Solo bushcradt overnighter, camping in the woods with my backpack, a tarp, and campfire cooking good food and having a good time. In this video, i get out into the woods and spend the night. We put up a lean-to tarp shelter, build a fire reflector, make a campfire, cook up some t-bone steak, potatoes, and vegitables. BACON is what was on the menu for a quick bushcraft breakfast ;-)
Camping outdoors, enjoying time in nature is what i tried to capture in this video. I hope you all enjoy this video.

Scrambled O the real scrambled o is back
One of the things that has helped me through all the lock down stuff in Michigan - especially being in the office alone - has been you making videos again. Thanks for being so awesome.
Thanks man. That’s what I am hoping for. Just to be there for people who have more serious issues in this climate who need a bit of an escape to recalibrate. ✌🏼
*Hey all, hope you enjoy this overnight camp out video. Please like, comment, subscribe, click the BELL NOTIFICATION if you enjoyed. Be safe everyone.*
Scrambled O FOOOOOOLLLLKS!! Scrambled O... Checkin iiinnn!!!!!
So good to watch you brother keep em coming
Love your videos, always keep me laughin and learnin.looookidatbo@@
Little birdie told me you like your steak bloody rare... LOL
Hah! I wanted them noodles lol.
"Prison spread recipe"
1.Ramen noodle: cook drain water.
1.Canned Chilli beans with Meat.(tuna will also do. Just drain water)
1. Small bag of chips crushed.(any kind will do, pork skins work good too)
4 pkts of mayo.
1 mustard pk.(optional lol)
Directions: add ramen flavor and mix all together. Eat with flour tortilla in burrito. Also on bread like sandwich. Or with saltine crackers. Yup! This is really a thing. Hope you do enjoy.
You need to go to the next season of Alone. I can only imagine 70 days straight of Scrambled OOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Wrap those potatoes in some aluminum foil before you leave home and throw them right on the fire, being enclosed steams them and cooks them perfect. Great video and thanks for sharing.
You yourself have admitted that you may not be the most well seasoned bushcrafter on YT but I don't care. You are hands down my favorite by far. Your personality, whimsical commentary and good heart make me sooooooo thankful that you are putting them up again. Keep it up M …. I love it.
Thank you Preston. A very kind comment and the coolest thing I have read in a long time. Thanks for your support.
@@ScrambledO No problem Martin. I am a long time watcher who appreciates the fact that you have a job, new house, new wife and myriad other responsibilities that I am not aware of. You don't have the luxury of freedom to upload whenever you want; you are a busy guy. As I said your fresh, whimsical un-
egotistical channel is really a lot of fun. You probably would be a good late night TV host LOL. I dare say better than some of the people on right now.
Picks random point in video to start watching.
Guy is taking a large swig from his flask..
Now THIS is a bushcrafting video 👍👍
Great looking camp and it's good to see you out again.
Thanks Nina hope you enjoy it! 🏕🔥✌🏼
Well done, thanks for sharing. In the wise words of TONY the TIGER “They're grrrrrreat!” 🤣
Love the fact you have a ground sheet. Ground sheets FTW!
This is the first of your videos I have watched, I gotta say I like the human element of admitting you forget things sometimes just like the rest of us.
This makes your videos a bit more friendly and I like that, thank you.
Awsome. Thanks for the distraction from the chaos. Cant wait for our snow to melt. Cooking bacon in the woods. Nothing better.
Just a whole lot of fun watching this. The trade mark of '' Scrambled O checking in'' is missed 😁thanks for entertaining us in these tough times
A well timed slice of Scrambled O to lift the spirits :) thank you xx
Great to see you out on an overnighter! The sunlight on that bacon brought a tear to my eye. 😂🤘
I know! Trust me being there it was like seeing a rainbow only better. 🤣🤣🤣
I'm ready to be scrambled
Good straight forward, enjoyable Bushcraft Overnight video. No bullshit, just good camp fun, relaxing, entertaining. Thanks.
Your happy juice would go great with a bit of greenery to end such a good night.
You are lucky to live in an area that you can stay overnight in a shelter like this. If I tried that in Central Florida I would be destroyed by bugs and visited in the night by a wide variety of woodland creatures, some not so friendly lol
🐊 😆
You could also do a Korean bbq style set up, all the prep at home. Thin slices of beef onions shrimp peppers garlic cloves. Cook and eat them right off the grill as you cook. Beer goes great with that. Use that same marinade on the beef and soy sauce on the shrimp.
Awesome setup. Thanks for sharing your trip out with us all. ✌
Good looking camp-shelter! Thanks for the video and be safe.
love the slow mo wood spliting... most majestic thing i've saw today....lol
Thanks man. I liked that part too was fun to make. 😀

Scrambled O....I.... I miss you. You look good. The stashe is dashing.
Yesssss Thank you Mr O. you sir are a really neat person =)
I’ll hate when you go back to work. One of your best videos ever. From one buckeye to another......
How far away are you from Kettering?
Fantastic stuff Martin. Thank you!
Many thanks!
Thanks Martin! 👍😁
Man I use to watch you years ago. Great to revisit. Hope all is well.
Watching this video right now and I feel as if I haven't laughed so much in such a long time. Scrambled O you tickle my funny bone in such a way. Very reminiscent of days I've spent camping with old buddies.
Good stuff man. I am glad the video can make ya remember back to good times. That is what it’s all about. ✌🏼
Oh boy, gunna grab a beer and enjoy this one!
Might need 2 or 3.... its a long one.
Scrambled O 😂😂 it was 2. During these crazy times it’s videos like these that slip us away from reality. So glad you’re on back and I hope you keep going. Great for the soul!
I'm ready for more of that funky cooking!
Firewood rule - whatever you think will be enough to last/sustain you for the night multiply that by two or even three 👍💪
Nice camp set up 👍
Nice camp. Kickin back with good fire, firewood, and food. Oh firewater. Take care.
Keep them coming O!!!
Thanks for another great video, so glad to see you're still getting out in the woods! Stay safe brother!
Funny how every guy have their own unique way of laying a fire, cool
That slow motion chopping wood looked cool.
You always keep it real 🤘🏼always appreciate that about you.
For future vids - woostersheer sauce. Great video, thanks!
Yes that is a steak. Yumo
Fatwood is my preferred firestarter. First, because it is nearly fail proof. Second, it's easy to come by. Third, it smells so good when making shavings.
must be the tidiest shelter ever
You da best! Always enjoy watching you cook, eat, set up camp. Perfection.
Thank you! Glad ya liked this one. 🙂
thanks scrambled
Extremely good video! Best bacon chef ever!!
I applaud you on this video. I've re watched it and I will watch your videos again. Funny at times , is great. Being a clown all the time is not. This video shows your growing and i'm looking forward to more.
Thanks Bert ✌🏼
Glad you're making videos more frequently at the moment. Thanks, Martin!
Great - more please!
Mmmmm I love my potatoes Smokey and unseasoned 😩😩
Your tarp shelter came out great. Good food and story line.
Thanks 👍
Dude that was an awesome looking camp set up, great video Martin, till next time , stay well :)
Very tidy camp!
The Prussik is one of the handiest bushcraft knots out there......
Keep the videos coming!!!!!!
nice setup, a good place to hang about now. You have time to add on a small addition
Now THAT'S the way to enjoy nice weather! Camping out, chop'n some wood in slo-mo, cook'n some Teee-Bone & Veggies.
Then bacon for breakfast. Loog-a-dat bacon Boa!
Cheers, Mr. O!
Mean stash cuz ...great vid..thanks
Moustache is coming along well 'O'. Looking more and more like Ned Flanders every day! 😂
Yeah booy loogidat camp! Classic O in fighting form. Great overnight.
the moment I saw that video goes 55 minutes ... a big smile on my face. You made me happy !!
Scrambled Oooooo it’s good to see you back Bro makes me want to kick back and crack a cold one with you and have some good laughs.
Great video as always! I do a very similar marinade. If you want to try something a little different: take the marinade and boil it down to a reduction (a long boil will kill any bacteria from the meat),,, you’re basically boiling all the water out and you’re left with a thick (how thick depends on how long you boil it) sauce which is great for dipping the steak, spuds or veggies in.
There is a bushcraft plate. I cut out the side of a gallon size milk jug. Leave some curve on it for a real short almost bowl. Like 1/4 inch, it will hold the food on the plate. They make good cutting boards too. I usually have two because they weigh nothing. Try it you like it.
Great overnighter Scrambled O!! Keep them coming!!
Yeah a overnighter! Food looks delicious!
Thank You Scrambled O, you made my day. I always have enjoyed all of your videos. Stay safe and healthy 😷👍😉
Thanks Julie! Stay safe during these crazy times
Thanks for the vid. I have an issue remembering the right knots for most things so I bought a 4-5, riveted, credit card that has the most used knots, in picture form, printed on both sides. Very handy and fits in a pocket. Got it ebay or amazon 3-4 years ago.
That's a great idea!
@@ScrambledO Saved me a few times!
Ya can't beat pre-cut bush wood...
Beautiful Bushcraft camp and video. Congratulations. Hugs from Brazil.
great vid thank you Scrambled.
Thx for watching bud
Hey scrambled I like your video ty for sharing god blessings on your trip good luck.. Again ty
finnaly a long video! its time for a beer.
Seriously museum quality going on here
"LOOK AT THAT LEAN-TO BOY"
Glad to see ya again friend.
Nice work on the tarp. Should work a figure eight knot into your repertoire, much better than the half hitch you used at the start. Other than that pretty much exactly how I would set my tarp.
Entertaining, educating, and relaxing :)
Oh heck yeah bud, thanks much for the quality content!
Great videos man! Nothing better than being alone camping all naked drinking a beer and listening to the Beegees!✌️
Hahahah sounds good to me man 😀
@@ScrambledO by the way great and Delicious recipes!👍
Oooooooooo still waiting for you to start Checkin innnnnnnn. Martin is messing with us now!!!!
So happy your back 😃😃
Duuuuude. YeSssss!!!
as I saw the bag of Fritos and then you began to eat them as a snack. Just so you know you could use Fritos or any corn chips as a Firestarter
bushcraft chopsticks - makes that bacon flippin easier
also, thanks for posting the vids. It's making this quarantine less ... stuck at home.
Thank you for posting this video I really enjoy watching it just what we all needed.
Thanks for checkin in 🤗 hoping it can provide a little stress relief for those cooped up. ✌🏼
Scrambled O you welcome
Believe it or not I learn so much from you guys. I seen the video with you Joe and doug
Always top notch video production. An inspiration for sure. Love your work. Cheers bro!
Good to see you out again bud
Excuse the pig let the hog pass by nice belch.
Nice job on the camp setup it looked great.
Split a log slam the round side down in the dirt (or dig a little trench to set it in place)eat off the flat side.
Thanks for the video I enjoyed it be safe and keep us laughing.
Glad to see another overnighter :) Always good fun to watch
Great video! Your entire setup was perfect. You are an expert!👍
Looks like you might have some loops on that back of the tarp that you can tie lines to, pull back and tie down for more head room. Probably need to play around with it, but might work.
Beautiful work! All the best to you and yours!
I'm looking forward to the video On the new and improved Bushcraft bacon turner!👀👀👀 Keep breathing!
