Mental how xc has developed! Modern xc bikes are more capable downhill than a DH bike from a decade ago and the courses have DH sections that would be in a black run at a bike park! Incredible stuff
You can't be serious
@@maxfish2301 well, probably a bit more than a decade but you get my point!
A 40T / 10-45?? LOL!! I thought I was a bad ass jumping up to a 32T from my 30T on my 10-52. These dudes are freaking awesome!
I’m definitely trying that zip tie trick on the pedal. That little bit of up and down play is a bit annoying and sometimes creaks.
Amazing content, keep it up.
-20 degree stem. Crazy when you consider the LAB71 Scalpel SE mere mortals with HUGE wallets can buy comes with a 7 degree stem.
The Cannondale bikes special the Scalpel i think ist the best xco bike !
2:40 That's what she said .
SA accent explaining the scalpel. Awesome.
What a beast, 40T, must be track spec
Like the hot wax chain
Esse avanço tem quantos de grau negativos ?
That stem going anymore lower would be better off attached to the crown of the fork.
Somewhat similar aesthetically to a leftie, what’s the point of an asymmetric dual crown fork design like the Intend Bandit, or does this design only exist with inverted forks for additional stiffness due to the absence of a structural bridge above the wheel? #askgmbntech
It made me laugh when JP said the stem has negative rise so the riders "don't sit up like squirrels".
I wonder if that's actually the 100mm bike with a 120 mm fork, and he just didn't want to come out and say that. I'm sure Cannondale would not be tickled if he advertised that to everyone. I understand the bike can be ran with a 100 120, but Cannondalr doesn't have that specific offering, so...
Its the same frame. Scalpel se is 120/120. Same frame, but more travel fork and shock.
👍👍👍👌
"It's a Lab71 our premium blablabla" dude Lab71 is just a sticker, we all know that ;)
75 mm dropper seems pointless
Nice but Cannondale is just nowhere in the XCO competition
I think you should do some research, Alan has been one of the most consistent riders this season, with multiple top 5’s. 🤩
And Mona wins
