Love everything. Since you are no longer hanging laundry might I suggest some sort of a plant screen along that side of the terrace for shade and privacy? Your dishes were worth the wait. Enjoy!
@@carolchisholm433 I agree about the plant trellis :)
A privacy screen on the old wash line side of the deck is a great idea and can be made of a metal screening nowadays with a pattern of your choosing, not requiring any watering while giving you a more intimate space. Beautiful property Julie.
Im so happy for you and your family, Julie. You do need sun and a break from gloomy England once in a while. The house is just darling. You have done such a wonderful job with restoration and improvement.! Well done! Its warm and welcoming and so cute!
Thank you so much!
Nestor is adorable! lol Hope he knows he has many fans.
He must already know hahaha both William and Nestor 🫰🏻🫰🏻🫰🏻
Honestly I think the sofa makes the kitchen look so warm and inviting! I love it! 💙
I think so too!
Maybe catch a nap 💤 there too.
Your Italian home is beautiful! I have loved watching the progress from the beginning!
Stunning transformation. Well done Julie. All your up cycles are true finds
What a little masterpiece! Just love your perfect little home away from home.
OMG, Julie, I love, love, love it! I've watched ALL your Little Italian House videos & have enjoyed the amazing transformation! I am SO happy for you! ( I am more than just a little envious!) I wish you & your family warm, comforting & many happy times in your beautiful Italian home! 🥂 Chin, Chin!! ❤
Thank you soooo much!!!
Stunning!! What an exquisite collection of art, antiques & home furnishings. .Each room has a warmth & cosiness feel about them. The hand painted crockery was the piece de resistance
Just a few suggested finishing touches:
1. A throw rug over the sofa in the kitchen/dining room with colour accents of the grey & sage,
2. Outdoor umbrellas for the balcony & a terracotta outdoor fireplace, making the outdoor space more comfortable during both the summer & winter seasons.
Thank you for sharing your journey. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching your beautiful Italian family home come to life.
How wonderful it is to hop on a train to & from Paris on the same day, with 8 hours to do whatever you & your daughter wish!
Love the rusty bath tub, perfectly imperfect.
Love the couch in the kitchen area. The kitchen can be the heartbeat of the home.
Everything turned out so well! The house, even though it is small, feels so comfortable thru the camera lens. I just hope you and your family get there as often as possible. You deserve down time at this beautiful home, giving your crazy schedule. Brava, Brava, perfecto! ❤
What a difference! The space really came together and is not only beautiful, but wonderfully functional. The bathroom and kitchen are palatial for a townhome of that size.
Thanks so much! 😊
I love that you find a lot for your home at flea markets! I too love the flea markets and consignment shops here in the Midwest, makes interiors interesting and saves things from going to the dump. 😊 well done, it’s beautiful and warm and welcoming.
Hi Julie, I love what you have done with your piccolo casa! You could put up a trelise on the left side of your outdoor terrace and grow a beautiful climbing plant along it to give yourself a little privacy from your neighbours while you are sitting out there.
Julie you are extremely talented at decorating with new and old objects found all over the world. Also, the craftsmen you hired in Italy were also very skilled and offered good advise on many projects. It turned out beautifully. Hope you and your family enjoys many happy days in this Little Italian House.
Oh thank you!
Love your little Italian house , and look forward to you being there when all done. Best wishes for a great New Year 2025
Awesome progress! You need a privacy screen with vines or trees on your deck, on side opposite the olive trees so your eye goes to view rather than mechanical units on next door balcony. I lived in Milan and we used Camellia trees serviced by drip system. Entry table- center under painting. boys room - indian fabric hanging behind each headboard that becomes a simple awning style canopy made with bamboo rods hanging from ceiling. master bed needs Euros to soften headboard. Living room needs some modern elements for juxtaposition to all the antique & scroll/florals. kitchen - move the painting down slightly closer to couch back to reduce gap. Just ideas but stunning Julie! You are amazing.
Thank you soooo much!!!
I always think the same about the balcony, if I lived there I would absolutely make it a bit more private. I can envision it in my head, it would be so lovely 😀
If your neighbors are friendly as I am very friendly I love it open to be able to communicate 😂
House looks amazing , totally gives me a relaxing vibe!
Everything looks beautiful. Love your plates.
Lovely Italian home! You did a wonderful job with updating the space. Congratulations 👏
Thanks so much! 😊
Such a beautiful place you all have created! And the dishes are just gorgeous!
The house is absolutely darling, brava!🤗
I love the couch in the kitchen! My family always wants to hang around me while I'm cooking and what a comfy way to do it.
Hi! Love the ‘tour’. The glasses with the bee are from a glass factory in France that has existed since the year 1475. La Rochère.❤
My husband’s cabinet maker Carpenter. When he works in old houses if they have door knobs removed, bring them to me like the whole door thing in the back with the knob. Some of them are crystal and I kind of restore them and use them for hooks one for my purse they’re beautiful.
Darling little house; you've done so much with it. You are clearly creative and imaginative. I love buying second hand and finding new ways to use things. The thrill of the hunt!
so beautiful! I love the "flamboyant" cushion from Indian, the colors and pattern are just GORGEOUS and they work in any room. happy new year 🩷
I love the way you decorated your home, including the white "hutch" in the kitchen where you are now storing your new hand painted dishes.
Thank you so much 😊
Julie you have done an awesome job with your little Italian house, I’ve bee watching you on your journey from the beginning. ❤️
Thank you so much!
Your little Italian house is lovely! I think the bathtub
Is great… good choice. I thought the flowery cushion on your sofa in the kitchen was lovely, apparently others didn’t!
Enjoy your house - how you want to decorate/live is your choice. Everyone has an opinion & the only one that matters is yours.
Oh thank you!
In some of the automotive restoration community, they will go over slight rust as well as the original paint, seal it, and call that patina, just like the tub. I like the look on the tub, people have different likes, but that's why we are all different. The whole place looks quite nice, i see why family and friend's like to hang out there.
G-d bless, and a happy new hear.
So beautiful and comfortable and well put together with all of your flea market finds. "The hunt"! There's so much fun in the hunting of pieces for our homes, isn't there. You do eclectic so well. As for the couch in the kitchen...so interesting that it seemed controversial, as it's wonderful to have a comfy place for friends and family to gather while you're cooking and not be away in the other room. I love it! A wonderful choice, and I can see many, many gatherings in that hospitable kitchen in your future.
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Sooo excited to see your new dishes👏👏👏👏👏 . I love them! You (and Malcom) knocked that place out of the park😀
Yay! Thank you!
Perhaps some plate hangers could affix to the back of the dish cabinet to showcase some more of the dishes…
Everything looks great!
The house looks absolutely beautiful. I love Italy.
Thank you for a complete tour! I must have missed the episode where you found the marble for the coffee table. It's beautiful, and my favorite tiles are the kitchen backsplash. Love your Italian house!!💕
Julie you need a big metal sun or fish or something above the drinks table on the terrazzo ❤
Love your wonderful hutch and pottery. Your little Italian house is now a home. Wishing you a good new year full of more trips to the shops and bargains.
Your little house is just wonderful. You have done and incredible job with it. Must feel so amazing to have achieved such a great space, congrats
Thank you so much!
My favourite room is the second bedroom. The whole place is magical. Nestor is your right hand man.
♥️♥️
Your videos make my blood pressure drop. I just love them.
Viscountess you have worked your magic once again, your family now has a Italian residence to enjoy the wonderful areas of this magnificent country. Take care, God Bless and hope you have the most amazing time. 😊
Your little Italian house is so cute! I love the kitchen and the terrace the most, but it’s hard to choose given each room is so tastefully decorated with love and your family in mind. May you have many happy years enjoying your slice of heaven in Italy!
Thank you!! 😊
Your Italian home looks great! I like your design choices and I think the kitchen is my favorite room. My only suggestion would be to maybe lower the bathroom mirror just slightly. It seems a little high. Beautiful mirror.
I can remember when you first bought the home and I am so impressed with the entire house! It must be so nice for you to have a nice cozy getaway to a “regular” sized home.
♥️
OMG - you took us on an amazing tour of your house in Tuscany. I am in shock that you didn’t comment on the ancient closet in the guestroom. The most outstanding feature of the house you passed by any chance you could comment on it thank you.
Also - do you have any history on the house? Thanks!
Congratulations on creating such a lovely home!!
What a difference you made in your home. You have such a good eye and you have worked so very hard. You have created a very functional, beautiful, comfy place to retreat to.
Thank you so much!
I watched this on the other channel and on here as well. It is a lovely, sweet Italian getaway.
Your little Italian home is beautiful. Very cozy. You have done a wonderful job putting it all together. From America I’m wishing you and your family the very best!
Thank you so much!
Everything is just perfecto!! ❤
Hi Julie! I love your little Italian house! It was so fun watching the progress as you were making it your own. Italy is a beautiful country and Tuscany is a favorite area of mine. My husband and I spent 2 weeks there, 15 years ago, for our 30th wedding anniversary. We even hiked the Cinque Terre.
I love your kitchen drapes and as I was watching you close them in the video, I remembered long stick pulls that my grandmother had for her velvet ones. That might be a good idea for you, making it much easier to open and close them. Not sure if something like that is still available these days.
Anyway, I'm always looking forward to your next adventure in Italy. Greetings from Edmonton Alberta Canada 👋🇨🇦
Thank you soooo much!!!!
Lovely! What a nice home you have created! I love your colors! I also love how you incorporate items from your travels! Thank you for sharing with us!
And of course, another wonderful video! I love the attention to details and your sharing them. TY for that! Bless you!! How exciting! Your home is beautiful! Enjoy!!🤗❤️
Thank you so much!
Everything is absolutely beautiful!!!!
Love your little Italian house! Fun watching it all come together. Everything is adorable,,..just one thing is the red pillow on the kitchen sofa seems to clash a bit with the painting...but if you like it that's all that matters. 😊 You are just delightful with endless energy....always making things better wherever and whatever you are doing. Your hubby is delightful as well, along with his parents.
Thank you for your videos Ever sending you best wishes. I know you make your family proud.
Absolutely adore it all, especially the outside of the bath..perfect
Thanks so much 😊
Super happy to see the finished product and also how happy/satisfied you are! Everything looks fantastic! I wouldn't change a thing...
Thank you so much!
Julie, love your lovely Italian house and dishes are just the cherry on the top. I would stand the plates up in the cabinet to further display them…watching from PA, USA.
I could happily live in this beautiful home! You and Malcolm have done a stellar job!!!🥰
Thank you so much!
Happy Holidays! So much hard work went into that gorgeous house. Kudos.
I’ve always wanted to share this.
The short series Ladies of London I enjoyed you but felt the Ladies didn’t always enable you to show who you are. Then I discovered your series on Mapperton and loved it and still do. And one day watching Positano diaries your a great friend of Nicki Positano. And now watching you found and created a beautiful home in Italy, I just want to say you a talented person 😊
Can’t wait to see more in London and/or Italy 😊

Lovely lovely home! I would want to be there often! Congratulations and well done, Julie!
😂 love how you can tell you’ve been in England for a hot minute from some of the words you say with a English accent. 🥰
For drainage use empty plastic bottles in large pots, works well. Anne from Scotland.
Absolutely love it.
Your home is absolutely beautiful ! Congratulations!
I love everything i love the sofa in the kitchen one of my favorites ! ❤I remember when you ordered those plates and they are magnificent ♥️
Yes! Thank you!
Thank you! Lovely home! ❤
Everything looks lovely.u did a great job connie dublin x
Your little Italian House is perfect.
♥️
You will need to get the largest containers for your olive trees that you can find and transplant them now, because if you wait until they are root bound, it won't be good for the trees and it will be very difficult for you to do later when they are bigger.
All looks lovely! As an interior geek I just have two things that I think would make the space better: the curtain rod in the kitchen should be longer so that when curtains are open u can see the whole window. As they are now you are taking away from the natural light. Second, in the upstairs rooms the pictures seem to hang too high. The middle of the pictures should be approx eyesight height. :-)
Its all looking so lovely Jullie think the bedrooms are my fav tho i do think its all so lovely thanks for sharing ❤
Maybe find a piece of marble, condition unimportant, and cut it to size under the dish draining tray to take any future staining. This little Italian house makes my heart sing.
Great idea!
Been following along since the beginning. Absolutely love what you’ve done with the place. Stunning!!
Thank you!!!
Absolutely gorgeous!
The house is so lovely! Can't wait to see what you do with the basement!
The plates are so beautiful as well!
I think it would be interesting to have a rooster painted on the kitchen hood in the same style, maybe with some of the accents from the plates in the corners of the hood to break up the white a bit.
Julie, thank you for the fun tour. Everything is lovely! I really love the colors, especially the sage green in the kitchen. It has been such fun to watch the process and see how everything has come together. Had to chuckle when you were showing the guest bedroom because my first reaction was that I wanted to see what the view looked like from that window 😂
I love the kitchen especially. I have really enjoyed your shopping trips.
Thanks so much! 😊
Love the house, such a warm lovely space….and patio….such a bonus….Did you ever find out if the basement is part of the house?
hopefully will have news about it soon!
Loved going on this journey with you 🥰
Can’t wait for the ski video. PS so jealous that your hips are so narrow after four babies
Julie I just love your little house in Italy, the furnishings are just perfect, especially that gorgeous four poster bed, OMG! Your new crockery set is just so sweet, love it. I wish you, Luke and your children a very Happy New Year and look forward to watching your channels during 2025 xxx

Have you decided what to do with the basement? Something crazy like a pool table? Or a wine cellar? Or Julie's Cafe Americano? So happy that you're happy! Can't wait for the next trip to the flea markets. Love and hugs from me in New Mexico USA.
Great idea!!
