I have Cooper M/T's in this size on my Ram 1500. Was thinking of buying these Renegade R/T's. How are they at highway speeds? Hoping to get a tire that has less noise and less vibration than my Coopers. Thanks!
I have been running my RT+ 37/13.50/17R for over a year and although initially thought they were really good, I have a change of opinion. They are not great to balance and wobble really badly over time. I have also had 2 sidewall punctures within the last 7 weeks. Will definitely steer clear of these in future.
Exactly in the same position, I have nittos on, but I feel like these would be pretty good tires, especially for the price, god knows everything is ridiculous expensive nowadays
I just bought some Sailun Terramax RT. They seem to be pretty good so far. The only thing i wish that they would have is more aggressive side biters. Otherwise they have good gaps in the tread. More than the Nitto trail grapplers that i had before. The grapplers were good but you paid $100 more a tire.
Had patriots for 5k miles. They wouldn’t balance out to save my life. Got rid of them quickly. Walked down the freeway and shook my head going on the one trip I tried to take on them 🙈
I just ordered a set of 285/70R17 tires from another retailer, but if you can send them mounted and balanced on wheels and match the price, I'll return the other set! Also, I'm still not sure if that size works on an '03 1500 Suburban with a 3" level. Any advice on that before I throw them on and can't return them anymore?
Own a set on my 19 silverado 1500. Paid around $750 for a set of 275/55/20's. 26k miles so far. Half tread or so. Zero issues. Quiet. Comparable to wilpeak at3's. Would buy again, but due to now being almost the same price as more popular brands I'd rather get wildpeaks. If you get a smoking deal, don't even question it. Just buy them.
I've had these tires 275-70R18 for just over 1 year now, with roughly 35,000 miles. Obviously a lot of highway miles but still A LOT of constant, rough off road miles. I have a 2012 F150 STX 4X4 and I make it do truck shit in the mountains. Right off the bat...do i recommend these tires....sure. Have they plowed through mud, rocks, snow and cars driving slow in the left lane...definitely. Have i gotten stuck in some bad situations...yes. Multiple times. Have some of those times been more my fault than theirs...yeah. They do well enough on snowy pavement. I live in northern Utah so they saw alot of that. I've never heard any road noise coming from them. Their biggest problem is snow. Once they lose their grip and spin and sink just a little, get out and dig some room to get traction, if you don't, you're going to have a really bad fucking day. Same goes for loose sandy types of soil. They don't really do well with that. Other than that, they've been reliable. They'll crawl over large sharp rocks you find on backcountry roads no problem. Again no noise, no wobble and i never rotated them. If i did, maybe I could get more out of them, but they have reached the end of road....pun intended. I'm most likely to get another set. The quality for the price ratio is pretty good.
100% this. They’re fine initially but after 10-15k miles they wear unevenly, it’s like the knobs on the tread are made from inconsistent material. Some knobs are harder some are softer. This intern causes the tire to be unbalanceable. My alignment was checked multiple times, they’re run at proper psi. Rotated often. I do not recommend these.
I have a set of these in 35x13.5x20 and one won’t balance out with road force. I ordered a spare wheel and same tire hoping to swap out the bad one and ended up with the same thing.
No, you didn't have a hallucination, they are well cut and a piece of the side studs is missing! I almost bought them and now I don't feel so good and I don't have confidence! It's still incredible for almost new tires! 😕
How do these perform in high southern summers and spring rains? How are these with road noise? I am very interested if those questions get answered what I am expecting, thanks!
I ran a set of these on my 2.7L ecoboost from 50k miles, to 160k miles.. when I took them off, I still had safe tread in them. These outlasted the set of falcons I had before and they’re way cheaper! I did keep them rotated between oil changes every 5-7k miles and I really take care of my shit.. but I got just shy out of 100k out of these tires.. I love renegade tires. It’s a great quality tire that’s way more cost effective than big box tire brands.
They do make them in 15 inch too, but for the time being the 15 inch ones are exclusive to Polish markets. That being said Colony Tire & Service from North Carolina does sell the 15 inch ones.
@@ronjuliana3720 I don’t think they are actually available in 15 inch sizes and that is why I opted for roadcruza Rt tyres as only they were available in India.
They are expected to last from 40,000 up to 45,000 miles! We had someone at the shop here running those tires and they really enjoyed them! I do not believe they handle the greatest in snow/ice though which is key for us up here!
I got my Cooper Rugged Treks in 265/70/17 for a little over $900 and they have a 60,000 mile warranty. I’ve had my Rugged Treks in just about everything and they’re great!
Not terrible! I cant find a specific milage online but we have had someone in the past build a truck with these Renegades and had 0 things to complain about.
These tires seem fine at first but after 10-15k miles they turn to shit. It’s like the rubber isn’t manufactured consistently. Regardless of rotation, alignment and psi these tires WILL wear to a point where they are literally not able to be balanced. They are probably best for off road use only. DO NOT buy these and put them on a work truck. Especially if you tow. You will be dissapointed.
Good to know. Planning to get a set to replace the OE Bridgestone HTs (684 II) and this was on my short list, along with the Radar Dimax AS-8 and a couple of Thunderer tires. I've actually narrowed it down to the two Thunderers: Ranger ATR or Ranger HT603.
I have a set of these currently. They are not good! They flex way too much on the road when cornering. They have zero wet traction so extremely poor traction in water and snow. Two of the tires were so out of round I had to but 6 tires to have one set. I would never buy these tires again.
Oh and I want to add that the tires are super load on the highway they are not quiet. But the highway wear on the tires is really good. I have 20k miles on the set and they look almost brand new.
They do make them in 15 inch too, but for the time being the 15 inch ones are exclusive to Polish markets. That being said Colony Tire & Service from North Carolina does sell the 15 inch ones.
I had to warranty out 2 complete sets (4 tires per set) of the 275/65/R20 RADAR Renegade RT's within 2 months. How does a company sell DEFECTIVE TIRES and not expect anyone to say anything???..............""RADAR RENEGADES ARE 100% ABSOLUTE GARBAGE TIRES!!!!!""
I put the M/T on my Colorado at 42,000 miles. I have 138,000 miles on my truck and I am just now looking to change them and that’s only because my wheel bearings have been out and caused the tires to finally wear out. If not for that I’d still be riding on them. Every tire company in the world will make a defective tire from time to time.
I run a set of Renegade At/5 on my Cherokee Trailhawk. Very good tire! Drove from Washington St to Virginia and back. Love the price too!!!
currently using Renegade RT 275/65/18..12k Kms still looking like new.
I run a set of Radar Renegade R/T+ 275/75R16 and I have to say that for the price they're some of the best tires I've ever owned
I bought them from us in Israel in size 195/80/15 for my new Suzuki Jimny 2023 for $490 for 4 wheels!
Definitely not a bad price!
Just put a set on my truck. 37x12.5x20 and I Love them.

Are they loud?

How much were they. I was thinking about getting these but they have mixed reviews
Might give these a try after my nittos
Same here

Cool review. We are seeing a lot of them now in South Africa as well. A lot cheaper than BFG which is very popular in SA.

Says made in Thailand on sidewall? 3:49. Looks like decent tire though
I just ordered a set installed, forced match balancing and they still bounce. A local tire shop said they stop selling them cuz they don't balance.

Is it only me who saw the cracks on the side walls at 6.24 & 6.27? The whole tire looked defective to me. Of course, I could be mistaken.
Good catch lol it looks like it

Thinking about getting 37”s of these for my 19’ Raptor
Sounds wild! If you need any help shoot us a message or give us a call.
Are they any good in winter climate. I'm in Minnesota and need a tire that's good in winter .

The thread is sick
Tread. Tires have tread. There’s no thread on a tire.
The side wall of the tire said made in Thailand not the US.
I like the tire but why there's a demons on a sidewall?
How did they hold up? How many miles do you get out of them and how is the wet pavement traction?

Just wish they made 305/60r18
Can't find it for a 16" wheel. Stock 17" Xterra wheels are ugly.
So what is the test for 120 degree heat my toyos at aint holding up so well

Solid 60,000 mile warranty! You can tell they stand by their product!
All the common sizes are backordered
What size are you looking for by chance? Looking to see if I can find some options for you!
