- In this video we wake up at our camp on Bethel Ridge in the Wenatchee National Forest. We continue on Section 2 on the WABDR towards Nile, WA where we get gas for the motorcycles. We continue back up into the mountains. We decide to bypass Baby Head Hill which is a very steep rocky section. The bypass route was nice and brings us right into Ellensburg, WA where we get gas and enjoy pizza for lunch. This marks the end of Section 2 and begins Section 3 of the WABDR. We head back up into the hills where we find another ridge side camp for the night.

I don't ride motorcycles but man do I want to do this after watching these videos. I have to agree those campsite view were amazing on the video can only imagine what it was like being there. Usually don't sit through a 30 minute video, I did this one!!!! Enjoy the road and stay safe.

Watching all the videos so far I am sure all these roads are passable in a Jeep or something similar. I would most definitely travel these trips in my Jeep.
I always change the speed setting to 1.75x or 2x for longer videos. 😊

I swear I'm riding right along with you while sitting in my recliner directly under my ceiling fan. Watching your video on a wide screen TV brings me right into the scenery. I'm taken back 45 years and and Riding Right beside you On my Yamaha 250 DT1 off road bike. I used to travel the back roads of northern Minnesota like this. Sadly all my motorcycle friends were highway cruisers So typically I was alone. I moved on up to 750 Hondas and rode for about 30 years, But always enjoyed Exploring the Lesser traveled roads better. I'm really enjoying your trip so much!

This is quite the adventure. You should hear me, sitting here, going "STOP LOOKING AT THE SCENERY AND WATCH THE ROAD!!!" when you are on those cliffs, lol. I personally would have walked my motorcycle over most of this trip - you two are brave souls.

This reminds me of Table Mountain just north of Ellensburg, WA. We used to have our yearly Star Party there where we would set up telescopes to view and photograph the night sky.

Hey, glad you enjoyed some of our beautiful State. As I said before I'm in North Central Washington Northwest from Elenensburg. But as you are riding there are logging roads here that look like where you are riding now. I have my Chevy Silverado Pickup 4x4 and go out messing around out there in the woods. It's December 3rd here and we got a total of about 14 inches of snow. The Main roads are plowed 155 and Hwy 97 North to Canada and in good shape. Well enjoy the views.
