My new favorite band. This is so unbelievably amazing, I just can not get enough of this song, or any other one they wrote. This is just...outstanding. By God, none of the music on my favorites list compares at the moment.
yeah exactlyy right. seems like such a secluded area, its like in the north, where there are a lot less people. i can imagine how much these boys missed such a tight knit community
I've only discovered Moon Safari in the last 4 or 5 months and i don't think I've heard anything this outstanding for 20 years or more! I've bought every album bar one of the live ones and i can't remember progressive music that has impressed me from every aspect... i feel privileged to have found this band...they are just so talented !
Stunning. Absolutely stunning. Anyone who says great prog ended in the 70s should listen to this masterpiece. And there's Big Big Train, Haken, Riverside, Mostly Autumn, Lazuli and many many more new bands who are making absolutely brilliant music.
Wow this song has got to have one of the most beautiful melodies i've ever heard in a prog epic. Thank you Moon Safari. You did good. You did DAMN good.
Absolutely positively wonderful. The five thumbs down need their hearing checked. Just a phenomenal band, perhaps the best progressive rock band that nobody has ever heard of.
I have most definitely heard of Moon Safari here in the UK, and they are hands down my most favourite prog band by far these days and I am a long time fan of bands like Genesis, Yes and ELP. Moon Safari is up there with these guys as far as I'm concerned! 👍
Oops...pressed the wrong key...as I was saying, I'm a long time YES fans and always look for new Prog bands. I found a few over the years but no one compares to MS. These guys are awesome. They can sing, play and write creative music with beautiful melodies. Just love everything they've recorded so far.
Stunning!...love this track. Where on earth did this lot come from?...and how did they get so damned good in such a short time? This music is quite incredible - like the Flower Kings but without all the challenging shit!
I went to see Moon Safari last weekend and they were great. The only downer was that they did not play this song which in my opinion is one of the greatest long form of the progressive genre of the last 0 years.
now waiting for you all to produce a new album and have a great wish to see you all someday LIVE. prog on guys you all are the greatest modern generation progressive rock pioneers.
and of course those harmony vocals ...loved Star Castle more than Yes because they had a more accessible sound...it never went over the top..allthough I never minded bands that went over the top but for some strange reason Yes was not my cup of tea ( but I do have their first three albums and all of the Star Castle albums, also their come back releases which are still amazing )

This is really good. Also check out "Yasgur's Farm" and "Bluebells." This band has a really nice epic old-school prog sound that makes your soul feel good. Love it!
Hi Charles...they are coming back to the UK at the end of November 2014 on a double bill with French band Lazuli. Saw them at the Robin 2 in Bilston back in September and they were immense. My find of the year, and one of my fave gigs, right up there with Rush and the Neal Morse/Flower Kings/Transatlantic gigs. Hope they play this again in full!
especially this lyrics: "Life is but a waiting room And I guess I'm still waiting there for youuuuuuuuu" absolutely reeks of cheesiness but it's the best love song ever created regardless.
@@ChrisChoi123 As the title pretty much gives away the entire "Lover's End" suite is more about the memory of love that ended, at least somewhat, bitterly and that now has passed. " _A bitter kiss off to the memories of you_ "
Ya'll seem to be breaking into new areas, even while revisiting some earlier LE themes. I'm always slow finding out about new releases these days. But once I do I usually snatch 'em right up... usually in just a month or two.
I will probably never find a band as beatiful as this
You're probably right
I listened to this song in 2012 but forgot the name. After 12 years, I'm finally here
This is one of the most perfectly crafted pieces of music I ever did hear.
damn you guys know Moon Safari too? never would have guessed it from your music
Absolutely gorgeous! What a great song! Long live prog!
This band was the finding of the century for me. As an old timer YES fan, I've
My new favorite band. This is so unbelievably amazing, I just can not get enough of this song, or any other one they wrote. This is just...outstanding. By God, none of the music on my favorites list compares at the moment.
My God - this is the first thing I've heard by this band and it's instant goosebumps.
Reminds me of Camel, Genesis and all that's best in prog!
I listen to this magnum-opus every day. Greetings from Brazil.
Do you still listen to it everyday?
@@ChrisChoi123 I listen this since 2012 /// hi from Russia!
America here listening in 2020.
Still in love in 2020... glad they reunited
@@teemuhyvonen1333 wait what, where did u hear this? when were they ever apart?
Damn, this song really makes me want to venture away from my small town to visit Skellefteå.

That is exactly how I feel. It took me 4 years to discover them, from first discovering rock through Bohemian Rhapsody about 4 years ago.
Stunning. Absolutely stunning.

Outstanding this song! 👏
So good I didn't want it to end! Those vocal harmonies are uncanny. And only $3.99 to download from iTunes makes me happy ;)
One of the most beautifil things I've heard in 40 plus years of being alive
Wow this song has got to have one of the most beautiful melodies i've ever heard in a prog epic. Thank you Moon Safari. You did good. You did DAMN good.
you guys are one of my greatest music heroes. love from nepal

Oh god this band just keeps getting better, great song :P
11:53 of this song is literally the intro of The Truth Will Set Your Free!!!
STOP GIVING ME GOOSEBUMPS ALREADY! :)
This is the song that plays at the end credits of the world
13:36 sounds like the theme on The Whirlwind by Transatlantic
yes it does, sounds like 1:30 of the song, from this video ua-cam.com/video/zIN0I8Cvotg/v-deo.html , for future reference

For me it's exactly one minute earlier at 13:36
It's not fair that I'm in a video with more views. This deserves all the love in the world. I'll have to buy it ASAP.

y16amp x they are from Sweden! Amazing musicians
Heard this last night on EIMA and was instantly hooked! Shades of Flower Kings (no surprise there, maybe) but beautiful, compelling, emotional :)
Great stuff ... so glad I stumbled upon these guys!
Wow! A musical master piece!!
Following the path that Yes discovered decades ago...
Ein fantastischer Longtrack... weiter so; go on like this!!!
Majestic and epic stuff it's fantastic !!!
On a par with the great epic suites of the great 70's Prog bands. Long live Moon Safari !!!
Thanks so much for uploading this!!
.....................A Love Song.
Thanks for uploading this, the sound quality is superb! I hope they have an epic on their next album, they're amazing.
They sound amazing. Too bad I live in Brasil, the land of the funk music.
You guys from Sweden are the luckiest people in the world !

Estoy redescubriendo MOON SAFARi Y SON REALMENTE MAGNIFICOS.-
Tack för att ni la upp den här! Jag köpte skivan i Alingsås, men UA-cam är ju så himla bekvämt. Fantastisk bild också!
we're still here 2021
Beautiful music. Love it.
Dude, your name is "Tormato".
Agreed! That was the worthiest $3,99 I've ever spent in my whole life!
Those guys have listened to Starcastle. Nice work!
totally agree ..the synthesiser completely sounds like Star Castle.. loved that band ..love this also

Indeed more Starcastle than Yes....i have this mini cd and it has slowly become one of my all time classics.
아름답다.
They've gotten a touch closer to the Flower Kings sound. I thought their earlier stuff was lacking in guitar melodies but that has improved.
Red hot chili Peppers
Only not tone deaf
they have surpassed the flower kings in every way i think
magic happens after 19:33 that ending part and solo fukkkkkk heavenly godlike
I agree it's absolutely magical here
For me it's 5:38
Lover’s End, Part III: Skellefteå Serenade(paroles)
The mountain mob is on their way
Downtown with the '208',
To seal this summers fate
Mary's on the city square, she flashes her engagement ring to anyone who cares
All the poets are blunt tonight,
As Bishop's arms gone dry
The lonely lover's just arrived
He's tearing every doorway down
And invites the darkness again
& Tunnel's out tonight
All dressed up for one last bout
With dreamy eyes
They carry on as if nothing could break their hearts
The streets are slitherin' like a snake
And the shadows are standing guard beneath a killer moon
Mary's dancing to the beat of the howling mob to Merchant st.
One last retreat
The promise of the southbound train
Fades with every drink and dies with the rain
& Tunnel's out tonight
Stomp those high nosed bastards down in one last fight
Today we'll make a new Jerusalem
We'll meet again in cold december
Another night noone will remember
In the distance Mary's singing
"This is my hometown, yeah this is my home til' I die"
Under the cold light of God's street lamp, he walks alone the original supertramp
King of the sticks, mayor of madness
It gets us all in the end, in this part of the world
Ol' Rubberfeet if you could see us now
Five years have passed since your last bikeride
The city's outsourced and the factory's shutting down
Culture's been boiled down to a they all can sing,
But they've stopped believin' the words
Ol' Rubberfeet if you could see us now
Ol' Rubberfeet we really get you now
In this town the only movement
Is by the driftwood down the river
Let everyone and everything just drown in the dam and get lost in the deep blue sea
Here's to all the friends that couldn't stay
To those that didn't matter anyway
For years I've said goodbye to this old town
The sky's covered in fire, now I'm done
The chic elite and all the punks meet
Out on the porch, where we're all just rubberfeet
Burning the streets just like a wildfire
You'd better burn all your maps to get out of this trap
Ol' Rubberfeet our home has lost its soul
Ol' Rubberfeet, no heroes in this show
When autumn falls down like a curtain and all the roads are quite uncertain
The dream postponed just weighs you down
Face it my friend, you are stuck in this lonely town
Here's to all the friends that couldn't stay
Cheers to all the ones I wished away
For years I've said goodbye to this old town
The sky's covered in fire, now I'm done
I heard you're leaving the city
You're heading back north
For years I have waited for you to come home
But my bags they are all packed and I'm closing that door
And the songs I gave you don't mean a thing anymore
But you know that I love you
I'm never leaving, this place is my home
I hope you've sorted your life out
But I guess you're alone
I want to call you, but I'm much too proud
I'll try to catch your face but you're lost in the crowd
But you know that I love you
Life is but a waiting room
And I guess I'm still waiting there for you
I thought that I was only passing through
From the Sunlit hill to the Singing valley, I feel you everywhere
Life is but a waiting room
And I guess I'm still waiting there for you
I thought that I was only passing by
Some of us burn in beautiful ways
Some do believe that these are the days
I've wasted these years just looking back
But I've saved my best lines for one final act -
A bitter kiss off to the memories of you
Here's to all the friends that couldn't stay
And here's to everyone that found their way
For years I've said goodbye to this old town
The sky's covered in fire, now I'm done
I close my eyes, I'm home at last and all of the lost boys are here by my side
Your love's got me on the run,
But I'm never leaving my hometown
Your love's got me on the run,
But I'm never leaving my hometown
My new favorite band!
YES! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
