day 13 of asking yaboyroshi to react to yozakura family.its a spy action anime which has a lot on family and a bit on romance. 10/10 recommended, and in my opinion would be on the top as spy x family.

Funny enough about Lupa's comment. "Don't they have flares?" In the manga Iharu actually did exactly that. He said he went and shot off a flare to try and get backup. Then that's when Kaiju No. 9 told them nothing can leave this space! For some reason or other the anime cut that part out entirely.
probably cause it doesn't make much sense no kaiju has ever jammed comms before so why use flares? also makes No. 9s ability easier to explain
@@Hildebrante970 The idea is that because Iharu decided to turn around to support Reno, he still had to cover his bases and put the rest of the division on notice. Using the flare to buy time to return to Reno was a good idea. I think the plot hole there is that he SHOULD have simply shot the flare off right then and there in front of K9. But then Reno wouldn't have his moment. (Maybe that's the reason?) Another interesting change was that when he was running away like Reno said to do. He didn't trip and fall over his feet in the manga. Kaiju No. 9's bullets went past Reno and almost hit Iharu. And the resulting blast caused him to stumble backwards.

Ngl wouldve been sick for Animation Aesthetic, Rather than saving Reno by Tackling him out of way, But through the smoke Pwoof!! Red flare lights up area as shoots up in to the sky, Kinda like what they did in Godzilla film few years ago think it was? Then just as rest of Squad is realizing cant reach Iharu or Reno on Comms Red Flare bursts over city ways away, Then shoots back to Iharu and Reno shrouded in red light discussing their brief plan as red from flare fades into silence as Iharu n Reno n #9 stare down then Bam OST hits as Iharu n Reno bolt into action…

You also have to keep in mind that he lacks experience. So when he got spotted, he just lost focus and let kaiju No 9 get away.

the limiter stuff is probaly something about the suit or his own body, maybe like a car? if you use all of the power for much time the motor will die
Limiter keep the suit in from going all out accidentally in the situation that the wearer is frightened

If you want a spoiler-free reason for why Kikoru's signpost was doing better than her gun, the way the "unleashed combat potential" works in this universe steers people towards specialties. Its like how Mina's weapon of choice is basically an artillery piece, whereas Hoshina turns into a ninja with a blade. Kikoru is going to wind up as a melee specialist, which is something that will get more development later on.
Episode 8 is pretty amazing as well!

Fun fact. Kaiju no.9 does have those long a** nails in the manga and it may appear that it was he was shooting those nails like bullets. But I think that since he is a fungus type kaiju. He was compressing air pressure in those fingers and shooting it like bullets (just like how mushrooms erupt to spread their spores). Which explains how Kafka was able to block his huge barrage with the roar since he created a strong air pressured barrier of some sorts!!
