There is a mistake in min.3:24 "Electrons flow from the anode to the cathode thru the electrolyte" Should be " thru metallic path"

Why do the electrons swim? ;-) And why don't they take the path through the wire?

Hi, nice video. I have a question for you. Is it possible to observe release of hydrogen bubbles even slightly during corrosion of steel in salt water, or this requires to add a small amount of acid (for example Hydrogen Cloride) to lower the pH ??

Great video! If we make the analogy with a salt mist test what are the aode, cathode, mettalic path and electrolyte ?

one question: the electrons will flow through electrolyte or metallic path? or both?

In an electrochemical cell, the higher positive potential is the cathode, therefore the conventional current direction is from the cathode (+) to the anode (-) through the metallic path and from the anode to the cathode in the electrolyte.

He does not understand it. Electrons flow through metallic path from the anode to the cathode. Electrons cannot move through a liquid, only ions can.
