One of the reasons I enjoy your program is you don't come in and smash everything to bits. You have a designed destruction pattern. Enjoying your progress.
it was great to finally see that opened up…remembering when you took down everything and revealed the beautiful fireplace…can’t believe how much you’ve done, Sir Billy❤
Yanis doing what he loves to do!!! He’s a human wrecking ball!! His being so bashful when you tease him is so endearing! The room is quite large without the partition. Hope you enjoy your New Year celebration! Love from Pennsylvania. 💕🌷🐻
With the large fireplace this would be the perfect space for the bar ! So much character and can imagine folk sitting/standing around the fireplace to have their drinks 🍺
Wow, the room can breathe again! Awesome video🥰. Hubby who's an artist says North facing rooms are best for art studios; however, the East/West windows will give great fluctuating light throughout the day and with proper lighting it should be a wonderful space. He said he would love a space like that, who wouldn't?
Wooow ! That now Large Room looks so much better. Now the room is balanced to the fireplace size. ! That will be a Wonderful place too entertain or other social events !
WOW love the room with the partition down. Once you get the ceiling exposed it will look even better. I cannot believe how far you have gotten with the Convent already. Love it.
Demolition Yan strikes again 🤗. Love the video Billy especially the beginning with demo Yan. You have such a passion for this old tired convent renovation that’s it’s impossible for viewers to not feel it too. 🤗🤗
No advice, criticism or reprimands from me, I have never done any of the things you guys have achieved. 😊Thank you for the video, I really enjoy watching what you do.
I'm telling you that would be a much better pub to have than the one off the chapel because it's got a very nice fireplace that you can sit by, it's got a nice door that could go out to a patio so many things you could do instead of waste it as an artist's space.
A local beer/wine/spirits producer, McMenamins, has a line of brew pubs using remodeled buildings. One is called the Kennedy School and was a former elementary school, so they had a lot of space to do interesting things with. They have a dedicated whisky and cigars room. Can you imagine that in this room with the fireplace going?
Now that the divider is down, I’ve changed my opinion about the use of the space. It’s perfect for a lounge. Courtyard access, and the potential for a small cocktail catering service area at one end makes this a communal area. Sunrises and sunsets too. Keep the options open.
So happy to see that divider go! I've thought it was ugly since the first time I saw it! Looking forward to you opening up the room so that wonderful fireplace can be seen properly again!
Thank you, Billy for another great video and I pray that everything goes well for you and you keep healthy and strong and complete this beautiful job that you’re going to do in this huge beautiful room with such an amazing looking fireplace. Can hardly wait for the finished product to be shown, your follower Rosemary from Long Beach California .
That's so funny. I was thinking of Simon when looking at the wood floor and thinking "if he was there he would hopefully be able to use it." lol. Leave it to you, Billy, to think of him. I love seeing these rooms opened up, even if you decide to put up a better partition wall.
Enlarging the room without a devider would bring more light into the room for Artists 🎨 and artwork and storage cubbies. Just a thought 🎉 Charming Billy 🍻 Yanis you're doing a great job as always, a real blessing to have. 🍺
This room with the fire place and how large it is would be amazing for a Pool room or 8 Ball and or Snooker. Maybe even a poker room or a lounge with a stage and music. Keep up the work mate, each day you inspire me to make a new channel purely based on renovations even though I have no knowledge of doing so :)
I love all the thought that goes into the various spaces you are creating in the convent, it is outstanding. What a creative family - you all have exceptional gifts!
So much potential for this room. I think a cozy breakfast/coffee room here would be fantastic or bar. Use of the fireplace ❤. Im not sure about the artist room with a fireplace 🤔 either or will be happy though all warm and toasty 😊❤
I stand by the room remaining open like it is now, that looks amazing to have it opened up, just getting that institutional wall out makes a heck of a difference.
WOW. The room already looks much better without that partition in it. And Yanis really cracks me up. I thought he was going to say “that’s my baby, the one with the tattoo”. LMAO.
Thanks for the lesson about removing glass. With that beautiful kitchen next door- it would make a wonderful pub style restaurant. Seating in kitchen and lounge. I'm not sure the ghosts would approve of it but it has been unconscreated That chapel would be wonderful for weddings and musicals. It has been surprising how popular Prncess Catherine Christmas Programs have been. Fantastic work!
So fantastic to see that awful partition come down and opening up the ceiling will be AMAZING as it was in the kitchen. The room is already looking much lighter and brighter and if kept minimalistic could be used for all sorts of activities at Retreats, art, yoga, talks, meetings etc. in addition to any other functions at the Covent and with access to the garden on one side a real bonus. A really worthwhile &b versatile space, so very glad it has been opened up and is going to have a Petherick renovation.👍👌😊
That's a glorious space, and using it as a studio for artists would be lovely, but I can see it as more of a free-form space, with very comfortable furniture in groupings, around low, large tables (possibly constructed from wood and panels that you've salvaged from elsewhere in the convent) that could be used for informal lunches, with large art books and portfolios displayed. Also lots of lamps for reading, which might necessitate installing outlets on the floor. It would be a great place for people to hang out, or for discussion groups. In a way, it could be whatever it needs to be, as a gathering place. My two cents worth!
When I saw the title of today's video, I thought okay, Yanis is gonna be in demo mode on this one! Go Yanis!! Looking forward to the rest of the demo in that room.
I love your plans for that space, Billy. Can’t wait to watch it unfold and see the final product! PS don’t get drunk on new year’s-the after effects get worse and worse as you get older!
Amazing! I'm loving the fireplace and the idea to use it as an artist's retreat area. You'll get all kinds of light and interesting things outside the windows as subject matter. The gardens will also be terrific for artist. Ooh, how I wish I could be among those who visit there in the future. And of course Yanis is in his element smashing glass and dismantling dividers. 🤩
Now that the divider is down, I could see keeping those large cupboards in the room. For a lounge, they would be great for storage of, games, puzzles, cards, and miscellaneous activities to use while relaxing. One of them would also make a great storage unit for coffee bar supplies.
Make it a multi purpose room, for painting, yoga, dancing, cards, crafts. Have a few drinks, no need to get drunk. I've learned my lesson, and I wish would have been sooner. LOL Happy New Years to all!
This room looks better already.. it has so much potential. If it may be used for artists retreats I would consider having as much natural light as possible .
Happy New Year Folks!! I hope this year brings all of you Love, Laughter and Leisure! Billy, I don't think you want to put too much money into the "art gallery" floor if there will be ink and paint used on a regular basis. Just food for thought 😉
Such a large, wonderful space! Perhaps it could be a bit of a convertible space - to change into whatever the needs of the retreat groups are. Great work
would make a lovely lounge, a few sofas, some nice big chairs, gaming tables. Would love to see that fireplace working again. Yanis is the man!
I had the same thought
My thoughts as well! Some nice window seats and the space is large enough to have several seating areas.
Exactly the same here! Was thinking that some of the unused library panels could be used in the partition
Exactly! So far all you’d be able to do there is cook, eat, and read. A lovely lounge with comfy furniture and that fireplace would be just the thing.
My thoughts as well!
WOW! Taking down that partition makes a world of difference! I can hardly wait for the ceiling to be exposed. What a great room for a creative mind!
♥♥Yanis is the MAN!!!! In his element!!!! LOVE YANIS!!!♥♥
The first bit of video when Yannis is dragging the big lump hammer, I just knew we were in for an exciting day 😂
One of the reasons I enjoy your program is you don't come in and smash everything to bits. You have a designed destruction pattern. Enjoying your progress.
Yes, that fireplace deserves a comforting space where people can gather😊
Yanis and his demolish tool, he's so positive and never says NO, I admire that. Thanks for sharing, Happiest New Year.
it was great to finally see that opened up…remembering when you took down everything and revealed the beautiful fireplace…can’t believe how much you’ve done, Sir Billy❤
Partition needed to go! Really nice space. Another wonderful fireplace. You have a great vision for the convent.
Yanis doing what he loves to do!!! He’s a human wrecking ball!! His being so bashful when you tease him is so endearing! The room is quite large without the partition. Hope you enjoy your New Year celebration! Love from Pennsylvania. 💕🌷🐻
My favourite time of the day is when a new video drops from Billy
With the large fireplace this would be the perfect space for the bar ! So much character and can imagine folk sitting/standing around the fireplace to have their drinks 🍺
Agreed!
I laughed when I saw the sledgehammer in the opening shot! Yannis doing his thing. Wow, what a huge difference, love it! Happy New Year yall!
Wow, the room can breathe again! Awesome video🥰. Hubby who's an artist says North facing rooms are best for art studios; however, the East/West windows will give great fluctuating light throughout the day and with proper lighting it should be a wonderful space. Not that anyone will see this but Yanis I think you’re the best! ❤
Absolutely!
Wooow ! That now Large Room looks so much better. Now the room is balanced to the fireplace size. !
That will be a Wonderful place too entertain or other social events !
A large parlor and or music room.
Wow, the room already looks great. The fireplace already really stands out.
I agree, a lounge area would be fantastic. A place to read your book in front of the fireplace.
This is the best renovation channel we'll done guys , and never let us down with no videos 👏
Love love the intro clip with Yannis! 😊
I love watching you pull the convent apart. And then put it back together again. 😊 This room is going to look brilliant.
WOW love the room with the partition down. Once you get the ceiling exposed it will look even better. I cannot believe how far you have gotten with the Convent already. Love it.
Demolition Yan strikes again 🤗. Love the video Billy especially the beginning with demo Yan.

Is this room closer to the kitchen? The pub would be better nearer the kitchen so the pub can have food easier

Too small
@@ednarichardson3442 The Whisky and Cigar bar is much smaller and intimate.
Now that the divider is down, I’ve changed my opinion about the use of the space. It’s perfect for a lounge. Courtyard access, and the potential for a small cocktail catering service area at one end makes this a communal area. Sunrises and sunsets too. Keep the options open.
Love watching Yanis do his thing! Thank you Billy for another fun video. Have been enjoying watching you renovate this building! 😊
This has been my favorite room from the beginning. I fell in love with it when you exposed the beautiful fireplace a long time ago.
Yannis is always amazing! So are you Billy. Such fun watching the discoveries👏👏👏🤞🤞🤞👌👌👌🫶
Love when you tease Yannis . That old room divider gone is such an improvement. See you tomorrow.
So happy to see that divider go! I've thought it was ugly since the first time I saw it! Looking forward to you opening up the room so that wonderful fireplace can be seen properly again!

This should be a community room. Lots of sofas, tv, like that!
And a lovely chandelier
Gwen wants to do retreats ….. the room is being designed for those
No TV's😊

Its looks a thousand times better already Billy .

Love the opening with Yannis dragging his sledge hammer lol.

🤣🤣🤣’The Machine’ is BACK! And kicking GLASS!🤣🤣🤣(in classic movie previews intro voice)✌️🤘🇨🇦
Conference table for retreat discussions, classes/lectures would be an awesome room. That fireplace is quite an attraction
Opening scene was the best yet, onya Yanis 🤙 this room would make a great bar room with that giant fireplace
I loved that intro. I was so hyped. Felt like i was about to watch an epic movie. 🤣
How much fun❤️❤️❤️breaking windows on perpose ❤️❤️
Love the room. As a non-artist, I am completely ignorant of "light" but the space is lovely and the fireplace delightful.
So much potential for this room. I think a cozy breakfast/coffee room here would be fantastic or bar. Use of the fireplace ❤. Im not sure about the artist room with a fireplace 🤔 either or will be happy though all warm and toasty 😊❤

Yanis and Billy--the two-man efficient lean mean demolition machine
And, just like that, the room is opened up to create a new space. With your creativity something beautiful will develop.

Yes, would be great to see a finished one too!!! 🤣🤪😜

Music for atmosphere😊
Definitely celebrate on New Year's Eve!
That is a lovely open space. Can't wait to see the ceiling.
WOW. The room already looks much better without that partition in it. And Yanis really cracks me up. I thought he was going to say “that’s my baby, the one with the tattoo”. LMAO.
Haha…. Opening drag was epic! Go Yanis!

You boys make it seem easy. Do. You ever feel there is something that you can’t do. So much talent,
Great job as usual! Love hearing your thoughts and plans for the convent. Crack on!

I can’t hardly wait to see the fireplace and ceiling uncovered!
Those commercials know just when to pop in.....like right after I tell Billy to show us what he sees up there and he turns on the phone...commercial!
whoops I still missed it.
Well done Billie and Yanis 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💙💙
I love your plans for that space, Billy. Can’t wait to watch it unfold and see the final product! PS don’t get drunk on new year’s-the after effects get worse and worse as you get older!

Happy new year to you all - great job
Tannins in his happy place with a sledge hammer ❤😂❤
Looks great Billy and Yanis!
My son was also born in 1988.

Always great to watch the progress! Wish I was there to lend a hand! Cannot wait to see more. CRACK ON! Happy holidays!

That's quite a lovely room without the divider.. the fireplace and built-in. Beautiful
Love your taste in music Billy
