- The Akimbo attachment was just recently added to MWII with season 4 and since many people have asked me for it, I wanted to break down this attachment and share the best akimbo FTAC Siege setup! What are your thoughts on how they balanced this attachment?

This is super stupid, I literally wasted half a mag with a Cronen on a dude with this Akimbo FTAC and he killed me.
Deserves a super nerf.

Hey Ace. There is a suppressor that is at the very end of the muzzle list. I don't know why it isn't grouped up with the other suppressors, but it is called the FT Seige Control. It really helped with the recoil, not as much as the XRK Sandstorm, but a pretty big amount compared to the other suppressors.
But it provides +0.01x range while singuard does +0.14x
@@TearsOfHeroin Sure, but that's just a difference of 3.2 meters compared to 3.8 meters. If you've tried this weapon in akimbo, the recoil is atrocious, so the Seige Control muzzle is a pretty good pick for suppression and recoil control.
The hollow point seams to flinch targets more than the overpressured ammo (when hitting legs ofc)
ya for sure. they almost give off a stun effect. they stop u from sprinting and make ur screen flash sort of white

@@BeansNQueso the shurikens have the same effect but greater and can be hit anywhere. Vanguard used to have this effect but called it suppression, its a better COD
Singuard muzzle was one of my favorites back in season 1 with my minibak and other SMGs, but I havent used it as much recently. I recently started using it with my FTAC Siege and I'm happy to report it is very good with the siege. I like that it helps your range similar to a barrel, but with the bonus of being a suppressor. Even before watching this vid, I had been using it with the 50 round barrel so I had the right idea going...

Even in hardcore they're basically useless past sneeze range, one cool thing I noticed about the akimbo is that the left gun recoils harder than the right, which is cool because your operator is right handed and as such doesn't have as good of recoil control for their left
Well no one cares about hardcore so lmao.
I noticed that both guns kick up a bunch and so I go with thr compensator that helps with vertical recoil the most.
I have three questions..
- Does the recoil reducing muzzles work on the akimbo FTAC?
- Do sights and scopes reduce recoil as a hidden quirk like it was in the past?
- Do any attachment have a hidden benefit or negative effect on any gun?
- sights and scopes do not reduce recoil
- recoil reducing muzzles reduce the kick, not the bloom

@@yeetgrenade7492 hmm.. maybe.. but they might’ve changed something with the updates.. because I noticed that they removed the “GUN KICK” feature from weapon tuning.

@@BurningMoreXP when I say gun kick, i just mean your crosshair moving around in general, not that one specific stat. Im contrasting it with ‘hip recoil control’ which reduces bloom and movement penalties when hip firing
What about mobility wise? Does akimbo harm movement speed and strafe speed greatly?
All it could use is a headshot damage buff. There’s no reason to remove the head multiplier with akimbo if they’re going to make the damage per shot so low
Do you prefer this to your previous hip fire class setup for this gun?
The recoil is crazy but at least you get a good mag size
In the future if they made akimbo isometric would be kinda cool, as in having different attachments for either gun (silencer for left & extended mag for right) OR different weapons...1 deagle and 1 ftac siege... don't think I've seen that too much, definitely not in CoD anyway.

My brother found a combo with one of the barrels that allows you have the same accuracy but with less recoil.
I miss the original MW2 all the akimbos were awesome.
You could always go with the classic akimbo with the largest most obnoxious sight possible
Its always either op then gets destroyed via nerf half the time. Subtle good changes improving mw2 steadily, but WZ inspired changes make gun balance wack.
Activision and "CoD Trio" - multibillion companies, who possess hell a lot of employees and specialists(or, at least, can effort hiring them without any problems), are too lazy to make different stats for guns for two absolutely different modes and to normally moderate and balance it.
Point is to encourage people to buy the bundles to unlock it ASAP, then nerf it to make it seem like they listen to the community. Rinse and repeat to get retards' money. But keep playing the game and buying the bundles; Activision appreciates your support.

Yep! I love the new ISO 45.. its a monster for now, but I'm sure it'll be nerfed into the ground by season 5, if not by season 4 reloaded. Can't stand these clown devs

Using the integrated suppressor is alot better for hip fire for some reason

Love your vids but I genuinely don't have the interest to keep struggling to play mw2. Battlebit remastered has kinda made me rethink how tiring mw2 can be. I'll stay subbed because I love your work but I thought I'd see if you would be interested in covering battlebit

This seems to be a fine gun, it is a worse shotgun if optimized that can kill people at longer ranges if by some miracle they land 10 shots. If that happens to you and they fired 5-shots out of each gun you'd have died to most regular guns or it without akimbo.
You'd also miss so many shots that you probably earned that death against this gun akimbo.
I cant get the hipfire kills needed to unlock akimbo, to register. So cant unlock. Just fn great!

I used his first build he showed with the slow rounds and 50 mag with no barrel, I think barrel gives it insane recoil compared to suppressor and the item in general is weak enough to not notice a difference
It's one of them weapons that seems like it shreds but in reality weak af similar to how akimbo x13 behaves but hey at least we don't have to deal with akimbo sykovs again
Think of the combined fire rate of 2,400 rpm and yah. It's probably good, if you hit lol.

Is it 25 hip fire kill in one match or just in general
in general, you need to level the gun to lvl 25 in order to unlock the akimbo perk tho

I'm all for these fun builds that are somewhat effective at some scenarios... but completely useless at anything else for balance purpose
I barely played again for the first time it was fun and I unlocked it in one game of shipment but it feels like the guns are very lacking and I get outshot by everything literally bro
i really dont get their thought of balancing. they insta nerf this to the ground but the P890 akimbo is still untouched, one or to tapping players left and right
I think it's the mentality that anything semiauto takes skill to use, and probably the devs not considering the TTK as well.
That, or maybe they're more concerned with WZ/ DMZ balance than MP balance since that's where they make their money.

That's fine but generally not going to help you win gunfights, it's just more likely to result in more assists after you die.
Ace I have akimbo ftacs irl and I’m really struggling with camo challenges :(
I hate how the pistols were all unique and had upsides and downsides, but then they made the glock obsolete with this thing and added a bad gimmick deagle.
I consider the Glock 18 to be better in single... The recoil control and overall feel is much better in my eyes. The FTAC siege is inconsistent, sometimes it feels like a monster and others like its shooting dry cat food

Have you tried removing all attachments? I did that, and it started tracking the hipfire kills for me - One match and it unlocked.
@@lambonasty managed to unlock it in the end, think it was tracking in the background without showing the progress in the gunsmith
Bold of you to assume the in game coded stats are correct, and the damage isn't bugged or anything. This is Infinity Ward, afterall...
I have yet to see a single inconsistency with sym's damage values whenever I compare them with my hand testing so it's generally safe to assume they're accurate.

On an unrelated note, isn't it crazy how even point blank with 2400rpm it still kills slower than ISO45? It's almost like the ISO is op. I wonder how that happened 🤔

@chinkexterminator6571 I'm not mad, just shocked. The hipfire is so good in both ADS and hipfire so I was 100% expecting the Tec to catch a nerf, and they gave it akimbo? Hell yeah I'll abuse it.
