I like the idea that this one takes place in the city where we know there's a lot of noise.

When Sam, followed by Eric, used the noise of the thunder to enable the RELEASE of their screams... their hurt... their frustrations .. their FEARS.....

I'm going to see it tomorrow......I've watched all the Quiet Place movies and they are all good.
It was a very well executed film.
I saw it yesterday and it was an emotional roller-coaster, in the best of ways.

Some do it regularly while others do not and this one didn’t... hence being an acceptable "service" animal. ;)
There are actually cats that behave this way. I've encountered a few. Their owners like to say that they "behave like dogs."
This is my one of my favorite movie franchises. I'll definitely watch.

It was CLEARLY NOT about "just wanting pizza" but actually - the Memories of her father who she'd mentioned used to take her there.
In fact, It was their spot.
This was further emphasized at the very end when she went BACK after she'd gotten Eric safely to the boat. She's seated in the burned pizzeria holding a photo of she and her dad, when she was a little girl, in that very restaurant.
Her relationship with her father was obviously very special to her and she must've wanted to honor &/or feel Connected the beauty of that relationship before her passing.
This isn't a difficult concept to grasp, people. ;)

Ok I saw the movie. At first it was really exciting , but it slowly turned into something I didn’t get . Like the black character turn into some save the ✋🏻 man Like they were main characters then boom I get helping each other but it was to much . They became side characters. Also that damn cat , when the cat came out of the water after they almost got killed by the demon. Like cat how did you survive that. Also this cat became unserious when home buy almost died trying to rescue the damn cat . Sir you be having panic attacks. . I have not watched any other Quiet place movie , so am assuming the goal was to make it melancholy, not really surviving . Other then that loved it , love it .
Halloween Horror Night is doing a maze for this.
I actually think it's unrealistic for the characters to know what the aliens are. In the first movie, the dad had printouts or newspaper clippings about the aliens. How were these created and disseminated without noise? I hadn't given it much thought until now, but governments around the world would probably be in their impenetrable bunkers trying to figure the aliens out (in order to know how to defeat them) and hopefully communicating with one another.
The creatures are referred to as Death Angels by John Krasinski, the director of the first movie. According to what I've read, their home planet exploded, and they traveled through space on asteroids.
Why swap the nurse for the law student when the nurse and Lupita's character already had history. The law student really didnt bring anything unique to the film.
To make it more suspenseful I guess. To show that the protagonists can d!e at any point.
There’s allot of things you can’t do that humans do that make noise 1. Don’t catch a cold and cough! 2. Don’t fart loudly better cover your anus! Number three, don’t fall asleep be a snorer then you’ll probably survive
this one was different...one person couldve survived by moving away from that generator that came on by moving far away from it until the alien destroyed it.problem solved
They don't know where the aliens are. They don't want them rushing inside the building to look for the noise.

Taurean, man, im not into horror flix, and I did see the first two movies. But you mean to tell me this is the third installment n they're just showing the creatures!? 🤔
@@jamesdenny4734 No, that's not what he meant (the creatures were shown in all of the 3 films)/in this one, the creatues are presented in better - from a visual standpoint (gor the audiences viewing the film).

Pros and Cons of A Quiet Place day one.
Pros: The designs of the alien creatures
Camera shots and jumpscares
The set location of the film
The sound quality of the people & creatures running made the overall atmosphere felt so essential and ambitious.
Cons
How quickly Samira and Eric figured out the noise was gonna trigger the death of the creatures.
The overall ending of what happens to one of the lead characters felt so hallow and dry.
Overall Quiet place day one is nowhere near the first two installments is something different!
She wasn't going to survive cancer in the first place, so she was going to agonize for a few more days and d!e. She decided to go out quickly

Haven’t seen this particular movie yet. I’ll wait until it’s available for streaming. However, based on your review here’s my theory. These things are aliens. They are the advanced party of a species whose purpose is to wipe out the apex beings of a planet so that the higher alien beings of this species can invade with little to no resistance. This higher species can then ravage the earth for its resources and blah, blah, blah we know the rest of the story because we’ve seen this before a hundred times or more. Remember you heard it from me first, the next movie will be in the future and the final invasion will be on the horizon . What would make this planned movie different is if humanity loses, and these things take over and humans go extinct in a karma for colonizers plot twist. The aliens will setup museums displaying and celebrating their victory and conquest of the human species and the movie will show this as a cautionary tell. The “anti-woke” crowd will go ballistic and we the B1 will get a big laugh at their fragility.

Just like that movie Signs once again we have aliens who did not do proper reconnaissance. They fear water but yet they invade a planet where 70% of its surface is covered by water.
Aren't the aliens in this movie blind??? ...
@deejay5102 Well, if they have the technology for Interstellar space travel, I would think somehow they would be able to do their homework on a planet they plan to invade.

@MarcoBrolo no they didn't, but evidently, they traveled through a long distance of space to get here. I served in the military before you go and invade somewhere you better do your reconnaissance.

I don't think the aliens themselves have an advanced civilization. If they did, they could easily just wipe try to wipe out civilization on Earth via orbital bombardment or just abduct a few people and study our genome to create a multitude of bioweapons to use against us.
I think it is possible they are just bio-thralls created by a different advanced race to probe Earth's defenses.

If that Lu girl is in any movie and around any White man, get ready for some “magical nergo” moments or get ready for some swirling or both.
I didn't like that trope at the end either , but the character wanted to pass on their terms
