wow I didn't realize how much gain staging affected the sound of the Taiga. Great sounds!

yeah kind of wild. I found out today that there is bleed of the oscillators even with volumes at 0. I had a sine bass and couldn't figure out where the high pitched sound was coming from for a while

It's always a buzz listening to someone else's design of fundamentally the same circuits but with "their" flavor, instead of the same old same old. The difference is obvious & unique, I like it. A perfect complement to your collection. Somewhere down the line, I'm thinking Patch Cable Rack/Hanger?

I was thinking about that too. All the little differences combined make it interesting. I don't know why I love synths, but this one hits a sweet spot for me! Though the cables, UGH THE CABLES!!! I have been trying to think of where to put them and don't know yet. I don't know what I'm going to do.

I like how this synth has the "classic" analogue sound but with modern features like a low pass gate. Sounds phat!

The little things it has to bring it to the modern age really make it worth it to me. They really packed a lot into this and the price feels like a steal. Going to take so much time figuring out though; the waveshapes alone are so sensitive and hard to find the shape you are looking for (like the sync wave in my video that ended up just being fmish, I remembered it being 3quarters turned but nope!)

@@ModIcore yeah I noticed the hard sync was “key sensitive” what I mean is that on low notes it wasn’t too noticeable but on higher notes it was more pronounced and did sound fmish too, I did like the delay on it that sounds super cool 🙂
