How well does the Ninja Professional blend?

3 speeds only: is that a problem?
It only offers three blending speeds, as opposed to ten. From my testing with this device, that actually didn't limit this blender's versatility because the stacked blade assembly provided some muscle to the motor's three speeds. Having three settings makes the Ninja Professional Blender 1000 a bit more straightforward to use.
Consider the 'low' setting as the budget food processor setting; it can be used to do basic food processing or mixing of ingredients. The 'High' setting is what you'll need to use for liquefying and pureeing ingredients, which works amazing for just about any smoothie recipe.
This blender also has a 'Pulse' button which you can use to max out the blender's power and chop down tough ingredients before you use the High speed to blend the mixtures. For crushing ice, or preparing soups and dips, the 'Medium' setting is the one you'll need to use.
Regardless of the speed that I chose, the Ninja Professional Blender 1000 handled large amounts of ingredients quite well, because all the blades contributed to finely chopping and blending the ingredients.
Several other budget blenders only have bottom blades, which means you need to pulse them more often to blend the bottom ingredients and then wait for the top ingredients to drop down.
Safety Features
Ninja has designed this blender to not function if the lid isn't snapped in place. Whenever you remove the lid, the power indicator will flash, giving a clear sign to take action. If you're having difficulty getting your blender to turn on, the lid is likely not locked fully in place.
Overall review: Ninja Professional 1000
With a well-rounded package and most of the parts being replaceable, the Ninja Professional Blender 1000 is a solid budget-friendly yet a professional option. The only real compromises you'll get are the limited speed options and the plastic pitcher/lid. Calling this a 'Prosumer' blender would be more accurate because it still has a large capacity and the blade array really contributes to amazing blending power.
Overall, I was surprised at how powerful the blender was and how well the stacked blade array obliterated chunks of frozen fruit and even leafy greens too. I definitely recommend the Ninja Professional Blender 1000 to you. It sells for around $140CAD/$99USD and you can get it from Amazon.

I work in a juice bar and we use vitamix blenders everyday. They get stuck ALL THE TIME. I can do the same things with this ninja blender at home and the blades help so much when making smoothies. Trust me you don’t need to drop hundreds of dollars on a blender that still requires finesse to efficiently make a thick smoothie

Very loud. You can wake up the neighborhood. The sound you hear on the video is nothing to really how loud this blender is. I have to take it out on my sunroom on the other side of the house not to wake up the kids.
