Sweet Abby, I can still feel the raw pain in your voice as I have traversed this scene many times with my own furry and feathered kids. It's never easy to lose the pets we love, however, it does hurt less as time goes on. You need to take the time to grieve her loss and remember all her specialness. I grieve a long time over my pets, a year minimum for the joy they have brought to me. I grieve for as long as I need and want to and let nobody tell me otherwise. Delightful to see your family on both sides of the world celebrating. Happy and prosperous New Year to all. Now, a question as I’ve seen live trees used in a couple other videos made in Europe. None seem to have any sort of brace for watering trees brought indoors Christmas trees. Do Europeans not water Christmas trees? From childhood into senior citizenship, we’ve always kept them well-watered while indoors. The trees stay fresher and last longer when watered. Afterwards we save a few branches for spring burning, and give the rest of the tree, sans tinsel, icicles and decorations to a local goat farm.
