The car’s running, and it’s time to leave this chapter behind.
After six months stuck in a place I didn’t love-far from the ocean and surrounded by dust-I hit a wall. I was supposed to be living the dream, but instead, I was drowning in paperwork and stress. So, I did something wild… I stopped. I let myself just be for a while, soaking in the beauty of Byron Bay.
But the road wasn’t done with me yet. NEILA (@nastyneila on Instagram), my trusty Toyota 4x4 Troop Carrier, was packed and ready. I remembered the real adventure had been waiting all along. No more false starts, no more hesitation-just me, NEILA, and the open road ahead.
No idea where it’ll take us, but I’m so ready to find out.

Sorelle happiness is within. Trips and travel adventures are great and should be pursued and give temporary relief. Happiness is within. But the enemy tries to convince you that it is in the next adventure.

Your lucky it only took you 6months, it took me 3yers to do my build finally got on the road mid June, but so worth the wait now I’m finally out there, you’re gonna love it it, be prepared to be amazed there’s so many hidden gems around its unbelievable 😊😊.safe travels

The only issue with Australian and USA overlanders is that their countries are 1st world locales--if things go south Rescue will send in a helicopter. True, high adventure, will always be in other places.

I always liked that book The wind in The Willows, lots of adventure and perils and the memories to keep, and at the end realizing that their home was where they were happiest most , I support your journey, especially since you have such a cool rig, you’re a sweetheart sorelle, I’m sure you’ll find lots of memories out there!
all you need is one point on a map and the curiosity to go and have a look... enjoy the journey, there is no destination... we arrive to a better place within ourselves...
I am glad you changed Neila's pronunciation.. a much stronger sounding name. i kept thinking "kneeler", with all the weird submissive connotations that go with that word..
While it takes time and pain to get through the "Dark night of the Sould" to end, when you finally get through it and look back, you appreciate it SO MUCH, because you learn about yourself heaps and fall in love with yourself...
So exciting that you are finally on your way! Enjoy the journey. By the way, I thought I was going mad when you pronounced her "Nila". I was thinking "I could have sworn it was pronounced "Neela".

Nila? Hmm. To me it does look like Neela but Neila, is beautiful and naming a vehicle is kinda an odd practice so go with whatever comes natural.

I just don't see any sustainable net value added for the people when more and more people do social media, it's like cancer for a well functioning society. Or how would you describe your impact on people. Without selling a lifestyle and producing content that usually keeps people away from pursuing their goals. You got rich buy selling fiance tips to people and a lifestyle, not by working a normal job and implementing your own tips. That whole influencer bubble and how their/your business model works is frankly just major BS and sells people falls illusions. You're lifestyle is financed by their despair and longing for an escape from their lifes. Which in my opinion doesn't provide real value to the world. It's bizarre.
