In this video, I’m sharing the real reason why I’m moving into my fully built 4x4 Troopy, NEILA, and embracing the 4x4 lifestyle at 35.
As I prepare to travel around Australia full-time in my Toyota Land Cruiser Troopy, I’ll share my journey of downsizing, simplifying, and reconnecting with what matters most. NEILA, my overlanding home on wheels, has been a never-ending project that’s tested my patience, but it’s all part of my quest for personal freedom and adventure.

How strange. A man named Wolf just shattered my heart because he needs to be alone. And this is the first comment I stumbled upon as I open this app since it’s 5am and well…can’t sleep anyway, might as well distract myself.
No matter where or how far you go, there you are.
Safety tip for female nomads. Go to a used clothing store or yard sale etc. buy a pair of the largest men’s boots you can find. Put them beside your camp, with a hat, jacket or men’s shirt etc. giving appearance that there’s a man with you. It will take up valuable space in camper but only while you are moving, because once you park, you put clothes in plain sight out of vehicle

Average hotel price right now downtown Toronto is 600-800$ a night. I feel like all the Americans, Canadians, UK's and Australians are all going to start nomading very soon...

Just bought my first apartment, paid off upfront (got in the market at the right time). To me, it's one gigantic step towards financial freedom, a term I learned from you. I have so much to thank you for. I came here years ago to learn how to take a decent picture of myself. Since then I've travelled for two years and bought a home, even got myself a second passport (as you recommended); all things I'd never believed I could do. And yet here I am. I feel like I made it, and I have so much more waiting for me to accomplish. I'm not much of a nomad myself, I've decided that travelling for a few months a year is more up my alley. I like the idea of coming back home

Be ok for a few months a year, when the travel bug bites. I would miss my local bush and beaches watching and feeling the change of seasons, the rhythm of life.
I'm 43... doing the same basically.. I already lived the other life (school, job, child) - there's nothing wrong with wanting to live with less and have more adventures. A lot of people just can't understand this haha 😅 Keep doing what you're doing!
I’m waiting for a book from you. 😂I am so curious about what you want through and your journey. I have been following you since 2019 and your manifestation video back then changed my whole life and i ended up in Egypt doing my dream life’s work and hosting dolphin retreats. All because I decided to follow your advice and create a manifestation book. And I have been following you sporadically from time to time (don’t have so much time to be on social media) and suddenly you change up your whole life and I also understand you went through something really hard. I am happy to see that you are shining and living still according to your soul. And i hope one day you give out a book about it all. ❤

I just believe it may be quite unfufilling travelling alone after a month or so.. it's many kms on your own and no one to talk back about experience with- which everyone knows that is the best part of travel- memories. I plan to do this in a caravan, showing my kids the country and teaching them about life /skills on the way... Hopefully it works out for the best!
This was so beautiful to see, congratulations! Life is so strange and difficult sometimes. Seeing any human in joy or happiness is such a great sight to see.
Just a tip -- glass jars in your pantry, put heavy socks or thick towels around/between them and fit snugly --- otherwise they *will* break before long, especially going off-road!

One of my favourite videos so far being with you in your journey for few years now. It’s favourite coz it’s very relatable and totally in sync with my life at the moment. It’s also something I wanna do in my life (little scared though)
I’m 37, single and lost both my parents. I have done my fare share of taking responsibilities as a child who was raised by a single parent, done 9 to 5 jobs, tried my luck in business, bought best of fashionable clothing, makeup to fit in and lots more. Coz of my hustling nature and being a workaholic I am suffering physically now and undergoing few treatments. So, right now all I wanna do is retire and see the world, learn new skills and be free.
Thanks to my early investments and loads of luck I can afford to be a free human.
Only issue… I’m being my biggest critic and scared to get out of my comfort zone at this age. I’m trying my best every day

Honestly, I think it's a faze in one's life that eventually tends to move on to another adventure, may be uplifting or degrading based on finances. But probably each person is different 🙂
One thing that you won't ever be able to have is a lovely big veggie garden, fruit tree orchard, and chicken coop for beautiful fresh eggs. Happy travels. Green love from Queensland 💚🌲🌊🙏

But when I do It always feels great to get back to my little farm and away from all the crazy drivers on the roads nowadays. I'm about two and a half hours away from the coast, and I can't wait to get back in the water for a paddle. And the truth be known, I'd love to be cruising around our beautiful country checking out all the beaches on the way. I look forward to following on your adventures. 💚🌊🙏
Make sure you camp at crows nest national park near Toowoomba, it’s stunning, it’s a beach in a bush. you will love it and super quite too.

You can also buy a home and rent it out if you desire to uproot - just make sure it’s at a good location. I am a proud double home owner & I fully believe that we have the right to own our homes and grow our personal wealth. The issues that we’re currently having are due to corrupt financial and political systems, and I don’t believe that the solution is to give up on our rights. This will basically result in corporations owning all real estate worldwide instead of humans. Like are we kidding there?

Hi Sorelle, glad to see you are happy. I suspect that being away from humankind and all the hassle that the human civilization creates may contribute to your happiness, among other things.
Pro human freedom, yet supports electric vehicles that will be shut down on you if you break some rule, go out of your zone, or trap you inside if late payment. Also track every little data fact about your driving ect. Connected wirelessly. Increasing insurances. Obviously not now, but they will beable to do that in one update eventually.
Great video it’s so funny I became a home owner at 22 and two years later with the inflation it’s like barely getting by I was literally better off just rating I would’ve saved more

We started our life on the road mainly because the qld govt decided they wanted to drop a primary school right where we built our house six years prior. We've now been in our coaster for over two years, and despite some expensive failures we wouldnt change a thing. We srent wealthy, so we work our way round the country, and at the most we would want to buy a cheap country block somewhere just as an escspe hole incase something like the pandemic was to happen again..
The security of home ownership means nothing once you go through how easily it can get taken away.

you dont have proportion yet, slowly.... also you can have a small maintenance home it a beautiful place you love and do van life at the same time- well tyour in the same country. you dont have to define yourself all the time by the location your in its only a house and a van . land lords can be more annoying sometimes than fixing your own home... you through money on the problem people can do it for you just like with the gip. minimalism astatic looks great- those long trip gips can get really messy so this is a good surface to go back too...
Sorelle you need ro reach out to Max (YT channel "Max & Occy") up in the rainforest in QLD where he has a 5 acre property which he is creating a place for tiny homes for like-minded Aussie nomad overlanders so they also have a base. Y/tubers "Kendell & Glen" who are also overlanders travelling Aus the past 5yrs are building their dream tinyhome on the property which will be their base as they continue to travel in their overlander landrover. This sounds like the perfect opportunity for you to have a base with like-minded people whilst you continue to travel Aus

Maaaaaybe one day! For now, it’s way too hard and bringing NEILA back into Australia would be an enormous hassle.

Sad and probably true for some people. Sorelle is a millionaire. It would take a lot more for her to be homeless. She has several properties and could choose to live in one if she wants 🤷♀️. If I had that safety net I'd be experimenting with my lifestyle too 😎. But, I like where I'm at. Maybe when I retire from my job (that I love!) I'll become a nomad.
Unfortunately , that lifestyle tends to age a person prematurely . Knew a guy that was 24 , did that for a few years , his face looked like he 35 going on 40 . Just sayin .
