Im really young and dont plan on having children, but seeing content like this makes me happy that others who may be struggling with insecurities can come accross this and feel normal. Every body is different, and especially after being pregnant and giving birth, the body is going to look different from what it did before. Ik that there's a lot of pressure for moms to "snap back" as soon as possible after they give birth, but thats not possible for a lot of people. I think we need more content like this to go against the societal idea that moms have to look a certain way, especially after giving birth.
That was so brave of you to do!...You look amazing, you are stunning, and confident! All that really matters is that you gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby! 💖
Thank you for sharing your post pregnancy body. I had the same stomach as you when pregnant with stretch marks and as a 19 year old who had just given birth to an unplanned pregnancy i was so upset about my new body. You only ever see post pregnancy bodies with no stretch marks and no excess skin all perfectly pinged back.. this has made me so happy to see!❤❤❤
I am 30 years old and have not had any children yet this is so amazing that you are showing this experience for mothers to know and for not mothers to experience this with you congratulations on the news baby girl Please continue on posting on more updates
Those stretch marks are beautiful. They prove your wonderful child was in there, being created by your body. Truly a work of art! I love your acceptance of them- made me smile!
I don’t want to be rude or something but when baby is that young you need to hold his/her head because it can swing back or forwards and injury his/her neck Hope it helps😁 Sorry for bad english😅
Women get so bombarded with messages telling them they have to look *perfect* to be valuable/worthy of love. To me, this is beauty. You brought LIFE into this world. What is more beautiful than that?!
This is definitely a good thing to be sharing! I still can’t believe people go through this to have a child! We need more people showing the true and harsh reality of having children!
It's a lot of self-sacrifice. Motherhood is not something to be taken lightly at all. I'm 27 and definitely going through baby fever, but I could never just make this choice on a whim. It's a lot of responsibility for a lifetime. It's beautiful to see mothers who find fulfillment in their new role though.
Thank you so much. I'm nearly 5m postpartum and I've been so upset with how much my body has changed, and wondering why everybody else has seemed to avoid stretch marks besides me. You're not alone, thank you for being so brave and embracing it✨️
You look beautiful 😍 thank you for showing natural postpartum instead of a flat stretch mark free stomach like some influencers 🙄I still get down sometimes about my stretch marks 😢but she is worth it ❤
YESS thank you for sharing and normalizing women/mothers bodies after giving birth, i feel like its not talked and normalized enough. Women’s bodies are miracles the way they can adapt to carry a whole new human and then how they change after. I wish on NO mother to be ashamed of the changes that a baby brings to their bodies, you are all beautiful and strong dont let anyone bring you down ❤❤❤
You’re so gorgeous ❤ love the body positivity- everyone should love their bodies, even though it can be tough sometimes..so seeing you come online talking about this makes me so happy ❤
Stretchmarks happen i believe because your body cant produce enough collagen to produce a healthy "stretch" because youre growing too fast. This is why many mothers have them. However, you will also have them if you gain a lot of muscle or fat. Its important to moisturize your skin regularly and i believe there are collagen supplements but many people think ONLY PREGNANT PEOPLE HAVE STRETCHMARKS. 100% not true. A fallacy. A lie. They are normal. They are beautiful. And they will fade to a nicer looking colour than an angry red. Also, Nobldy told me they would be ITCHY. But they are because theyre essentially a healing wound. Try your best not to scratch. I can tell im gaining stretchmarks atm because my inner thighs and inner arms especially are itchy constantly. I get no relief. But also, places like your vulva can and do get stretchmarks. Close to your butthole. Your hips. Your breasts. Etc. They're normal, but annoying. You're not alone and your body is not ruined. They are little reminders to moisturize and get your collagen in!
i'm currently 17 weeks w our first child and starting to notice body changes. it's such a weird experience! thank you for normalizing your experience bc i may get stretch marks too and i want to be just as confident in my skin as i am now. i think when the time comes i'll know it was worth it and a sacrifice i'm obviously willing to make hahah

If you need someone else to make you feel "comfortable " you have self esteem issues that wouldn't just be resolved by this but need therapy.
