Until recently, I just thought that Todd was just an amazing guy, that always liked to help the team. He doesn't carry himself like an international world class assassin. That says A LOT.

I have had the opportunity to work and train with Todd. He truly is a humble, quiet professional. His most recent book; Protection For and From Humanity is a great read for seasoned professional to the stay at home mom.

I consider myself lucky to have been able to train with Todd. Great teacher and very knowledgeable. His book is great. No matter your level of expertise you can learn a lot about making yourself and family a hard target in your everyday life. Thanks to ChewJitsu guys for having him on. Love the podcast!

I have trained with Todd over the years and I consider him one of the best, if not the best, instructors I have ever trained with throughout my career!
Todd is always "on" and one of the most well versed in what is going on in the world and how to deal with evolving threats.
If I was to hire a person to protect my family, Todd would be my first choice!

I remember the very day Todd started Jiu Jitsu. Since them, Since then, I have had the chance to learn a lot about Todd on many levels. The great thing is that Todd never stops studying, so if you listen to him over and over, you never stop learning. Great interview.

In my opinion, Todd Fox is one of the leading authorities in the protection space. On top of that he’s an incredibly talented BJJ player and coach. He’s deeply and broadly experienced and traveled yet he doesn’t carry himself as a know-it-all, despite legitimately knowing most, if not all, of it! He’s a great human being, a tremendous friend, and one helluva smasher of Thai pads! Great choice having him on!

Great interview. Watching Todd and some of Rodrigo's other fighters back in the 90s were some of my favorite fights. Across the river. I don't think NHB was legal in MO at the time. First time I saw Todd fight, he won with a very tight arm bar, first round I believe.

Not to sound too cliche, but Todd is the real deal. He's what I consider a true martial artist that has been able to transcend his skill set from the gym to the harsh realities of this world. When you meet him and train with him, you can instantly see why millionaire celebrities hire him for protection.

I’ve been in law enforcement since 1986. Todd is legit. If you are interested in leaning and applying real world Police defensive tactics- Take time to read his book and listen to as many of his interviews as practicable. If you ever have the opportunity to train with Todd- drop what you are doing and take advantage. I’ve trained with him on multiple occasions and am better for it.
