I love that the Pinto has slapper bars on it like a drag racer! 😅
Update to my comment: I never thought that I would see a Pinto in the same shop as a McLaren. I mean that thought had never crossed my mind in the for place, but had I, I wouldn't have. . . Or something like that.

Ohhhh yeah, I'm a 3rd grader with a wife and 4 kids. That's why I'm learning to mod my go-kart. Next, I'm installing nitrous and a super charger.

We can expand on this concept by giving it a layer of rubber on the outside. I doubt it'd help with the breakage issues, but it'd make for a smoother ride

The idea works but one thing I would have done is cut the tread off of a tire remove the sidewalls and some how secure the tread part of the tire onto the outer edge of the wood wheel so its what makes contact with the road. Make the wheel thicker probably about as thick as the rubber is wide you'd need longer studs though in the axle.

I want you to try this test again, but this next time line the wheels with some tired rubber for traction. Just use a nail stapler to affix it.

Not really, but that does kind of sound cool regarding a 4X2 car.
