    Yes I'm a retired NYPD officer and have a BB in Aiki Jujutsu , Aikido and purple belt in BJJ and training for over 25 yrs has helped me out of a lot of dangerous situations not only for me but for the perp also I was able to take control quick with minimal injury to all concerned

    Dude, I'm a bouncer, and I can say that bjj/grappling Helps me a lot when I can't de-escalate a situation.
    I would never think of being a cop, bouncer, anything without starting training martial arts. Even for highly stressful situation when trying de-escalation it puts your mind on the right place.
    Awesome video.

      It’s not a real black belt, invest in more Kevlar or quit before you hurt yourself.
      Cops are absolute CHUDS. Any BB awarded in under 10 years is absolutely useless. Great to know you pussies get them from McDojos. Certainly explains how quickly me and my boy racked up over $7000 in restitution by whooping piggyass ‘till 12 more of you pussies showed up with guns.

    Great message, very much needed.
    Is it possible that law enforcement can use their training expenses as a tax write off? If so, that’s even more of an insensitive.

No intent to impress anyone, no ego tripping, no egocentric, toxic selfishness and self-indulgence. These are the rare specimens among us, the hidden human treasure and I wish I were in such a fine company even for a moment...Thank you for sharing your experience, your knowledge and expertise with us and guiding us through this insane maze of what life has become. i wonder if America continues towards social decay and anarchy, will there be a futuristic dystopia where the authoritarian trained class rule the untrained like a type of budo mad max thunder road

    • @mcjon77
      @mcjon77 Рік тому

      Not likely, mainly because the training is so freely available to all citizens. This does not just include BJJ and other martial arts, which private citizens can obviously participate in. This includes virtually ALL weapons and tactics training available to law enforcement.
      As a private citizen I have taken MULTIPLE defensive pistol, rifle, and shotgun courses. All but one were taught by current or former law enforcement and modeled after the exact same courses police take. In some cases, I took the course along side law enforcement, who were taking the class as part of their department required training.
      Couple this readily available training, with the second amendment and the amazingly low cost of quaity firearms in the US and the private citizen has the ability to defend their freedoms far more than in any other country of the world. At this point, if you are not armed and trained in the US (unless you are a felon or prohibited possessor) it is because you choose not to be.

    Law Enforcement needs to revamp their image. 1st and most importantly uphold the Constitution. My interactions have been positive because Im respectful and it goes both ways. What's troublesome to me is Police not respecting the 2ND Amendment rights of Law Abiding Citizens. This is were they lose their Credibility. Law Enforcement needs 2ND Amendment Brother's and Sisters.
