Damon is a great example of why this movie is so great - it has a ton of A-list actors showing why they're A-list actors. They all know they're in supporting roles, maybe even "background" roles (Rami Malek had like one speaking scene), but they all bring their A-game.
matt Damon is a powerhouse, I'm surprised how well he disappears into this role to me his performances are refined and articulated and he deserves all the props for his work
I spent years thinking Matt Damon would be a perfect choice for a Christopher Nolan film, so getting it twice now has been so awesome. Especially this time since he has more screen time in Oppenheimer than his surprise role in Interstellar. I hope they continue to work together!
"The colors that Matt brings, are every shade of grey." I feel like that Fifty Shades of Grey-rated scene in this masterpiece made Robert say that lol.
BINGO! Honestly it’s so smart more studios need to do this, I love hearing them talk about other Actors in the same film. Barbie and Killers should do this as well!
Good Will Hunting has been my favorite film since childhood. To see Matt Damon's rendition of the Colonel, means the world to me. Absolute perfection. What an honor to be a Groves in the face of Matt Damon's tremendous performance.
I had such a crush on him as a little girl, watching Good Will Hunting. My father is Boston Irish-English, so I'm on the side that loves that film the most.
All these A-list actors are enough to headline any other film. All except Murphy took major pay cuts, otherwise Oppenheimer would have cost three times as much, just so they could work with Nolan on this story.
In both Oppenheimer and Interstellar, the work of Matt Damon's character ultimately leads to mass destruction. Whether it's taking over a spaceship or creating the atomic bomb.

He’s grown a lot… this performance was breathtaking… I hope he continues the passion of cinema
Damon was great levity in this film. What a year for him with this and Air. He's deserving of Noms for both.
He truly was both warm and cold
I have admired his work since Will hunting. Amazing actor

I doubt it
No matter Matt Damon's characterization, his performance is a true delight, magnificent and incredible.
We're watching their For Your Consideration Academy campaign in real time on UA-cam.

I really hope Matt is the main lead in Nolan's new movie.

Sorry, but Damon as Groves is laughable.
When I look at Matt Damon, I don't see Dick Groves.
