is a sub genre of sci-fi and film noir.

Потрясающий трек!!!!!!!!!!!
The Original Terminator still one of my favorite movies ever. This song brings you back to the TechNoir scene immediately.
I still love it, feel the chills!
I need to add this to my 80s running Spotify playlist ... I'm 21 btw 😎
I don't know man there's something in this song that makes that moment in the movie so great. It's perfect.
I love this song so much. Even though I was a 90s kid but I absolutely love the the 80s stuff. Most of the songs these days suck.
True!

It's the soundtrack to my single favourite scene in movie history
One of the most underrated songs that ever crossed the screen. It was perfect for the Terminator.
Still gives me chills... By far the most perfect song for an controversial scene ..thank you JAMES CAMRON!!!
Controversial?
Controversial?
ENTRANCE CLERK = "Hey, that guy didn't pay."
BOUNCER = "Arrrrrrrrggggghhhhhhhhh!!!"
Добавлю и я свой просмотр, вспоминая великую сцену из великого фильма.
Ну хоть кто-то на русском оставил коммент.
I just re-watched the original Terminator movie and checked the end credits to look for this amazing song and see if a soundtrack album was ever produced. Sadly, it wasn’t but I came to UA-cam and typed in the bands name and here it is! Awesome soundtrack to an awesome movie!
One of the best 80s songs from one of the greatest movies of all time.
Everyone is the club is doing the Rick-Rollin' dance! (And then there's Terminator and Sarah looking awkward)
LOL
Και σε αυτο το βιντεο Ελληνες.... αχχαχαχααχ
ΝΤΑΝ ΝΤΑΝ ΝΤΑΝ ΝΤΑΝ ΝΤΑΝ
Kyle, Sarah, and the T-800 obviously got Rick-Rolled (and didn't like it)
The first Terminator was dark it had a gritty almost atmospheric feel to it. It was the foundation which T2 was built on.
Love this song and such an amazing scene in a classic movie. Miss the 80’s badly !!!
Imagine this scene (2019)
Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) in South America at an outside bar with John (Edward Furlong) now grown up.
1:34 enter the 1st T-800 Terminator.
+Nathan Cameron +My Name You're both right. It's the T800 series model 101
+Nathan Cameron I bet that's why the people who wrote Terminator Genisys decided to ignore it & Terminator Salvation.
Well, some people theorize that those 2 movies were ignored & some theorize that the beginning is the pre Cyberdyne destruction future.
+Nathan Cameron my man! :)
Guys. it's not that hard to understand. T-800 is the series (the "brand" of the Terminator, all have the same endoskeleton and technology). 101 is the Model (the different "human" face they can have. All 101 models have the face of Arnold).
"...Ven conmigo si quieres vivir..."
Kyle Reese (My hero since i Was eight years old i watched the movie in 1993 for first time) cheers from Perú
Agradecido con mi viejo que me hacia ver terminator y hacerme escuchar musica de los 80s, aunque ahora que tengo 22 me voy mas por los 90's, pero definitivamente los 80's fueron la base de mis gustos musicales
This song gives me a strong urge to duck.
ThisIsFuckingBullshit duck what?
Yeah, like something glass shattering is about to happen
"GET DOWN"
LONG LIVE THE 80s, BEST DECADE FOR MUSIC EVER.

Unforgettable scene in T1. Truly momentous
Man what a song.......what can I say.....this is so great.....played on ful volume on my audio equipment..... Magic....
dude this band sounds beautiful...those old school movies had the best tunes
Записал на кассету. Скоро лето. буду слушать великолепную музыку 80-х , в великолепной тачке 80-х , неспешно прокатываясь по загородный далям, с открытым люком и ветерком 🤟
Holy shit this will always be a great song.
I started to see a pattern!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anything from the 80s is awesome! Music, movies..... me!!! :P
+Sam Eb Just now you realize that ?
Yeah, back when you had no internet, several modern medicines hadn't been invented, when TV quality was shit, when several useful, life saving modern technologies hadn't been created, when you couldn't listen to music whenever, wherever. Great fucking times...
Particular Particle
Well... not everything technology brings is good.. There is always good and bad.
***** I just don't get it when people say "this generation is better than that generation" when pretty much every generation had it's own problems. For example, the 80's had The Cold War. Do we miss that? No.
Bill Paxton should have had a bigger part in Terminator
game over man.. GAME OVER
What? Now your gunna put her in charge ?!?
epic reply
Game over, man! Game over!
What was Bill Paxton contribution... I'm not aware of it....?
Años buscando esta cancion....buena x subirla ....me hace acordar a mi niñez.....thank you
