Loved my experience so much last September that we are going back in June lol The food was BOMB ! When I walked in the buffet and saw lobster tail and bacon wrapped filet, SOLD and locked in forever!!! lol I would say that this hotel is more leisure friendly but still a great time! The rooms were not modern at all. That was my only issue.
Love your video! Thanks for sharing. I'm considering staying there, so am doing research. I love how comprehensive it is. And the links below were very helpful!
YES! I would love the details on the birthday photo shoot! Thank you so much for the helpful video. We're going for my birthday/holiday celebration in a few months 🎉
@@flairbypierre You saved me from the embarrassment. I suggested this place and after watching your video, I was texting them like, “Abort mission.” 😂 But I want to go here one day, maybe for a romantic getaway.
Thanks for your very informative videos of Jamaica, specifically the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall. I have been to Jamaica numerous times but mostly stayed in Negril. On this trip, I'm taking my daughter and her boyfriend for her 21st Birthday. (This will be her first trip out of the country and staying at an all-inclusive resort). I decided that staying in Montego Bay would be the best for her, so she can soak in the culture more and be closer to the activities in MOBAY. We do have our reservations for Iberostar Grand Rose Hall, but we had also been looking at Ocean Eden Bay. In the end I felt there was more to offer at Iberostar and felt the beach was better. I saw your video on Ocean Eden Bay and wanted to get your opinion on the two resorts compared. Ocean Eden looks so beautiful, but I prefer the more boutique-style resorts. The Iberostar Grand Rose Hall seems more like a boutique resort in comparison and offers the option to use the facilities at the other 2 resorts. I love that it's so close to everything, and the free shuttle to the little shopping village you showed. This seemed like a win for both of us. We travel in a couple weeks and would love to get your opinion.
Hey! I love this for you guys! Since you have a preference, I would 100000% agree that Iberostar would be a better resort based on location. It may not be as modern, but definitely gives luxury. I also (personally) think Iberostar has better food as well! I’ve been to Jamaica 3 times and this was probably my favorite stay so far. It’s absolutely gorgeous, and I think you guys will have a great time! For a 21 year old, if she wants more of a lively atmosphere, I would recommend checking out the other 2 resorts as well.
@@flairbypierre Thanks so much! I'm really looking forward to it! If you want a more relaxed vibe sometime, you should check out Couples Negril! I got married at Swept Away, but now Couples Negril is my favorite by far!!! I want to return every year!❣
Thank you for the video! Any suggestions on the best way for tipping? Butler, housekeeping, room service, pool bar, restaurants, etc? We have never been to Jamaica and are going July 20th to the 27th for our honeymoon. Thank you!
Thanks so much for watching! Personally, we always carry ones on us and tip a few dollars here and there there everytime. In terms of housekeeping, we always tipped at the end. Congrats on getting married, and happy honeymoon! 😊
Hi. Can you give me info on your birthday photo shoot? I'm going next week for my bday solo. I booked a few excursions off-site. I am an Iberostar member and this resort I picked for my free stay since I never been to Jamaica before. My first Iberostar was in Cancun Coral Selection Adult side was fun and always hype. They had indoor air conditioned Cabanas for extra fee which was a plus . I didnt see any of them in your video so I am not sure. Where they playing any music at the swim up bar ? Overall I'm excited and I always make my own fun but we shall see how this goes...
@@taneshalatonya hey! Yes. I love this for you! I booked through Her Dress Jamaica. No problem! And not necessarily…. 😅 lol the nightlife consisted mainly of a nightly show which actually was really nice, and then live music in the lobby. And one night, there was a beach party, but it had low attendance. And that was pretty much it lol so past like… 9pm, it wasn’t lively. So I would recommend checking out the shows at suites and beach next door! They had more options. @@isaacgonzalez2608 our butler made reservations for us (even though they weren’t necessary, but we had a guaranteed spot during busy hours), they decorated our room with rose petals, made sure we had beverages (bottles) in our room, & helped with any inquiries we had. They were just a text away and checked in multiple times throughout the day to make sure we were good. Tbh, it’s a nice perk, but I could do without 😂 lol it didn’t make or break our trip.
Just got back from there two days ago. I honestly wouldn't go back. I had the staff randomly come in my room 4 times. Once while I was getting busy on the balcony, once while I was using the bathroom and twice while I was sleep. Only food that was good was the local food (jerk chicken, goat, ox tail) Habachi was terrible. Customer service was a huge miss...no one worked the front reception desk for hours at a time nor the transport back was MIA my whole trip. Couldn't book an excursion because the young ladies working the desk were also MIA the 7 times i went to the desk. I got pestered to buy weed every 9 seconds on the beach.....definitely over this place...I would rather go back to Cancun or Tulum...
Was it just this resort? I stayed at breathless last year and loved it! Also I won't mind the weed inquiries thats the main reason we coming back to Jamaica because they welcome the smoking culture lol
