@@sean.g4516 Thats exactly what i did and it fits perfect with no modifications. I can't say any 06 yz250 skid plate would work. But this specific one is a direct fit to the 2000 yz250 steel frame chassis. Part# is in the title

@@texas2strokes727 what chain and sprockets do you use? Bout to replace mine for the first time since I've had it.
Mike, I know yours is a 250 but do you think it would fit a 2000 yz125? Not sure if the frames are the same or close enough so what’s your guess?
I do not think it will work on a yz125 because of the shape of the front lower frame.
