FRA came out with a vengeance on Saturday, amazing starts! That match racing before the 4th race was what put them playing catch-up the whole race. A shame their rally ended like that. But congrats to ESP on the final win!
They got so close! But this season ended in SF like it started in LA- Spain made a final nobody expected them to and then blew everyone away.

The format of the “Grand Final” needs a complete overhaul. A grand final should be a full event (as it is in every other sport with the same format) which in the case of Sail GP, should have been all of this last weekends races. To only have a fraction of one event to decide a champion is stupid IMO. It’s like having a Super Rugby grand final but only playing to half time! Rant over 😜
It’s no different to having finals in a championship
Compared to football for example where all the competing teams played in the final match.
