The 20V engine was brought to the US, but never in the Ur-Quattro. Ur-S4's and S6's had it, as well as the Audi 200.

I owned a Jet Black Ur-Quattro here in the states about 15 years ago for around 5 years. I had modified it with a TEIN suspension, aftermarket parts, a bigger HKS turbo, and a tune at 450whp. I was 18 with money to burn and got it for a steal from a first owner older gentlemen. Ive always loved rally, cars in general, and worked on them alot plus I still do to this day. It had All the loud turbo, wastegate, blow off valve noises you could here from blocks away and it got lots of looks by people. Lets just say I got offered I couldnt refuse and sold it but god I miss that car. Right now one of my projects is converting an old E30 into a M style E30 with the replica widebody kit. Im planning on a 1JZ swap since 2Js are overpriced now and 500whp is is easy to achieve reliably with a 1JZ and more than enough for a street build. Theyre great motors and get overlooked because everyone wants a 2J.

@@TheEryk03 it's not them fault: they actually try hard saying non-English words correctly (some times making them even harder to understand) and we can appreciate the effort, but every language has it way even to pronunciate the alphabet....

I REALLY wanted to rebuttable the title statement, because I do indeed think Audi would exist without the S1 Quattro, I just think it would be in a VERY different way. So, I wouldn't mind you guys doing a video of B2B on the B5 chassis (S4 or RS4 since they are the stupid fast and definitely the best of the B5s) considering that the B5 genuinely saved Audi from going under after the 100 and 5000 sudden acceleration scandal. In fact, the B5 was so good that even after all of that, with the the 100s and 5000s selling terribly the B5 managed to sell almost 120,000 units in its first year.

You're thinking of the sport quattro, this car is not nearly as impressive (technology wise) nor expensive.

A shop near my hometown has restored two of them and saw them at a car show like two years ago, amazing machines to see and than he mentioned that they were half-a-million the piece. Crazy and there were like 4 of them there

The more of these videos that Jeremiah does the better they are. I think he's getting more comfortable and kind of forming his own style (along with the writers writing him differently than James.) James is great but I like the informational aspect of this series without all the extra stuff but it still has funny edits and Jeremiah's own jokes. Keep up the good work guys!

That's an understatement, the Wankel rotary engine was designed by NSU. Felix Wankel designed his rotary engine for NSU.

Very sexy car. Audi's of that era had a nice feel to them. When I was about 10 my mom drove a Audi 80. It was a 4 speed manual and it had those little swing open windows that latched shut. Good memories
