very nice! I have my Scalpel carbon 3 for almost 3 weeks now and I have logged around 300 miles already in 5 rides. I am really impressed about the the bike and the suspension. The trails in Southern California are almost similar to what you have, very rocky and steep long climbs and rocky flowy singletracks. I have done my touchpoint upgrades such as (Enve bar and stem and a 125mm dropper post) .I am debating between a Hallowgram wheelset or an Enve wheelset as my last upgrade. If you don't mind do a review of the Hallowgram wheelset on your Scalpel and an estimate price point so I can justify the price difference between Enve and Hallowgrams. That's great! You get the Red or the Grey one? Those upgrades will help so much especially the dropper. Sweet I will look into that, honestly I've ridden the Enve on a Dtswiss hub rear and lefty hub front M50 model with flat spokes and wasn't blown away compared to these Hollowgrams out the box they're good.
Personally I ride South Wheels or Tune on my personal bike with a hope hub and Sapim spokes. This setup is light and super wide giving a 2.25 tire a really good shape. So check out these 2 additional brands perhaps.
Riding the Scalpel 3 too. Very Good bike but i noticed scratches from the Chain between the chainstay and the chainring. When backpaddeling the Chain grinds over the chainstay. Do you have the Same issue?
Raymond Cox I got the black/grey colorway and it's a head turner for sure. Cool! I will check those wheelset out hopefully it's available here in the US otherwise like you recommend I would just get a Hallowgram wheels instead of Enve. Do you have any idea how much for those wheelset?

Does this have a 3 position lockout? How light did this bike come in?

I am going to buy a CANNONDALE SCALPEL 2 2021, it can be fitted with a 38 OR 40 FOX suspension
I've seen one with a 34, not sure about the 38.
