Dude!!! Loving the class specific magic items!! This provides so much to us DM's, especially to DM's like me who are still wet behind the ears. I can't say Thank you, enough.
I do love the Glamoured Studded Leather armor. I put it on a changeling bard with the actor feat. So essentially Mystique, Morph, or Chameleon. Take your pick. The ultimate infiltrator
Ring of Truth Telling from the Dragon Hiest module. Goes very well with a face build and with any glamered gear. Advantage on insight rolls can change game events dramaticly.
Thanks you so much for making this video It's always nice to see a content creater listen to their audience and also this is a great video again thanks
Im surprised you didnt include pipes of haunting that causes a fear area effect or think was pipes of the swarm that summons rats under your control. I know theyre not the most beloved but could fit certain builds well and the can be useful as a battle distraction to buy time and bolster numbers/buff. Unfortunately the build i want to use isnt AL legal so will have to use in home brew games or do a different pact patron. Skull kid from majoras mask. Just cant decide if i want to go warforged or halfling, work the possession angle going chain pact hexblade and the creepy construct angle as a artificer... The whole idea of a steel dino skeleton, human bone skelly with sword n shield, or medium size steel bone dragon construct is appealing af. But him dancing playing pipes of haunting to set the stage while a dino skeleton charges in, little sprite being annoying as hell all just sounds awesome... especially if i can give it dragon breath or cast enlarge... floating and teleporting around the battle field causing mischief. Animating objects and corpses.... No stealing my build.
Bards can't use scepters as focuses. Scepter is an arcane focus, meaning sorcerers, warlocks and wizards (and some other subclasses) use it as a focus. Bards have the musical instrument focus, which is unique to them. They can still use the other properties of course.
A bunch of people house rules that bards can use arcane foci because the whole instrument thing reinforces the stereotype that bards HAVE to play music.
be a rogue get those gloves have expertise in slight of hand get a bonus of 22 to your slight of hand checks at level 20 proceed to not be able to get below a 32 on a slight of hand check thanks to reliable talent pick everyone's pocket and never be caught walk into a royal party and leave a couple hundred gold richer
Bards can't use the blast scepter as an arcane focus because bards can't use an arcane focus. The PH clearly says in the Adventuring Gear section, "An arcane focus is a special item - an orb, a crystal, a rod, a specially constructed staff, a wand-like length of wood, or some similar item - designed to channel the power of arcane spells. A sorcerer, warlock, or wizard can use such an item as a spellcasting focus", but not bards. Bards are unique in that they alone can use musical instruments as a focus for their magic.
True or false: in 5e, saying “it can be used as an arcane focus” is meaningless because literally anything can be used as an arcane focus, and every spellcasting class starts with one automatically.
If you're focused on the sword aspect and actually fighting, it depends on the fighting style. If you're going 2 weapon fighting a dancing sword wouldn't be that useful as you'd be likely using your bonus action to attack with it. I'd say anything that can increase your damage would be good, frost brand, flame tongue, sun blade, etc. I also love the sword of warning for its utility
@@NerdImmersion First: Thanks for the fast reply. He explained me his fighting style like this: He want to fight one-handed and nearly wants to "dance" through the enemies while swinging his shortsword. So his dancing expression, combined with some singing could also trigger his bardic magic power, if this makes any sense :D

Bards aren’t always about damage-gives 3 generic items that do spell damage followed by generic “you do spells have more spells”. Way to not embrace bard in any way
It’s the best support class in my opinion. You are the second best counterspeller behind abjuration wizard, you have a wide selection of spells that have multiple uses. You are a skill monkey. You can heal. You can steal great spells like destructive wave, banishing smite, and swift quiver before paladin and rangers since you are a full caster. Dipping in another class can give you a ton of options.
Not true. College of Glamour might be the most powerful support class in the game, all while being absolutely fabulous. And no class suck if you have fun playing them.
Hypnotic Pattern is a charm affect, which makes any of the bardic instruments stupendous.
oo good point!
Few regrets had our DM, beside giving my bard an Instrument.

Ring of Spell Storing with the Clerics Revivify spell, and given to the Barbarian or whoever the tank is, in case the Cleric goes down....
Animated shield, any of the instruments preferably one handed, scimitar of speed, circlet of blasting, either of the Elvenkind.
well normally bards don't have proficiency in shields, so the animated shield wouldn't be useful to them normally.
@@NerdImmersion fair point thank you
One of the original sublasses has it college o war? Also you can take mederatly armored to get shild proficancy! Or levl one dip into hexblade.

This was your best list realy specific for the bard.. other could be a otherclass just aswell.
My bard actually just got a set of glamored studded leather armor my plan is to start using it as part of a disguise to infiltrate
I'd love to see an updated version of this with the new magic items in the latest books :)

So I just realized that if you combine College of Whispers and Changeling the outcome is terrifyingly efficient
That it is.
Great vid! Hope to see the sorcerer having its spotlight soon :D
It looks like he is going in alphabetical order so it's gonna be a bit

Sean Wisniewski at level 20 you can sell your own farts for a couple hundred gold 😂
I was hoping there would be illustrations to help along your explanations.
Getting ready for a one-shot and I get an uncommon magical item. This was helpful- thank you!
More light in the background please.
Wait... if the cloak of many fashions can mimic the appearance of any magical cloak... what happens if it tries to mimic the cloak of invisibility?
I assume the cloak is just invisible
The cloak appears to be an "inactive" cloak of invisibility. NPCs may think you possess one but you do not.
What about the deck of illusions?
Who have to hold concentrations for spells in the storage ring?
Bring back the Lyre of Building!!!
They did! In Tasha's Cauldron of Everything

Anyone maybe got a suggestion for me for a magic item for a Bard of Swords? (Except Dancing Sword)
Would really help me out!

Has he made one for rogues?

So what your saying is, you don't like supporting youtubers?
When you don't have Goodberry, you make do with what you have.

Gotta think creatively with that support.
Nothing like using dissonant whispers to take on a gorgon.
