I imagine a fruitcake soap - brown soap base with chopped-up soap cane in dark red, green, and yellow, fluffy white soap frosting, and spring of holly imbeds. The scent would be spices and dried fruit. 😊
I've started making my own boba. You can buy the pearls and then throw them in boiling water to soften them. Then I make a cherry acai smoothie with vanilla protein powder and pour the smoothie over my cooled boba pearls. It's amazing!
Even a clay extruder with soap dough. Extrude a few using the round attachment. And then scatter them in the soap. Put a couple down, add a thin layer of soap, add a couple more, then another layer of soap. Then when she cut the soap, the boba would round.
I've seen people use smoothie straws to make soap canes, it reads exactly as boba pearls but with the length of the soap molds RS uses, abs the volume they make, I'm not sure how easy that method would be
A few years ago I watched and rewatched your videos on a daily basis for several months. Then my life changed and I didn't had as much time and somehow I really lost track. But now I watched two videos of you (thanks to the youtube algorhythm) and I just love being back. Some things never change and I just love that you are still the same, sweet, cheery person!!! Thanks Katie for kinda making my day!!!
My son is sitting here repeating "Mango tea! [with dragon fruit boba]" he loves the dragon fruit pieces instead of boba, and it's still often square chunks ;) but it would be fun if you could get the circles to lay on the whole design and make it look like popping boba then too :D
Can you use actual boba straws as a small cylindrical molds? Then the boba would be the right size. Not sure if they would be difficult to unmold. Maybe freeze them or heat them up and push out with a small dowel?
What if you put the square "boba" in a rock tumbler 🤔. Would it smooth them enough to become spheres? A video trying the different ideas that people mentioned for making round "boba" would be fun :)
Thai milk tea is sooooo good and it would translate to soap sp well especially seeing the dark burnt orange color into stark white swirled soap! Haha would be amazing to see 😊
I highly suggest trying actual taro powder in soap! :D One of my favorite bars, the sugar makes it suuuuper bubbly. It was half taro and half tea leaf scrub, the only bad part is the deep green from the tea side would leach into the taro. ;;
I never bought a soap from you but one day i will! I love watching your videos and they are so informative and funny and i just love how animated you are! Like a big sister teaching us how to make soap😆❤️❤️❤️❤️
brown sugar boba tea is always a great option but if you have a place that does crème brûlée boba tea, I would highly recommend that!! one place I went to had matcha oreo crème brûlée boba and it was to die for! also I would recommend the custard! it slaps!
Go-to boba tea order: Taro milk tea with an earl-grey base if possible with brown sugar tapioca bubbles, if I can't have tapioca bubbles, I'll take the lychee flavored ones! As of program of the day, it's mainly studying (last year in french-canadian college!)
I love how excited katie was about this soap, and it's such a cute bar 😭 my usual boba tea order is half strawberry milk tea and half matcha with fruity popping pearls! sometimes i get a banana milk tea with those fruity pearls also though. usually the pearls are strawberry or something like that!
My go-to order is Taro and coconut together! Try that. I always think it tastes like a sweet gingerbread Christmas cookie. That kind of scent would go perfect with Taro.
Coconut-taro is a favourite. Another go-to of mine is black sesame milk tea (with a crème brûlée topping!), the savoury undertones from the sesame complement the sweetness so well!
My go to boba in the morning is a classic brown sugar milk tea with tapioca boba. If it’s late at night, a white peach tea boba with lychee jelly!! So yummy!
I think the squares are alright! :) it still looks just like a drink, and it reminds me of the jelly topping you can get. Have you ever had it? “Grass jelly” isn’t my favourite but I like the coconut version :)
My mom, sister, and I LOVE getting boba together! My order is a strawberry black tea with boba, my mom gets just passion fruit tea, and my sister gets passion fruit with rainbow jelly. The rainbow jelly would be perfect for your soaps since it comes in little rectangles! Unrelatedly, I helped my mom make her first soap project tonight: melt and pour shampoo bars! The three of us have been watching every video together for years now, and she needed a shampoo for camping! Normally, I would do it, but I live too far away. I had some supplies at her house and I walked her through it. I told her you’d be proud haha
Love this soap it is pretty. I finally got out of the kitchen into my spare room. However, I need to finish my table top before I can make soap and paint again. I am waiting for tape so I can tape off the parts I want to paint and stain the parts of the wood I want to keep natural. Then I will coat it with resin. So it will be a while yet.
Try the taro flavor. These are pretty. I have to finish my craft table so I can make soap and paint again. I am finally setting up my studio. I got out of the kitchen 😅
They are so cute! I honestly get different flavor bubble teas all of the time (it absolutely must have the tapioca bobas) my favorites so far are the taro, brown sugar, or strawberry :) I once tried avocado and it was um... it wasn't bad but it was certainly interesting!
You should try the Brown Sugar Milk tea or Thai Milk tea. They would both look great as soaps, especially the Brown Sugar, with a nice dark brown swirl as the sugar.
Definitely need to make and try a brown sugar milk tea they’re so good and I’ve of my faves. Plus I think putting like a sandy/textured swirl in the soap could look really cool
Thai tea boba inspired soap would smell great. Might have to do a custom blend. It would have notes of spices like cardamom and anise, orange, and black tea.
My favorite aside from traditional boba milk tea would be Honeydew Milk tea with egg pudding...it's sooooo good! My teen loves Strawberry milk tea with the brown sugar boba❤
I like milk tea with mango flavoring, and if I can get lychee jelly that's a nice side bonus- mango plus lychee is overall a great combo. I also like the milk tea made with black tea and brown sugar syrup. Very classic and traditional, that. But one of the multiple bubble tea places in my neighborhood recommended that the first time I went there, and it's so good that now whenever I do happen their way it's typically what I get. I also had one once at one of the other spots where the milk tea was made with honey oolong, and that was so delicious. I really need to find some of that in loose leaf form so I can make it at home.
The result is soo cute! Love the sunken ice cubes especially, they were such a great idea! (I had some Taro boba months ago, wansn't a fan of the flavor tho, I'll be honest. Kinda tasted like...a Popcorn jellybean? I looove brown sugar boba tho. And Matcha. Sooo good!).
My go to order is a rose oolong milk tea with boba, sooooo gooood. It's so pretty too cause it's like a vibrant rose with streaks of the creamy milk going down until I mix it 🤤
This bubble tea soap is to cute!! The colors are spot on 👌 Another bubble tea that could be turned into a soap is a unicorn bubble tea. Some places around my area have this drink during summer. We used to go to a bubble tea place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada! For reference and based off the tea here's and idea that could be turned into a soap. It's cute pastel colors like pink, blue and purple with a cheese foam frosted top (you could even give it a little unicorn horn and ears for the soap version). Maybe even add in some irredenscent sparkles to the cheese foam frosting topping. The fragrance could either be a cotton candy or a berry mix! Either way I think this would be adorable! Lastly we can't forget the boba bubbles too! The boba bubbles would be at the bottom part of the soap. Thanks so much Katy and hope you have an incredible day! 😊
You know, if you make your own boba at home, you can make it square. I like that your bobas are square, makes them unique. 😊 On you crochet I totally understand about the granny square. I tried to do one so many times and just couldn't get it right. Thankfully I just asked my mom to help me, and after that I was good to go on those. Funny enough, patterns that are said to be harder I have less trouble with. (So long as there's not a mistake in said pattern.) Good luck and lots of fun with your crochet journey!
I have so many favorite boba tea choices. Thai milk tea is in my top 3 but what I usually order is caramel macchiato slush with coffee popping bubbles. All flavors of popping bubbles are really good.
I don't actually like the boba pearls, so my go-to order at boba shops, if it's available, is thai tea with the pudding in it! (And it's not actual pudding texture like we would normally think, it's closer to jello consistency.) Literally one of the best tasting things I've ever had in my life.
Hi Katie, wow, people are really udset about those square boba! Here's a constuctive idea: how about using rods of soap for the boba? Like the heart shaped embeds you used for the Valentines soap, it would be a lot easier than using the blueberry or gumball molds (seriously, nobody got the time to make that many embeds!) but when you cut the soap it will give you that round profile. One way to make them could be to use thick smoothie straws as molds and pour you soap batter as runny as possible, obviously closing one end of the straws. Lisa from I dream in soap also has some amazing tutorials on using soapdough and extruding embeds in basically any shape imaginable.. Hope you percieve this as a 'I want to help' rather than a critique, because I really am impressed with your work!
Something in between - Coconut Taro with Lychee! I think your pieces look more like those than the boba pearls and if you do them you can make them rainbow colors!
My favorite is Thai Tea Boba. My son likes the mango one. My husband and daughter do not like boba(I know). They always get the boba without the tapioca balls.
I've been talking about this all week but a dirty boba or a thi tea with coffee jelly if you like coffee. Ohhh I like the coconut with rainbow Boba yummy 😋

Thank you!
Thank you I upgraded to gold for $6 super awesome
I would buy the heck out of a Thai tea boba soap!! Alternately a dirty/tiger (brown sugar) would be awesome!
Agree to both!!! ❤️
Thai tea boba is my favorite!!! i would love to see a soap of that
Thai iced milk tea with mango jelly. I love it to bits.
Agreed! Thai tea boba!😋🤤😊
Oooh and maybe Chai scent it?
Matcha strawberry latte! Then you can have green and white and pink bands, with or without boba.
Chocolate cookie soap sounds like such a cute Christmas soap. Like, a whole holiday treats run of soap.
I imagine a fruitcake soap - brown soap base with chopped-up soap cane in dark red, green, and yellow, fluffy white soap frosting, and spring of holly imbeds. The scent would be spices and dried fruit. 😊
The little Debbie Christmas tree cakes soap bar😱😭
@@muahmichelle_ YES!!
I've started making my own boba. You can buy the pearls and then throw them in boiling water to soften them. Then I make a cherry acai smoothie with vanilla protein powder and pour the smoothie over my cooled boba pearls. It's amazing!
Butterfly pea flower tea with a squeeze of lemon and crystal boba! (The tea is a sky blue that turns pink with the addition of acid!)
This would be so cute!!!!
That's my go to as well!!
Couldn't you use your soap gumball mold for the Boba?
Yes, I was puzzled by that as well. Maybe they don't come small enough?
Yeah, they might be too big
I feel like she'd need it half size (if not smaller) to read as boba.

I cant wait for secret soap series 2024!!!!!!!! 😊
Can you use actual boba straws as a small cylindrical molds? Then the boba would be the right size. Not sure if they would be difficult to unmold. Maybe freeze them or heat them up and push out with a small dowel?
Honeydew boba tea is my go to everyy timeee 💚 i think a soap with a sweet melon scent would be dope 😁
A traditional brown sugar milk tea would be a good addition to the bobas.
What if you put the square "boba" in a rock tumbler 🤔. Would it smooth them enough to become spheres? A video trying the different ideas that people mentioned for making round "boba" would be fun :)
To be honest, they would probably disintegrate
It looks so good! My all time favorite is Thai milk tea! It's sweet and almost fruity, with hints of warm spices, just so good 🤤
Thai milk tea is sooooo good and it would translate to soap sp well especially seeing the dark burnt orange color into stark white swirled soap! Haha would be amazing to see 😊
Your bubbly personality is infectious. I love your cheerful and happy demeanor. And of course, the soap making was a real treat as always.
I highly suggest trying actual taro powder in soap! :D
One of my favorite bars, the sugar makes it suuuuper bubbly. It was half taro and half tea leaf scrub, the only bad part is the deep green from the tea side would leach into the taro. ;;
oh yeah! I bet taro powder would add amazing lather! Thanks for the idea.
Funnily enough, I always go for the taro milk tea with the tapioca pearls. I think it tastes the best out of the ones I've tried.
I never bought a soap from you but one day i will! I love watching your videos and they are so informative and funny and i just love how animated you are! Like a big sister teaching us how to make soap😆❤️❤️❤️❤️
brown sugar boba tea is always a great option but if you have a place that does crème brûlée boba tea, I would highly recommend that!! one place I went to had matcha oreo crème brûlée boba and it was to die for! also I would recommend the custard! it slaps!

Chocolate chip cookie soaaaaaaap!
I love how excited katie was about this soap, and it's such a cute bar 😭 my usual boba tea order is half strawberry milk tea and half matcha with fruity popping pearls! sometimes i get a banana milk tea with those fruity pearls also though. usually the pearls are strawberry or something like that!
Useing the cubes, such a simple and perfect solution! This soap looks so good 😊
My go-to order is Taro and coconut together! Try that. I always think it tastes like a sweet gingerbread Christmas cookie. That kind of scent would go perfect with Taro.
Rose milk tea is my usual. Extra bonus is rose milk cheese tea! It’s a thick creamy (kinda like cream cheese) slightly salted cream on top. So good!
Lychee!!! I usually have a strawberry lychee tea--it is my ultimate favorite and the smell is fruity and flowery--it's perfect.
My go to boba is usually either honeydew or rose flavored. I like the peach and strawberry popping pearls mixed in and it’s sooooo good
Could you use the cane moulds and then chop them up, then they would have the round appearance on the cut
Coconut-taro is a favourite. Another go-to of mine is black sesame milk tea (with a crème brûlée topping!), the savoury undertones from the sesame complement the sweetness so well!
Thai tea is my go to and would make a great soap. Brown on bottom with black Boba, vibrant orange middle layer and white milk layer with ice.
Thai Tea is my go to! It’s such a pretty orange color too
My go to boba in the morning is a classic brown sugar milk tea with tapioca boba.
Taro is my fav!! But lavender or lavender vanilla are pretty good, it’s not too floral like the rose tea but just enough I think :)
My go to is brow sugar milk tea boba with black tea. It’s super basic but so good! Or the triple peach from Gong Cha if you want fruity
I told her you’d be proud haha
black tea base, oat milk or dairy free creamer, brown sugar syrup and brown sugar pearls - HOT, its gotta be hot not iced for me no matter the weather
This soap is so cute!! Loooove the square bobas lol. I haven't had boba tea in awhile but last time I did, I loved the mango passionfruit yummm.
The ice looks so good! My go-to order is passion fruit lychee tea with mango popping!
Coconut taro mixed flavor is awesome!! Or taro with coconut cream walls yum!
Definitely need to make and try a brown sugar milk tea they’re so good and I’ve of my faves. Plus I think putting like a sandy/textured swirl in the soap could look really cool
This is cute! I would never drink chunky tea (people like what they like), but this soap is adorable.
Thai tea boba inspired soap would smell great. Might have to do a custom blend. It would have notes of spices like cardamom and anise, orange, and black tea.
Hokkaido milk tea, half sweet, with salted foam is my go to. So delicious 😊
My favorite aside from traditional boba milk tea would be Honeydew Milk tea with egg pudding...it's sooooo good! My teen loves Strawberry milk tea with the brown sugar boba❤
My go to boba tea is the Gold Foil Brown Sugar Boba Milk. They cover the top with edible gold foil! It's so yummy.
I like milk tea with mango flavoring, and if I can get lychee jelly that's a nice side bonus- mango plus lychee is overall a great combo. I also like the milk tea made with black tea and brown sugar syrup. Very classic and traditional, that. My go to order is a rose oolong milk tea with boba, sooooo gooood. It's so pretty too cause it's like a vibrant rose with streaks of the creamy milk going down until I mix it 🤤
A winter melon milk tea is delicious 😋. Love the theme, you've inspired me to get boba, soap and crafting xx
This bubble tea soap is to cute!! The colors are spot on 👌
Another bubble tea that could be turned into a soap is a unicorn bubble tea. Some places around my area have this drink during summer. We used to go to a bubble tea place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada!

Thanks so much Katy and hope you have an incredible day! 😊
I recently had a Strawberry Milk Tea, with Honey Boba Bubbles! It was a staff recommendation and it blew my mind! New favourite for sure!
Jasmine milk tea boba! I adore the soap design, it’s so cute! ^^
Mango fruit tea with strawberry popping boba is my go to! Also lychee jelly Yum!
I have been loving stawberry matcha with oat milk! It has been very refreshing on these hot summer days!
This collection is adorable ❤
You know, if you make your own boba at home, you can make it square. I like that your bobas are square, makes them unique. 😊

This is a really very pretty soap!! Great job!!!!
This soap is so cute! I'm pretty boring when I go with my daughter for boba. I get an Earl Grey Milk Tea without boba. But I love it.
Taro milk tea with crystal pearl or kiwi gteen tea with aloe vera or a peach green tea with mango popping. I basically rotate around those 3.
Honey lemon boba tea is the best! It’s a jasmine green tea base, honey, lemon slices and strawberry boba
taro is def one of my favorites, but if you like the fruitier ones like that coconut, try melon or honeydew! they are usually SOOO GOOD
I have so many favorite boba tea choices. Thai milk tea is in my top 3 but what I usually order is caramel macchiato slush with coffee popping bubbles. All flavors of popping bubbles are really good.
You definitely need to do some sort of fruit tea! I always do something strawberry or peach with the popping and regular bubbles
Rosehip Boba tea is my favorite. So good!
i love getting sakura rose boba tea--its delicious and pink! my fave color :)
looks awesome! glad to see you back on my feed!
Id say butterfly pea or red bean flavor! Either would be super fun! And i think could make for cool color palattes
I don't actually like the boba pearls, so my go-to order at boba shops, if it's available, is thai tea with the pudding in it! (And it's not actual pudding texture like we would normally think, it's closer to jello consistency.) Literally one of the best tasting things I've ever had in my life.
Strawberry and also mango are my favs!
If u like the coconut boba maybe try the almond one or keep the tropical feel going with mango.
Your soaps are always beautiful!😇❤️
WOW these are amazing! Bravo you all are so creativity!
Lavender jasmine milk tea with coconut boba, is my go to. Pretty soap
You should do the one that you say is your favorite boba. That would be cool to see how you interpret it in soap form
My favourite is mango boba, brown sugar is also very good 💕
Something in between - Coconut Taro with Lychee! I think your pieces look more like those than the boba pearls and if you do them you can make them rainbow colors!
My favorite is the black milk tea boba, but during the spring and summer, I really like the Sakura boba tea.
My favorite is Thai Tea Boba. My son likes the mango one. My husband and daughter do not like boba(I know). They always get the boba without the tapioca balls.
Love that you learned to crochet! Welcome to the club!
Thai milk tea but with mango jelly, if available. I tend to get jelly instead if tapioca for texture reasons.
I've been talking about this all week but a dirty boba or a thi tea with coffee jelly if you like coffee. Ohhh I like the coconut with rainbow Boba yummy 😋
Passion fruit green or black tea is ALWAYS my go to
Jasmine milk tea is the Boba Tea I got today :3 The place I go, their House Milk Tea tastes just like Earl Grey Tea ❤️
My favourite boba to order is honeydew with lychee jelly or agar agar pearls!
would love to see an orange colored Thai Tea!!
Ooh I get jasmine tea w/almond milk, 50% sugar and either grass jelly or a light scoop of boba topping 😋
Almond or brown sugar are my favorite boba teas!
My standard order is a brown sugar milk tea, which I think would be amazing as a soap!
there are a few I go for:
Winter Mellon
Coffee with Boba and Cheese Cap
Tiger Chai with Coffee Jelly
I'm rather fond of lavender milk tea with boba. I know it's not everyone's thing, though! This soap came out great. ^^
I always get coffee milk tea 25% sweetness and pudding along with the boba in the bottom.
My go to is strawberry matcha, especially if the boba shop using strawberry compote rather than syrup/powder
so pretty
