I used to learn like he taught when I was in High schools like 15 years back..I didn't know back than that you could learn by attaching to some emotion or motion...I only love to associate things back than and it was way easy to learn all different formulas of chemistry. My memory back than was of elephant one.

As my memory has gotten worse my peace of mind has improved dramatically. The secret is not to worry about your memory getting worse but instead just accept it. I remember a name if it's important' but for 99 out of 100 people there's absolutely no good reason to remember their name. If you are worried about me remembering and/or knowing your name wear a name badge...simple. I tried the word picture association technique...never made the slightest bit of difference. That said my wife finds the technique really useful. I'll stick with using a written shopping list.
I have a memory like an elephant remembering everything and it’s terrible, they calling it eidetic memory or photographic memory. Knowing the medicine they give me when I was pregnant 50 years ago, in detail and knowing things I don’t want to remember. It’s like a film seeing it and can tell it from start and back without any problems. But it’s handy for a lot of people, they forget but I can tell them in detail 😊😊😊😊
@630 - Kelly is right, you switched the list to make it workable. Nice though. The principal is sound as was discovered 50 years ago when memory trees and cues were introduced. (Now I need to look up who it was).
I'm adapting these methods such as taking notes of certain words I've read, skimming, using a guide to, reducing subvocalization and yet after I've read something I barely remember it. Yet my visual memory when it comes to things I've watched, played and experinced is great for the most part, except reading. I don't know why this is and I need help please.
