I clicked this thinking it was Everything GREAT About A Quiet Place (Part II) because i didn't realize there was a sequel out, so I was still confused regardless
See, I loved this film even if people didn't like the "Action-ish" approach to it. It's still an amazing series and I feel like the movie shows us why it is. Sure it's louder, but it makes sense. The family found out the secret to killing them, and they wanna venture out to spread their knowledge. In doing so they've possibly saved what's left of humanity (or, the humanity that is good n stuff). I can't wait for the third movie since I haven't seen it yet but I really am excited as hell for it. :)
The third one will be directed by a music video director, who will get very little freedom from the studio, will have his film chopped up, and will be branded a director who failed to make the transition to features and won’t ever amount to anything. …if the Alien franchise parallel is to continue.
I like watching reviews like these for movies I won't watch anyways (I am not a horror person), because it gives me a positive base-look of it all. Makes the world seem not as bleak, and teaches the idea of trying to find something good in everything. :)
It always makes me so sad how much people felt compelled to "CinemaSins" these movies. Most of the so called "plot holes" were just little details that went unexplained because the movie was about the people, not the premise, and you can find some sort of explanation relatively easily if you think about it for a few minutes. And even if there are genuine contradictions... Kind of who cares? Do you not try to aim for some suspension of disbelief when you watch a sci-fi movie so you can enjoy this beautifully crafted story about familial relationships and how far we would go for the ones we love? If you can only enjoy a hyperrealistic movie 100% explained through exposition, whatever, power to you, but why spoil it for the rest of us?
I love 6:56 because I’m hard of hearing and even with my hearing aids on I still have some trouble, and whenever I tell people I’m HOH and need them to repeat what they say they always think they need to be louder when 9 times out of 10 they just need to enunciate
As someone who walks around barefoot for around 90% of my life these past 2 years: Yeah, you wouldn't have bloody feet. After building up around a month's worth of calluses, even broken glass won't cut you that bad
I never wear shoes, unless I’m going out in public. I can walk on concrete and rocks for miles, and my feet never bleed. I don’t think it’s realistic that their feet bleed like that in the film.
I don’t know how many people clocked it but the time from Day 1 of the aliens to Part 2 roughly correlates to the time between COVID making its first appearances to the movie releasing when it finally did in 2021. Seeing Part 2 in the theater was my second experience back in movie theaters after months of self-isolation and so many other things. It wasn’t as apocalyptic as what happened in the movie, but let’s just say I felt it still had extra resonance that it wouldn’t have had if 2020 hadn’t happened the way it did.
I find the constant need to find "plot holes" in movies so exhausting and annoying. So often it seem that some people just go into a movie *searching* for things to nitpick, instead of just watching. It's one of the areas where I think the internet has made the world worse.
Decided to rewatch all of these. Gonna be honest, the "Navy lures them into water" plan would fail the moment one of the Angels started drowning. While they are hyper agressive to any sound, they also have self preservation, and the sounds of one choking on water would be a big red flag.
Stupid question is the Island in the middle of a lake or out to sea because maybe its not the death of the water but maybe the high concentration of salt
Went to watch this movie when the cinemas reopened in 2021. That opening sequence was exhilarating! I almost screamed at the bear trap moment too, amazing acting. Emily Blunt deserves all the awards, as does John Krasinski !
I want to say not ableism, I have done this my whole life. You grow up fast when you are thrust into survival mode. People think we would die first, but I have been stuck trying to make it through life since I was diagnosed. My parents would totally throw themselves at danger for me, but id be doing everything to not put them there
The thing with the heels in Jurassic World was just how absurdly out of touch it made the actress look. Tell me you've never actually been in real danger without telling me you've never been in real danger...
A friend of mine said the movie was ruined for her because of the creatures´ inability to swim but I say it was logical an perfect. They´re strong but with long slim apppedages so denser muscles and their bulletproof armor would make them way too dense to float.
I was just looking to see if you made a video about the sequel the other day. Couldn’t have come at a better time. Guess we’re all excited about Day One!
I really like that in the first movie, the adults step up against the aliens, but in part two, it's the children. I personally think it's like a handing of the torch and a great example of human adaptability, ingenuity, spirit and resilience. The adults learned to survive and ensured their children knew how to with or without them, that was just the new reality. The adults, the 'first generation', for lack of better wording, ensured survival by learning and adapting before passing that knowledge to the children, the 'second generation'. Then the children built off what their parents/the adults learnt and adapted to, giving them the foundation basically, to learn and adapt further. In doing this, and with a bit of luck, the 'second generation' discovers the weakness of the Death Angels and it's a weakness that they can be exploited. Humans are apex predators. Technically in the AQPU (A Quiet Place Universe), we still are. The Death Angels are not our natural predators, they came from a giant meteor from space for fudge sake. If they had been given enough time, they 100% could be but that's where that human spirit I mentioned comes through. The first generation focuses on surviving by learning and adapting. The second generation having learnt and adapted, learns more and adapts further to then be able to push forward and fight back. For better or worse humans have a great capacity for violence. By combining human adaptability, ingenuity and spirit with our great capacity for sheer violence, the second generation is starting that process of resilience and fighting back, of taking back the world that was snatched so horribly and suddenly from them. Will this change humanity forever? Most definitely. But they lived, they learnt, they got back up and moved forward in the face of adversity. If you couldn't tell I am more than able to write a full essay about the AQPU whether it be from a technical aspect from the audio and video and cinematography or a philosophical(?) standpoint like the above. Hope you enjoyed my rant :)
I think we agree the beginning of this movie is the best part, and actually the hole escape the aliens sequence is probably the best scene in the whole series.

The fact that they do that means that on their planet, their is something very loud that makes a lot of noise. The armor is also evidence that the death angels weren't the dominant species on their planet. If they are that deadly or horrifying, imagine what their predator is. If it survived, humanity is screwed.

I'm a fan of her work since LEGION
hey, lee: 17 year old with autism and generalized anxiety disorder here. the disability comment is so fucking real. so many times I’ve had to be the adult and like, had to teach people twice my age how to interact with me.
My favorite positive UA-camr is back! Can’t wait to hear you talk about this movie!
Finally. And that opening is one of the greatest movies sequences ever.
I was kind of drained after reading meaningless negative debate about fandom things on the internet and wanted to interact with something I knew would be unashamedly positive so I thought "I'll go watch a cinemawins video." Now I feel better. I really appreciate your channel.
Missed opportunity for "Everything GREAT About A Quiet Place Part II (Part I)" for maximum confusion and the eventual "Everything GREAT About A Quiet Place Part II (Part II)"
Can you PLEASE do a video named "Everything Great about The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie"?
Which one?
@@stormyd1869 only the OG is good
@@stormyd1869 The first one
omg yeah!
But have the actual episode be about something else entirely, and never mention it again or explain why. Throw a bit of anarchy into the mix.
NGL, this video is how i found out there was a second movie already. I thought Day One was going to be the second movie
0:31 also I’m pretty sure Brody’s pizzeria is a reference to Chief Brody from jaws
I love 6:56 because I’m hard of hearing and even with my hearing aids on I still have some trouble, and whenever I tell people I’m HOH and need them to repeat what they say they always think they need to be louder when 9 times out of 10 they just need to enunciate
As another Lee watching this, my cortisol levels also spike when pretty actors say my name
As someone who walks around barefoot for around 90% of my life these past 2 years:
Yeah, you wouldn't have bloody feet. After building up around a month's worth of calluses, even broken glass won't cut you that bad
I never wear shoes, unless I’m going out in public. I can walk on concrete and rocks for miles, and my feet never bleed. I don’t think it’s realistic that their feet bleed like that in the film.
Something I really liked about this film is the dad especially in the first movie hard carried, but this time it's up to the kids to rise up
This wins video finally has me interested to check out this movie. Thank you.
One of my favourite “wrap-ups” to date. Really reminds me what makes this channel so great. More people need to be seeing this.
Episode 169 of requesting The Princess Bride!!!
Thank you!!! I’ve been wanting this since your first quiet place video!!!!!
10:28 Is this how car keys feel when they realize you locked them in the car?
Went to watch this movie when the cinemas reopened in 2021. That opening sequence was exhilarating! I almost screamed at the bear trap moment too, amazing acting. Emily Blunt deserves all the awards, as does John Krasinski !
Wait I just noticed that “Man on Island” in the second movie is Henri in the the prequel and now I’m kinda sad that I’m reminded that he’s dead 🥲
Ok small correction. He did risk his life for “a girl he met yesterday “. He risked prepared to give his life for a girl he has known her entire life:
What the actual f--! I was wanting to see this EXACT video earlier this week because I watched you review for the first one! You guys read my mind!
I want to say not ableism, I have done this my whole life. You grow up fast when you are thrust into survival mode. People think we would die first, but I have been stuck trying to make it through life since I was diagnosed. My parents would totally throw themselves at danger for me, but id be doing everything to not put them there
I just watched Day One and it is EXCELLENT !!!!!
16:58-16:59 Oh, you’re covering that, next? Well, I can’t wait.
omg u uploaded as im going to the theatres to watch quiet place day one watching iit rn
Was genuinely surprised to hear "cillian" pronounced properly, so used to hearing "sillian". Just something small I appreciated.
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VID SINCE I SAW THE FIRST ONE!!!!
EGA WolfWalkers, Power Rangers (2017), E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial and RRR!
RRR?
I would give my left nut for Lee to win RRR!, but as a frenchman I must ask... Are there actual international translations of RRR!? 🥹
I think we agree the beginning of this movie is the best part, and actually the hole escape the aliens sequence is probably the best scene in the whole series.
Hello!! I’m not sure where the best place to send this request would be, but could you possibly caption the movie clips that you use in your videos like you do very wonderfully for your wins/narrations? It can often be hard to decipher the audio of the movie clips and UA-cam’s automatic captions are both inaccurate and cover your correct narration captions. This would also make your videos more accessible for deaf/HoH folks and people with audio processing disorders. I know it is extra work for you, but this accommodation would be greatly appreciated by all if you have the time for it. Thank you so much for your incredible videos and for your consideration. Keep up the good work!
12:21 Day one
Please put Speed Racer on your list for a future EGA!
so glad to see someone who realizes that while we have the gift of hindsight, none of these characters did and they're *going* to be irrational and desperate. plus the acceptance that kids are 10x stupider and emotion driven than the adults so of course their decisions werent going to be very bright? cinemawin fr
That's crazy I NEVER even heard of a sequel to A Quiet Place until this video right now
Recommending arrival
John Krasinski was the only reason why I watched IF
Do you think you could do "John Carter" and Disney's "Lone Ranger"? Both movies are actually very good with awesome effects and good stories, but were murdered by Disney failing to promote them well. I'd love to see your opinion!!
Also, JP3 when?
not me trying to find out if he posted a video about a quiet place part two yesterday, getting disappointed, then coming back the next day to see that he made one.. what are the odds.
Despicable me for next week
so glad you sped up your intro, its small but makes a big difference if that makes sense
I get why they walk on paths of sand, but why does the deaf girl walk on sharp gravel instead of the nice soft grass growing in the middle? There's no way that's louder than gravel. I also get it, she's deaf, but even then you'd think she'd feel the difference.
Please do Everything Great About Wish
Such an epic sequel!
I really wanted more of the opening and hopefully if we get a third we will.
Everything Great about Oppenheimer
Everything Great about Shawshank Redemption
Everything Great about Interstellar
Pleeeeeaaase!!!?!♥️🙏
Tenet callback is always a win. Ding! ✨
I saw a radio shack in Aruba. Were they closed down…..that’s to be determined
I understand how you might be busy with Inside Out 2 soon. I still have that spreadsheet of all the main videos you've made over the years. Also, I can't wait for Despicable Me next weekend! I hope you heard the news of Shrek 5 and Donkey's spin-off movie, and I also have my 29th request for "Everything GREAT About Shrek (2001)!". But still, take your time. Love you, CinemaWins, Always!
If no one's reccomended it yet, I saw the TV glow! Also. Damn that bear trap bite :(((( devastating
Please do Oppenheimer or Inside Out 2
The fact that they do that means that on their planet, their is something very loud that makes a lot of noise. The armor is also evidence that the death angels weren't the dominant species on their planet. If they are that deadly or horrifying, imagine what their predator is. If it survived, humanity is screwed.
Hello sir! Thank you for another great video.
If you are interested, I’d recommend seeing The Watchers. It’s the written and directorial debut of Ishana Night Shyamalan. It’s a passable horror/thriller/monster flick.
IF you do end up reviewing it, which is your choice of course, can I please make a suggestion?
*minor story spoiler* Can you make sure to call the entities in the film by their proper name? The movie calls them certain names, which are almost correct, but fall a little short. As someone who studies the mythology of the country the story takes place in, it would be appreciated if the proper names were used at least once during a video.
I’d love to chat about this more if there is any interest. In any case, thank you for all the content you give us!

Where is Jim, when you need him
Lee, your vids are always a win.
I would LOVE to see you Win "The Brave Little Toaster".
Cinemawins returns!!!!
I want to see EGA Interstellar before dying 😢. Help me guys make my comment visible so Cinemawins guy make it . I appreciate your help 🙏
Can you do Oppenheimer next after minions??! Please!🙏
15:55 that's crazy
Thanks to your commentary on Edgar WRIGHT I know you have seen the movie Mr. RIGHT so if you could eventually do a video on that, I'd really love and appreciate it because, as we all know, Anna Kendrick and Sam frickin Rockwell is always a win. Also, hello. Tim Roth and the weirdest southern drawl ever? Like, come on.
I saw the preview with a live Q&A with the director. Not sure if I will go see "Day One" this movie pretty much covers it. The actor's parents were on set when they filmed the bear trap scene. Emily Blunt was 100% in the car when the bus hit it.
Week 2 of counting the number of times I've asked for Kimi no Na wa. Please do a video on it.
