I grew up in that little town. Hope, B.C. We used to skip school and go watch them film. Met Stallone once, almost walked into him. Nice guy. They were all in town for a year and a half.
My Father served in Vietnam 1969-70 The stories he could tell you about the bamboo pungi traps alone would make anyone think twice about going to war back then. his PTSD was really bad.
If you’re referring to him being arrested at the end, let’s see, there’s escaping police custody, several counts of assault on a police officer, 2 counts of grand theft auto, several counts of assault with a deadly weapon, and several counts of destruction of public and private property.
@@user-EricWatson55 In the beginning, he was innocent. But you brought up people that were killled. He hadn’t killled anyone in the beginning, except when he was in the war. So, why bring it up if you were referring to his initial arrest?
@ user-EricWatson55 I agree. Being called out to clarify a confusing point is irritating, and it’s a lot easier to just tell the other person to go away instead of just simply clearing up their confusion. Have a nice day.
You take a whole of teen generation, you send them to the war to fight and die, and if they don't die you let them to their luck, not caring about them: USA's government in Vietnam War. Demented, mentally ill, deeply disturbed, turned into criminals or locked in mental hospitals for years. Vietnam was not a war: it was horror. But nothing compared to a government who send people to fight and die without remorse only for money. Because for USA, war means money. End.
This is Stallone hunting the dudes who want to date his daughters. I can just see him jumping out the bushes of his house, covered in ferns, after one of the guys steals a kiss.

Ga Lee!!!! Rambo should go after the majority of these reactors who keep talking way too much and not paying attention to the movie. They need to start a podcast, not a reaction video. Sheesh. “Just Summ Reactions” entire reaction to this major classic was the best.
(*raises eyebrow) It's right there...in the name: "REACTORS". They don't get paid to sit and silently watch. If you want an uninterrupted viewing, then don't watch reactions.
The biggest plot hole in this movie is that this cop probably made 20k a year back then and should have been like “eff this I’m going home” How much can one man hate their family?
It makes more sense in the novel. Stallion used his star power to force rewrites to make Rambo a more likable character. In the book, Rambo amasses a pretty high body count, several them coming from the sheriffs own force.
Okay, my man on the 'Just trust Ash' channel has got to stop talking. His lady is about to cut him for real! She is going to draw First Blood! Ha! It went from reacting to how skilled Rambo is to "who the hell is Julie!?" real quick.
Well I'm disappointed that 'Verdy Channel' isn't featured. She's just starting out, with 17,000 views on her First Blood reaction so far, and I'm sure she'd appreciate a reference or two in a compilation some day. I mean is there a minimum view count before you'll consider featuring a reactor? You always seem to rotate around the same reactors when you could expand your viewing a little and help out reactors who might need exposure instead of helping those who don't.
So, this Medal of Honor winning special forces dude is hunting you one by one in the forest, like a bad horror movie. So the boss cop says, “Spread out…” HAVE YOU NEVER SEEN A HORROR MOVIE? Never split the party, man. Rookie mistake.
In the book, he wipes them all out. No sparing of life...at all!

@FrancisXLord so in the book he kills all the cops but in the movie he just injures them and scares the sheriff
"We're not hunting him, he's hunting us!"

They got lucky. In the novel, Rambo racks up a big body count.
Rambo: Let it go!
...
Morgan Freeman: He did, in fact, not let it go.

Rambo was falsely arrested. He didn't kill anyone on purpose.

But, thank you so much for arguing the point. That was so necessary. 🙄

In the novel he did get something to eat. He was given a burger that was all gristle and other rejected bits.

Damn Ash stopping digging that hole. That sequence was crazy but fun from afar. Good luck after that with Julia. 😮
The name "Julie" will now come up during every argument. Count on it.
The "Hold" scene in Braveheart when the cavalry charge would be a good reaction to do.
