    I know this gentleman personally. I ride with him almost every weekend. He absolutely knows his craft and shreds on a dirt bike.

    My new 250x seems fine. I have it set for soft with hard rebound on trails. I’m a little heavy so someone said it gets pretty low. I’d rather just loose some weight. However, I see a lot of bikes that use the full travel.

    Hey man! Just installed my vforce R4 due to your much newer video reviews. I recently purchased a 05yz125 and bought an 06 yz250 rear shock. I’m about 180-190lb do you think I would be ok with not swapping the spring over? A lot of people suggest putting the 125 spring on the 250 shock. Curious on your thoughts. Thanks!

      Hello. Well balance is key. So if you install the yz250 rear shock I would use the 125 rear spring if you don't plan to swap fork springs. But at your weight it would be real good to go up in spring rates both front and rear, keeping it balanced. At your weight a 5.1kg rear and 0.46kg front would be a good place to start

    I have an 03 yz125 with as far as I know of the stock springs. The rear suspension is super soft and bouncy. I tried and tried to stiffen it up with the adjusters but I feel like the adjusters aren't changing anything. I went all the way in and all the way out and it didn't change anything. I'm new to this so I don't know if it's the spring or the absorber itself or what. Any ideas or advice?

      Hello. It sounds like its leaked all its fluid out from a bad shock shaft seal. Most likely it's due for a rebuild . When the clickers make no difference and it's all springy, thatd usually what I needs

    My top steering stem bearings were completely sludged after just breaking in my new yz, what could cause this or how can i prevent this? Thank you so much for the content.

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91  2 роки тому +1

      Hello. When I find bearings bad in the steering its usually from water getting in there. And most of the time water gets in there from pressure washers or too much water pressure in that area. I would clean and grease or replace them bearings and seals and try to keep water from getting in there when washing the bike

    Do you have a good source for a spring rate calculator? Good series here btw.

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91  2 роки тому +3

      Thanks! The only one I have tried playing with and know of is race techs spring calculator and it can be fun. But what it suggest for me and what I end up finally settling in with usually dont match so it's hard for me to recommend using a calculator. But thanks for the idea, on the next video I will try my best to explain how to figure out the best spring rate and balance front and rear. I will try to get that out this week.

      www.decallab.eu/ if you email them and ask for all available designs they will email you back like 100s to choose from. It's from Europe but the price is right and delivery is fairly fast

    Hello mate I have a yz125 05 I’ve set the sag gone through the clicker’s but still think the suspension is a bit soft especially on jumps should I change the oil to a 5w or get new springs I weigh 180lbs🤙🏻

    • @UpAllNight91

      Hello. At 180 I would surely get some springs and a fresh service front and rear and start there. Firmer springs for sure

      I’m from uk I can get a hold of some racetech and k-tech springs not much else out there other than yz250 springs on eBay do they fit also for my weight what would you recommend on shock spring and fork springs🤙🏻

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91  2 роки тому +1

      @@jojokarli race tech will get it done if that's all you can get. Or you can round up a good used 5.5Kg rear spring from the yz450 from 2006 to 2009, and the .47Kg front springs from the 2005 yz450 and that should be very well spung for 180 pounds. Or get the 5.3Kg from a 2006 to 2009 yz250f, and the fork springs from a 2005 yz250f and that would probably be right on for ya
