Lovin the carbon wrap... now that’s attention to detail. Looking fantastic Jonathan 👍👍

Looking good , I like the wheel alignment technique with the rod attached. Im doing that from now on.

Looks awesome! With the twin K-160s the inside looks just as cool as the outside!

as usual, fantastic work ! in French, we said " serré comme des sardines en boite" ( canned sardine ?) inside this plane ! have a nice day

Thanks Philippe! Yes definitely tight in any F15! This one is much better than the 1/8th or 1/9th scale one.

I think you should also add Dilithium Crystals beside the flux capacitor. 😀

In the machine shop.those bits are rotary files.

That is interesting to see how the struts are tilted in like that. I like the Xicoy air sequencer. The telemetry tells me the pressure so no need for a pressure guage in the jet. Great little unit. Might be cheaper to order that Tygon by the roll! :-)

Yea once you understand the programming it’s so much easier! I remember getting one of the early units. The instructions were brutal and I fought with that thing for hours

@@thelightersideofrc I actually used your sheet as a template and it made the setup so easy. Instructions are still brutal.

Your videos assembling the F15 are amazing. What a beautiful plane but to complicate for me. I use to fly a Phoenix 7 including a retráctil landing gear.
Este avion es increíblemente hermoso y solo espero ver el primer vuelo

I noticed you don't safety wire all your air lines on gear and doors. Have you ever had a leak? If you have what was the source? I just finished a SM L-39 and had quite a few leaks that needed fixing.

Loving this series, especially because my friend is building the same exact jet right now. Make sure that flux capacitor is ... fluxxing

The main wheels do lean inward when the plane is on the ground, not the struts but there is some Detroit lean 👍🙂

Honest opinion, what is the kit quality between this one and skymaster? Manual quality?

    • @thelightersideofrc
      @thelightersideofrc  3 роки тому +2

Hey John. Aircraft quality is very similar. Glue joints very similar. Finish quality is very similar. Skymaster has much better landing gear quality but you tend to pay more for it.

      Manual. 😂😂😂 neither

Jonathon, Is the carbon wrap actual carbon for strength, or is it just a nice finish for show?

The good thing of Chinese planes is the cost. Everything else is very hard to compare to any Tomahawk stuff.
