I'm so grateful that I get to occasionally work with brands I actually like to create sponsored videos. Their direct support helps keep this channel afloat in the ever unstable world of UA-cam ad revenue. These videos will always be disclosed, of course, and I appreciate everyone's kind support for these partnerships. Royalty Soaps also participates in commission or discount affiliations, like Amazon or RewardStyle, as these opportunities become available, like Amazon and RewardStyle and while the money we make with these links isn't much, every little bit counts and once again, we really appreciate your support! These products will always be marked and disclosed with a "✦".
Katie honey, it is NEVER too early for pumpkin spice
I work at a grocery store and myself and a few coworkers had a mini party when we saw some pumpkin spice drinks and candy come in. We got a bunch of stuff on our lunches, split the total and all but RAN to the break room to enjoy.
I politely disagree. But I'm glad you got your PSL at a decent time
Agreed
AMEN
Never had it in my life. Australia probably has it somewhere but I’ve never seen it
"It serves as much function as beauty and magic ever served. They enhance your life and make the mundane things more tolerable." GIRL! I am very much a Type A "Get through my to do list before I can relax" type of woman and sometimes... a lot of times, I forget to look for the magic and whimsy in each day. Thanks for that reminder that not everything needs to be productive and serve a purpose.
It is never too early for Pumpkin Spice. It's a bit of delicious joy in the chaos of life. That's a fantastic soap, Katie.
A+ on making the point that some people need a little help to bathe. Not everyone is the same!
I am loving my 50’s. I feel like it just keeps getting better. I agree that the late 20’s was hard!
I was watching you talk about clients and mental health. I was feeling off, but I still had the Princess Lumpy soap. Looking at that grumpy face and watching it melt away helped me a lot. Now she's just a star shining.
I have been struggling so hard in my late 20s so you have given me hope. I also love that you are a life long learner. I love to learn and since having my 3rd kid I haven’t done as much as I would like and have recently come to realize how much I miss it and would like to make a point to incorporate more of it into my life.
It's never too early to have something that makes you happy!
I live in Arizona; it's too soon for me. I prefer many consecutive days below 100 degrees before I'll even consider autumn. 😂 But it's still fun to watch you make soap!
It's not too early for pumpkin spice! Here in Alaska it's already feeling very Fall like.
I just adore you Katie. You are such a doll!
I just ordered sample bars from you can't wait till I receive them I've been watching you forever your the reason why I wanted to start making soap ❤ all your soaps are so beautiful 😊
I love your explanation of the straw in your soaps it got me through some tough times
Love the look of fall colors! Not a huge pumpkin fan (in food) 😅 these look amazing! Have a great day! 🎃
I feel that the pumpkin embeds are a little too much. I kinda prefer it just with the straws.
Girl. It’s never too early or too late for pumpkin spice!!!!
Pumpkin spice is life. Never too early. 😊
It is hot where I am, also… but that’s what pumpkin cream cold brew is for 🤤
It's NEVER too early for pumpkin spice
Never to early for pumpkin spice
and also am I the only one that has problems taking the straws out of soaps like this? I always just have to use the soap until the frosting goes down enough for me to finally pull it out
Sometimes I want to eat the soap cause of how pretty it is😭
Not me rushing to Mad Micas to know what scandalous name the brown mica powder has that can't be said on camera?
.
.
.
It's just "sexy". The full name is "Sexy Strangers on a Train". That's it. 😶
It's never too early for pumpkin spice
Spooky season starts for us as soon as the last August birthday has been celebrated! Its fall now 😂.
Where is the link for Craftsy?
26 was a really good year for me but 27-30 were BAD. And I hear that a lot. I think it has to do with the fact that they're the "end" years of a decade, and that feels bad and anxious and scary. Especially because it's the first whole decade that we've experienced as adults. Then 30 is a reset and you realize you're not ancient magically overnight and you get to go through the "beginning" of a decade again. (Plus the whole saturn return thing.)
I have a feeling the late-any decade is going to be similar, but hopefully not as foreboding as that first one.
it is never too early for pumpkin spice, imo
The mica is called “Sexy Stranger On A Train” lol
😮😂NEVER TOO EARLY 😊
Too early!!!
Kmart in Australia has Christmas trees out already apparently 🥲🥲 please, please let us have halloween first 🥲🥲🥲🥲
Mix pumpkin purée with spice boxed cake mix, bake, and top with cream cheese frosting. It does not work as soap but it’s delicious :)
This would be a good cooking activity for Will. ❤️
I've done this with milk instead of water and OMG ❤
I make a cake like that. I usually do a round 9" layer cake. Split each cake in half horizontally and spread a thin layer of pumpkin butter between the layers, then frost with cream cheese frosting.
@@terryhowie ooh, pumpkin butter sounds good
My mom makes this in a square pan and cuts them into bars. Lowkey a fall highlight.
Too early for Pumpkin Spice? No, friend. It's never too early for fall. Honestly, it's my favorite season (probably because I'm an October girl) and it always goes by soo fast. I long for crisp autumn mornings, especially since I can't deal well with heat. So yeah...Watching your video, seeing the fall vibes and your cute, delicious looking soap design was really, really soothing!
I know literally no one whose twenties were their best. They SUCKED. And beautiful things made them so much better. Magic and beauty and whimsy are everywhere and I love them so much.
and for someone who went through their late twenties the last few years! I can’t IMAGINE
Katie, I so agree that I love my 30s decade of life. I also got married and had babies in my 20s. So much joy in that season, but a lot of hard things as well when you’re trying to figure out how to balance all the things- being a mom, wife, work, etc. and making decisions that impact your family while also figuring out yourself!
Something changed mentally for me, too when I turned 30 in that it felt like I was a real grown up😂 and being more comfortable in my choices, values, not following trends and investing into relationships that were mutual.
Mental, spiritual and emotional health has been so much better and I’m so grateful ❤️
Cheers to another strong woman embracing their 30s!
There is never a time for pumpkin spice in my world. I don't like it. But to those of you who do, you can have my share. I look forward to apple things in the fall.
It's the perfect time for pumpkin spice!
I love you approach to parenting Katie, an icon and inspiration.
I homeschool my kids as well. I made this decision because I went to Public school and felt as if I was locked in a prison every day of my life. It was very traumatic for me. My kids are thriving at home, pursuing their individual interests as well as getting a well rounded education.
As a fellow homeschooling mom I think the way you're going about it is fantastic. At those ages you don't need to be heavy into academics with them. They learn as much through okay as they do through books and exercises. I love that you're including practical skills too. That's fantastic and it will help with learning math and reading and so many other things too.
So ready for cooler weather (in east Texas) and all things "autumnal." Say it, please!! Ha ha 😂 🤣 YOU SAID IT! Autumnal!!!
As someone with some serious chronic illnesses, showering is part of a massive workout. My heart rate is triple digits for a minimum of 30 minutes. Having an esthetically pleasing soap that smells amazing helps! Also, Katie, are you looking forward to the first "cold front" here in Texas? Temps are dropping into the mid 80's next week! I'm soooooo excited!
I get it. It's something I can't manage most days. It's too painful, and I know I'll spend the next day or two recovering. My sister has a helper 3 days a week, but she's in the UK. Here, it seems SSDI doesn't see our disability the same way, so though the same disease caused us both to lose our jobs, only one of us gets any help. Sigh. At least I can look and and smell the lovely soaps!
Katie, never to early for pumpkin spice!!! 🤎🤎🤎🤎 the earlier the better!! Whenever I see it avaliable anywhere on the menue in coffee or anything specialty I always get it. It's the flavor of fall for me and makes the season. I usually do iced over hot but if it's cold outside I will do hot. Pumpkin spice used to not be my favorite but now I love it. 🤎🤎🤎 comment a brown heart if you are the same way! And comment a pumpkin if you love pumpkin spice!!!!
🙌🏻🤎🤎🤎🍃🎃You got that right !! Pumpkin spice was never my fav for a few years but now I look forward to it starting off the season and really ,I have my own at home all year round if I want.😍👍🏻
It's not too early for pumpkin anything! It's in the upper 90's here and our farm is setting up for pumpkin season! Painting the displays and putting up corn stalks.
Come on FALL! Texas needs you!
It’s never too early for pumpkin spice. If you haven’t tried it, I recommend a recommend pumpkin spice chai latte. I love the soap. They get better every year.
I was just sitting here wishing for a Royalty Soaps video and here you are! Thanks for reading my mind!
Yay! I am here to confess that there are always 4 bars of Royalty Soaps soap being used in my house at any given time (one by the kitchen sink, one by the bathroom sink, two in the shower). We also have liquid soap in those places...We must be soap people. Thank you for making these fun videos, Katie! My sister and I love watching them as much as we like buying, using, and gifting your soaps.
Every single time you say "gently" when cutting the soap, I just hear Westley from the Princess Bride "GENTLY *thunk*"
Sept 1 is always my first day of autumn
The finished soap is great - I'm firmly in the 'it's never a bad time for pumpkin spice' camp - but man, that was a gorgeous caramel colour you initially had there, in a way it's a shame it's going to darken so much.
We have a split house - our oldest is in public school but our youngest is homeschooled. Meeting them where they are at and matching their needs.
The Celsius conversion is much appreciated 😅 my god that’s hot outside!
Pumpkin spice means summer is ending so bring it on as early as you want 😂
To answer the question in the title. Yes. It’s always to early for pumpkin spice. 🤣 I’m a mulled apple cider girl 😁
I munch on the lemon garnish... :)
Some may disagree, and I can respect that, but I am ALWAYS down for giving summer the bum's rush. MORE FALL!
NEVER to early for a nice warm cuddle and a spice latte! Fall is time for family and gathering and lift spirits of home and love! thanks kattie!
I have to agree about turning 30 shifting your mindset. My late twenties were awful, and somehow when I turned 30 three years ago (which I was dreading) it changed my priorities for some reason and I became much more comfortable and happier with myself. I highly recommend turning 30 🎉
I wonder how far you are from UA-camr Oliviareadsalatte? She's focused on reading and coffee. I wonder if the book series themed set of soaps could come from a collaboration?
I started making melt & pour soap in many shapes with silicone molds, I still come back to watch your content every now & then since you were the one to inspire me to make soaps many years ago, I’ve also purchased some of your soap bars when I was a teenager! I’m now 23🥹💗
Pumpkin spice lattes were already available in Starbucks before you put up this video so technically it's not too early lol
Your analogy for comparing the straw to a garnish on food is spot on! I am also a soaper and I use a lot of detail, embeds, intricate designs in my soap. I had a customer who had purchased a number of soaps of mine for her partner who has autism, and they struggle at times to bathe and shower. She purchased a couple of bars from me for them as a Christmas gift last year, and she sent me messages about how her partner is now excited to bathe since getting my bars. They are now repeat customers. What seems like a simple task to some is daunting to others.
I think it hit 115° here yesterday with the heat index, so fall can't get here fast enough! 🥵
cooking is an important life skill every kid needs to learn
man what I wouldn’t give to have my friends live an hour drive away… everyone I know is a full plane ride away 😭 I feel for you! It sucks to have friends move away. I’m glad she’s doing well though
So true. I really miss my friends being close enough to visit. It's great knowing we can chat, but in person is so much better.
good golly miss Katie. You always know just what we all need and say just the right thing. You are so very spot on in this video. Thanks for being you and thanks for the encouragement. You are a truly talented lady. I need to hear all of that today.
I just love your attitude and your outlook on life and things. Oh, and it is NEVER too early for all things autumn!
September 1 starts spook fall season. Not too early lol
Those pumpkins remind me of mellowcreme pumpkins you get with candy corn.
I'm not ready for autumn. It starts on the 21st of September. Until then, I'll enjoy sunshine and swimming as much as I can.
Considering, the soap has to sit for a while to be bought around august? It is not too early. And it looks awesome, so who cares 😉 Question out of curiosity: will your children be attending a "normal" (I hate the word normal... a school, that is not homeschooling) school later on?
Lol! You could always just say "public school", or "public/private" if you really want to cover your bases. Though, as someone who was homeschooled, I always understood what people meant by "normal" school when they asked 🤷♀
I've never had pumpkin spice. I'm not sure I could deal. It sounds nicer than I suspect it is 😆
It’s never to early Katie
I and my family do have a time with self care and self hygiene for health reasons. You doing your thing has help me so much h and my family. I am so glad that you have been able to find the light. I am so glad to hear you are better. Go girl
It's never to early for Pumpkin Spice 🎃
Love the color of that lip gloss with your eye color & skin tone! 🩵🩷
Truly, when I am feeling down or even depressed, giving myself a little treat like using my fancy soap reminds me of the little joys I can seek out.
"This would be great with a pumpkin spice candle." She could actually do a bundle, and if she doesn't have time to do candles in-house she could do a collab and sell the bundle that way
When does secret soap season start? That is my most favorite time of year!!!
When it was 100+ in Houston last week, it was too soon for pumpkin spice anything! But this week is a bit cooler and rainy, so I say, bring it on!
The espresso machine while, yes it’s amazing, it is short lived. The boiler breaks very quickly and the customer service is not great. 😩 I sent my machine in to see what the funny noise was and came back broken and “unfixable” Super sad but live and learn.
🎉after like 5 years of following you I am finally buying soap!!!! Super excited for my pumpkin!!!! 🎉
We just purchased that exact coffee machine and my husband has finally dialed it in. You need to try it, oh my gosh the best flat whites ever!!!
Looking forward to the fall activities and food.
When my kids were young, they were in the kitchen helping out, as they got older, we would have them pick out recipes that they would like to make. They would make it and serve it for dinner. It was always a family affair. At 25 and 28, they still love to cook and still make dinners for the family.
Important to let them taste it and ask what flavors you taste and what you would add or take away from this recipe.
Salty, sweet, unami, texture, all those things. Your children are so lucky to have you as a mom!!!!
The problem with Japan is they bring out pumpkin spice JUST FOR SEPTEMBER!!! What the heck!? Why!? It’s fine to start in September but at least prepare enough to stretch it through October!!!
Loved this Katie! Loved your sharing about education. You're kids are lucky. You're awesome! Loved the bit about mental health. Super important. And as always your creation is amazingly fun to watch! Gorgeous.
You’re talking about making it a little easier to take a shower for someone who for whatever reason struggles with that, it makes so much difference. I have ordered so many of your soaps and there have been many days where that was the difference in being able to shower and not being able to. Terminal illness and depression make everything so SO much harder than it should be. Thank you, for seeing us. For giving us the little things that help so much. It makes all the difference in our lives. Thank you. ❤
Loved your pumpkin spice soap! My son works at Starbucks and he let us know when the Pumpkin Spice was officially coming back for the season. It was August 22 or 23rd if I remember correctly. I a, not into pumpkin spice lattes but I would LOVE one of your soaps! That would be amazing!!!❤❤❤
Not too early. I'm in Alberta Canada and leaves are changing and dropping and we already have frosty mornings!
Its not too early for PSL but it's DEFINITELY NOT autumn now. August is still summer, I don't care when schools start. Autumn doesn't start until Sept 1.
It's always too early for Pumpkin Spice...but that's just me because I do not like everything pumpkin. I am happy for all you Pumpkin Spice lovers...now don't come at me if I put up my Christmas tree up and start the Christmas music in October. Deal?
Homeschooling was the best decision we ever made! We switched in 2021, it's all my daughter has ever known and she's in 3rd grade now, and my son is now in 7th and he never wants to go back to brick and mortar school. I was horrible at math when I was in school and I'm learning it all right alongside him, it's so exciting. They're involved in so many more activities than if they had to spend six hours a day at the schools down the road! And they love being able to participate in my own crafting too, we experiment and just have fun failing and seeing where our imagination takes us.
I love pumpkin chai ❤❤❤ and my 20s were ROUGH. So full of self doubt, and finding myself. I definitely had some growing pains into adulthood but now that im 32 i feel so much more confident and secure in myself! Im so excited for the next decade of life ❤
Your soap is so calming, relaxing and just well you said it first " dreamy" !!!!
That well known company is already selling Pumpkin Spice Latte's and yes I've had three this week along with my pumpkin loaf. Honestly, it's never too early, it gets me excited for Halloween my favorite holiday.
Although we've had unseasonably cold and wet weather for a couple of weeks I am NOT ready for fall!!! Of course , I'm never ready for the Big Dark here in the PNW
Absolutely not! It’s 101 here & the dollar sore has mini doughnuts in pumpkin spice… yep bought some for that morning coffee! Beautiful soap!
Absolutely love it! I don’t even drink coffee- it makes me shake like an anxious chihuahua!!! But I love the cutesy pumpkin spice things & the smell🥰🤎🎃
My late 20s were the best. I just turned 34 and I’m in a terrible place - but I live with my inlaws in another country so 😂😂😂
