Sketchy vs. Pixorize Review & Comparison | Life of a Med Student

Pixorize is less exhausting than Sketchy.
Pixorize has better images,symbols and more memorable.

@@SoloJedi_ Their recent update literally has every subject on the MCAT; you can’t use it for your entire content review . Pixorize only has biochem and behavioral and doesn’t have any quizzes or questions ? Check it out. It’s like pixorize on crack

Pixorize, how is it in terms of the quality of microbiology and pharmacology material compared to Sketchy?

boards and beyond is better than pathoma in my opinion because they clinically correlate for step 2

I did Pexorize for biochemistry and immunology and it was PERFECT. I took decision study Micro and pharm also from Pexorize because of the ability to recall the information from them sketches is waaay more better than Sketchy, but i am afraid to go on because many people support Sketchy upon Pexorize. My question please is that am i gonna regret this decision lol ?? Thanks for help

That's great!! If pixorize works better for you don't second guess it, roll with whatever helps you the most! My video is just my two cents, nothing to live by. :)

There used to be more flexibility with sketchy plans, but they got rid of the flexibility

I love Pixorize, but Sketchy has longer videos, making me think Pixorize is missing important info needed for step 1, is that true?

I can't say for sure but sketchy is definitely more detailed and I find the scenes easier to remember so I only used pixorize to fill in any gaps or if sketchy didn't have a video on a particular drug/topic

That’s a great question, I haven’t seen any sketchy videos that have been Spanish subtitles but it wouldn’t hurt to reach out to sketchy about that!

Hey, thanks for watching! Some people like picmonic, but I don’t find it to be as helpful as pixorize. Their visuals and explanations are hit and miss for me, so I only use picmonic if I’m really struggling with a topic that’s not covered in other resources I use regularly (BnB, pathoma, sketchy, pixorize).
