sad fact: I have a thyroid condition and because of it, no matter how much I love them and have loved them even when they weren't as popular, I can't wear chokers (your thyroid is located in your neck area). Like they literally have broken and popped off my neck before because my thyroid swells off & on causing my neck to randomly enlarge. Plus, it points out the swelling that you normally can't see as much when they actually do stay on & irritates my thyroid with the pressure from the choker causing it to swell and thus eventually break the choker anyways. So it's just a lose/lose situation. It's sooo much fun... (hint: sarcasm)
