Unfortuantly dogs can and have turned on their owners and have killed / hurt kids. Especially if dogs aren’t treated well, its common. @kennedi You are correct to feel that way. It is irresponsible and foolish for that father to have left that sweet angel alone with ANY breed of dog. Wow.

Dogs can go from cute and innocent to vicious very quickly. People that are actually in the situation that are smart think of the possibilities along with the realities.
FloridaPilot It was good to avoid the dog, but he was focusing his attention on the dog rather than the kid at one point and that's the issue if the dog was going to harm him it would have by then
@@user-hu2ds1ui8o Not necessarily. Dog's like distance and usaully in the case of strangers in a home will keep distance until felt need to attack out of protection to the home or people inside. In this case there was a big possability that the dog would have attacked because maybe the dog felt like the girl was in danger. So, it's only common sense to keep your attention on the possible threat as you continue to try and navigate a safe way out of the situation. Also, it is possible to multitask which means the cop could be communicating to his partner about the possible threat as good partners do while still focusing on the child. The dumb thing to do would be to assume that the dog will do nothing because it looks cute and rush into the situation thus making things go bad quickly and someone might get hurt.
Thats how it looks but what if he bite you

Pitbulls can never be trusted do their attacking instinct and they are known for that. Pitbulls can be sweet and all that but they are not with anyone who are not their owners and their has been cases where they have snapped against their owners and killed babies when they are right beside them. I’m not going to lie, I’ll give credit to that pitbulls for acting like he was protecting the girl against the cops since they are strangers. In my preference I wouldn’t like to be around a pitbull since I once got chased by one in my street when I was younger and I have witnessed multiple attacks of pitbulls against people and other dogs. You probably won’t believe pitbulls tend to be more ferocious than other breeds. Once a pitbull gets a hold of you, it won’t let go since it has the mindset to kill when attacking.
@@gee713_ No no no no. What you're saying is so wrong. Any dog that gets mistreated is going to attack. More people have been killed and hurt by German shepards (not police dogs) than any other breed. Your facts are wrong.

The dog could look nice but once they step inside it could be a different story because now they're in the dog's territory
Selah’s Life I’m going to repeat myself because you for some reason didn’t understand my first comment. The policemen most likely have had instances of pitbulls being vicious in the past, because many of them are trained to be vicious dogs. Chihuahuas are tiny. Pitbulls are not.

Dog: furiously wags tail with a happy expression on its face
Cop: *_It looked vicious, luckily it didn't rush us or anything_*
herpa derp
“Policeee” 😂😂😂 the soft voices cracked me up that was so cute. And dude the way the dog was standing ready to attack cracked me up too 😂 that’s my dog asfuck
Omg how they all said “police” so softly because the babies in there. So cute !
That dog could have been very VERY vicious.... if he thought you were going to hurt the girl!!!
"it looked vicious" wagging its tail. People need to educate themselves about pitbulls.
Only dog I've ever been bitten by.
@@zachbeckner7817 SMH
Tell that to the adults and children bitten by them - when the owner keeps saying "He a good dawg - never done bitten no one before"!
@@lesreed9269 "them" as in dogs or pitbulls?
Lol SMH? I’ve literally been bitten by a pit bull lmao, not by any other breed?
Dog: wags tails and sits down. But he's a pitbull
Police: he looks vicious
Me: triggered
I know I don't like cops
@@kaitlynwinslow3940 why?
@@dandegodlyfox1145 besides the obvious?
Pit bulls shouldn’t exist.
@@taquitobandito6054 that so mean
The way they knocked on the door "policeeee uwu"
Cop about the dog: "It looked vicious."
Dog was calm, obedient, once the dog knew they (the cops) weren't there to harm the little girl, it started wagging its tail and sat in a calm manner and was even had a relaxed body. Not to mention that dog did not bark once, as well was a very healthy looking pupper. 10/10 would pet and give treats to the doggo.
That same cop takes out a lion: YEP HES A CAT PERSON MAKES SENSE!
THAT WAS LITERALLY THE SWEETEST PITTBULL IN ALL OF CALIFORNIA AND HE THOUGHT IT LOOKED VICIOUS.
What do you think that dog was thinking?
*"Oh, wassup bro, welcome to my crib....wait, why you backing up?"*
“That dog looked vicious.”
Lmaooo that thing looked so curious and if anything confused. Not at all vicious.
“Looked vicious” dog was literally just chilling
That dog was literally wagging his tail "looks vicious" lmao ok 😂
The girl looked almost as vicious as the dog.
3:03 Officer Adams please propose to the female officer. That just looks like a wonderful police family
lol I was looking for a comment like this
Actually such a well behaved dog. Staying at the top of the steps even as strangers took his/her little human.
Dog: *is a pitbull*
Officer: “looks vicious”
The dog literally just wagged it’s tail and sat at the top of the stairs and didn’t even bark. Please don’t judge dogs based on their breeds, a literal mouse could be vicious but you’ll just think it’s small and harmless
A dog's slow wag of a tail is actually not a sign offriendliness. It sitting at the top of the stairs is more of a sign of dominance. A quiet dog is as bad as a loud one, indicating annoyance or confusion. Trust me, if the dog wanted to play, it'd be down the stairs to greet them
Ayden Fisher that is not a slow wag of a tail its pretty quick also if the dog came downstairs they would of shot it cause they cant understand that a dog is curious
Why is everyone so concerned about the stupid dog? Someone left a toddler home alone.
@@TheSecondOne123 Just as you are so desperate to defend dogs that kill and maim people and children everyday unprovoked. I'm sure you will deny that fact too. It's always, my dog had never shown any aggressiveness to anyone. I don't know why he just suddenly attacked that child. So unlike him.
Ayden Fisher
If the dog ran down the stairs to play with them, they would’ve shot it like every other dead dog that just wanted to play.
The dog sat curiously and protective of its owner/child.
That pit is a gud gurl
"that dog looked viscous" *dog sitting there with smile wagging tail*
3:02 "Ohh you got a lion!"
"Yeah he's pretty sus" lmfao
*Sees a happy pit bull*
Cops: “Wow he looks vicious”
"It looked viscous" it just stood there and wagged its tail. Lol
