In WZ the Katt cant 1 shot but a lil kar can which is stupidity in the flesh. The superi is the problem in WZ mainly. It kills in 4 bullets less than most ARs and can compete range wise since recoil is brain dead to control. Now THAT needs nerfs. Or just a damage nerf. 10 instead of 8 is reasonable
Also, forgot the CQR didn't have a fire rate issue. Its the Tac stance thats an issue in WZ. I can set up Tac Stance and hit the farthest target reliably with a 7 shot kill at every range I can find. The farthest target(I think 52m away) you might miss 2 shots but if your on target, tac stance will dominate with such a fast ADS speed its ridiculous how competitive it is at mod range

Literally no one uses the interceptor anymore. This is why warzone needs to be separate about weapon balancing because it ruins the gun in MP just to nerf it in warzone. Edit:I'm sorry for going on a mini rant but the Renetti with the full auto kit is abused more since they have yet to nerf that kit even though it's outguning ars and smgs up to 40ish meters.
The horus has the same range and damage values as the rival 9 but with better overall stats. Not to mention the rival 9 was getting range adjustments too. SHG gave up with weapon balance and it's painful.
I think that because Carrack .300 got buffed and therefore MTZ Interceptor got nerfed because of the previously similar damage profiles and the faster handling of the MTZ Interceptor.
Why are the devs incapable of doing proper balancing. Like seriously the stalker now one shots anywhere but the victus can't one shot to the lower torso. Absolute travesty. Like have they even seen the minibak
They don't want or they aren't allowed to make the game better. What's the point of making MWIII any better if it has enough content to people to be happy for years? They will not buy BO6 if that is the case, so keep ruining the game and ignore the problems, that's the state of MWIII

It used to be a very good high skill gun. Faster than average ttk with exceptional range. I have a 2 kd with it maxed out. Now it is just useless. Devs are high af. Just because a few high skill players do good with it, doesn't mean its OP. Fuck.
They adjusted the Carrack, which fills a similar niche. The MTZ has faster handling and movement so I think they nerfed it for for that reason. It's not that high skill players are stomping with it, they have the stats and know who's dominating with it. Probably the same reason they destroyed the COR-45. Macros and jittermods were being abused so they nerfed it into the ground as most cheaters have to unlock the other semi-auto pistols through challenges at LVL 55, whereas the COR-45 is unlocked from the start or early on (with a fresh account). At least that's my thought
I’m kinda trash, 1kd average (atleast when I was playing, my poor Xbox 1 hasn’t ran the game well). Loved it bc if I missed a shot the quicker follow-ups were there. Liked to use it on larger maps with longer sightlines.
Yeh that change made me scratch my head. The only thing the KATT had that made it stand out was on the 1 shot to anywhere in the body and it's insane wall penetration (it can practically shoot through anything and is hilariously fun with snapshot grenade wall penetration shots). Now it's only got wall pen but that's very niche.
The last time I used it was in December when I was grinding out Interstellar challenges. Haven’t even looked at it in the customization screen since then, it’s so ass.

My only guess is that, since the Cor 45 is your starting pistol in Warzone, they wanted to incentivize players to get loot instead of challenging one another in the first second of dropping in.

I love the COR 45, and it didn't deserve a nerf. I love the XRK stalker, and it didn't need a buff lol. What they should do with the stalker is add the damn weapon charm! It's been missing since the game came out.
Tbh it did. Beyond 400 ms ads with one of the worst ranges on a sniper in cod history. Literally gets hitmarkers to the guts at 30 meters with the short barrel which is a necessity on multiplayer because the base ads is garbage.

Jeez, the COR-45 pistol has been the clear choice when it comes to semi-auto sidearms and it’s now less popular for many people cuz of the pathetic TTK and fire rate even with the ROF-improving trigger attachment and it acts like the Renetti with the JAK Intimidator aftermarket part, but the XRK Stalker buffed its damage multiplier and it’s now my favorite sniper in the game. There’s no doubt when it comes to the XRK Stalker.
It's not confusing at all once you realize that literally ZERO thought and planning (let alone testing) goes into these rather frequent "balancing" changes.
The COR-45 just went from arguably the best Pistol to the indisputable worst. It and the 9mm Daemon were/are my favorite guns to use on MnK. God forbid we have a quick handling and fun semi auto that rewards trigger fingers and accurate tracking. What is rampant are the dozen different one shot snipers/rifles that are as used by people enjoying the very generous AA. How these ones shot weapons remain unscathed patch after patch with more being added is beyond me, but I suppose that easy one shot kills is how they keep "engagement" metrics looking good for the suits.
@@ogtremorr I still come across it frequently, maybe a late night lobby thing. Regardless, the handling speed, ads speed and forgiving one shot kill zones make the majority of potential gunfight scenarios the Kar98 users to lose.

I do agree that the ads is a bit much, but if you consider the fact that it’s only got 5 rounds and has the slowest fire rate of any sniper or marksman rifle I think it’s in a good spot imo.
They nerfed the COR45 for Warzone purposes. It's the starting pistol and I'm sure too many ppl were complaining getting downed right after landing from the get-go.
It’s a shame the Spas is still too inconsistent in Pump mode as well as another interceptor nerf despite being worse than the KVD Enforcer in every way. The FJX nerf was unnecessary and now there’s no reason not to use the AMP
Aside from these woeful balance updates, has anyone noticed the server/performance of the game to be absolutely shocking now? The amount of stutters and lag spikes make it feel like you are running in mud, sliding on a slip n slide, and the killcams clearly show you are lag comped to being half a second behind what enemies are seeing you… none of this was present for me at least until season 4 reloaded.
Really is frustrating that they did the cor-45 like. Two patches prior, when the lightning trigger was actually a lightning trigger, I was capable of beating Superi meta bros in Warzone consistently with a solid trigger finger. Gonna have to try the 2011 now and see how that compares

I'm still so confused as to why they decided to destroy the Cor-45 instead of buffing the other Semi-Auto pistols to be comparable. Nobody's gonna wanna use any of them now, and are just gonna rely on the Renetti and Auto-Pistols.
They definitely need to buff all the MW2 Battle Rifles still. They also need to buff the MW2 pump action shotguns. Hopefully they still have plans to add the M60.
6:20 crazy thought, they could have done that to the Kat amr because there's an AMP on the way for it. So that would technically serve as a type of balance.
The MTZ Interceptor nerf seems to be working alongside with the buff of Carrack .300 to make the latter to stand out. Maybe the COR45 nerfs are working in a similar manner and making other pistols to stand out (including the Renetti AMP).

I'm just speaking from my personal experience that KVD is more difficult to use out of the three with its side to side bounce and its inconsistent two-shots potential. Statically KVD shoots at the fastest out the three and has the best one shot headshot potential, however the gun is at a weird place where spamming trigger makes it inaccurate, while holding position and tapping fire with KVD makes it less competitive. MTZ might have the worst damage range stat but it's more consistent with its two shots, not to mention with the Carrack.
They didn't nerf the kar nor the superi, nerfed what we didn't asked and didn't touch on guns that desperately need a buff so this season balance wise is pretty bad
It surprises me that we have tyr and basilisks both with snakeshot,tyr just one shots...meanwhile with basilisk snakeshot you need 6 bullets up close,6 snakeshots to kill someone...🤯
Man... I actually really liked the MTZ Interceptor on S&D. It had a good one shot range and rewarded skill, especially on certain maps and lanes where its fast handling let it beat out snipers if you hit headshots. That nerf is rough, though. It'll probably be pretty useless now sadly.
I have used the mtz interceptor before the nerfs, I've always tried to find marksman rifle classes for warzone. I can assure you that it was one of the best marksman rifles to use... however it was still head, shoulders, knees, and toes below any sniper, accurate lmg, or ar
My feedback is for COR-45 is don’t increase the rate of fire to avoid macro abuses and increase damage from 60 to 105. Upper and lower leg damage: From 55 to 96 Stomach damage: From 60 to 105 Upper and lower arm damage: From 60 to 105 Chest, neck, and head damage: From 66 to 115
There is such a massive discrepancy when it comes to how they balance these weapons. They seemingly balance them off of their stats based on certain player groups... if the Interceptor was overperforming in the past and they nerfed it enough to where it isn't... and now no one uses it... those stats don't change... It continues to look like it's doing far better than all the other DMR's. They removed the MCW's headshot multiplier a couple months ago just to bring it back and, for all intents and purposes, they effectively undid the original nerf. They did that because as they said "It was overperforming in higher skill lobbies". Now idk what they consider high skill but sure enough in SnD with my 1.2 K/D... everyone is sweating and abusing this gun in public lobbies. The headshot nerf saw it tone down quite a bit for awhile which was awesome, just to have it be brought back and now it's abused... again. Long story short... they're balancing based off of stats... which a lot of games do, and it always ends up being awful for literally everyone. We're still ignoring the plethora of 50+ weapons that remain useless to this day that have been available since launch.
I’m extremely confused by the lack of the MWII weapon balancing. The TAQ-56 needs a 4 shot kill potential, the Fennec 45 and the ISO 9mm needs a range increase and 5 shot kill potential. The FSS Hurricane needs a 4 shot kill potential, the battle rifles need higher damages and ranges, and SP-R 208/SA-B 50 need much longer one shot kill ranges. And the SP-X 80 needs an ADS time reduction!

The MTZ was balanced after the nerf that reduced the neck damage, which was like the first or second nerf within the first 2 months of the game. I don't think they want people to use the gun lmao.
I think this patch kinda of sucked. Nerfing the cor 45 when most people use renetti more often than not is insane. On top of the karambit being busted as well as the mcw that should be nerfed more it is insane they did that. Sometimes it makes you wonder do the devs play their game and actually see the gameplay environment or they make changes based on stats and analytics. I play xdefiant way more than cod now so just seeing my favorite pistol get nerfed like this is beyond me.

Not nerfing the JAK Backsaw Kit on the holger 556 had me almost uninstalling the whole game. That thing is infesting my servers and it's disgusting, i genuinely hear it in my sleep and during the day outside the game.

I find it bizarre that some weapons get adjusted multiple times patch after patch while other weapons (especially some mw2 weapons) are just left in the gutter.
And then, you have to ask this question: Why didn't they buff the sidewinder (ACR .450 Huntsman)? Why didn't they nerf the Rival 9 (Scorpion Evo A3) carbine barrel when going fully automatic?
If they wanna nerf the MTZ Interceptor so bad they should reduce its bullet velocity. I am by no means a good shot in COD when it comes to bullet drop but the interceptor has really good bullet velocity so hitting longshots (even at extreme ranges like across Popov Power) is not difficult whatsoever.

What is gained from the COR-45 Nerf? I do not believe I have ever been eliminated by someone using one in recent memory, and it is likely rare. I have used it successfully a few times but it is a safe and reliable fall-back weapon that deserves no buff or nerf.
When I think balancing I think bringing weapons more in line with the average with highs and lows in different areas.. not entirely ruining entire weapons from being used ever lol

i love the bal. it the first (an only) gun i got a DNA bomb with and having 60 rounds in an AR with good handling is nice. But if the BAL needed something fixed the recoil was definitely not it.

I found this out the hard way on a ranked warzone match, in which I somehow got a kill 165 metres away…)
8:34 id like to see the jak kit from the spam revolver on here. Ive started using it as my main pistol for the cowboy vibes. Not super practical to be fair with only 8 rounds and even with the quick reload it still takes some time compared to most and i usually primary a sniper.
Why the changes are so weird: Maybe because SBMM makes it so bad players don't interact with good ones, they don't see what gun is actually good or bad and keep using guns with bad stats, thus increasing usage and what not-stats.
I can't wait to finally use the Bal more. Favorite gun by far. :3 The Cor, I just started using, it got destroyed with this patch, I need a new main gunslinger weapon that isn't the Renetti now.
Its so odd, its like they want a meta to develop or take hold in MP too, there are too many weapons in this game that feel like peashooters or don't one shot when they logically should.
Sledgehammer is definitely the worst of the CoD devs when it comes to weapon balancing. Every one of their cod games have had very poor weapon balancing.

6:00 there's a crazy Mastercraft bundle coming in for the XRK Stalker, so that might be why they buffed it and didn't care about the KATT

Jeez, the COR-45 pistol has been the clear choice when it comes to semi-auto sidearms and it’s now less popular for many people cuz of the pathetic TTK and fire rate even with the ROF-improving trigger attachment and it acts like the Renetti with the JAK Intimidator aftermarket part, but the XRK Stalker buffed its damage multiplier and it’s now my favorite sniper in the game. There’s no doubt when it comes to the XRK Stalker.
It's not confusing at all once you realize that literally ZERO thought and planning (let alone testing) goes into these rather frequent "balancing" changes.
7:15 SHG has since given an update that the changes to the COR 45 were overkill, and they have made changes that should be rolled out soon.

The COR-45 just went from arguably the best Pistol to the indisputable worst. It and the 9mm Daemon were/are my favorite guns to use on MnK. God forbid we have a quick handling and fun semi auto that rewards trigger fingers and accurate tracking. What is rampant are the dozen different one shot snipers/rifles that are as used by people enjoying the very generous AA. How these ones shot weapons remain unscathed patch after patch with more being added is beyond me, but I suppose that easy one shot kills is how they keep "engagement" metrics looking good for the suits.
Did you not see the Kar nerf that obliterated the AA? I RARELY see people using it anymore because of it.
@@ogtremorr I still come across it frequently, maybe a late night lobby thing. Regardless, the handling speed, ads speed and forgiving one shot kill zones make the majority of potential gunfight scenarios the Kar98 users to lose.
@@VaneWalker to be fair are you taking about it in WZ or MP? Cuz in MP I haven’t seen anyone aside from actual decent snipers using it. My friends I play with loved tf out of it pre patch and now they won’t even touch it because they say it’s too hard to use lol.
@@VaneWalker specifically in MP, I feel like if they nerfed the handling speed or the 1 shot potential it would be useless. I do agree that the ads is a bit much, but if you consider the fact that it’s only got 5 rounds and has the slowest fire rate of any sniper or marksman rifle I think it’s in a good spot imo.

They nerfed the COR45 for Warzone purposes. It's the starting pistol and I'm sure too many ppl were complaining getting downed right after landing from the get-go.
Then nerf it JUST for Warzone, not core PVP.

You have to ADS on the Reclaimer to get consistency. It's very consistent now. Though only with ADS so it's a skill issue
FJX nerf was fine, it was a top tier smg and is still very good. Nothing with that fast of a TTK can ever be bad

Aside from these woeful balance updates, has anyone noticed the server/performance of the game to be absolutely shocking now? The amount of stutters and lag spikes make it feel like you are running in mud, sliding on a slip n slide, and the killcams clearly show you are lag comped to being half a second behind what enemies are seeing you… none of this was present for me at least until season 4 reloaded.
Yeah, I have random packet burst issues, even on hard-wired fast internet randomly. Even think I got DDOSed once which was off-putting.
Really is frustrating that they did the cor-45 like. Two patches prior, when the lightning trigger was actually a lightning trigger, I was capable of beating Superi meta bros in Warzone consistently with a solid trigger finger. Gonna have to try the 2011 now and see how that compares

They definitely need to buff all the MW2 Battle Rifles still. They also need to buff the MW2 pump action shotguns. Hopefully they still have plans to add the M60.
Yeah the semi-auto versions of AR-15 and G3 for example need be buffed significantly.

Poor COR45
It sucks what happened to the Cor45. That was my top sidearm next to the Renneti. I got my first mgb with it. 😞
The MTZ Interceptor nerf seems to be working alongside with the buff of Carrack .300 to make the latter to stand out. Maybe the COR45 nerfs are working in a similar manner and making other pistols to stand out (including the Renetti AMP).

I said KVD is the worst of the three doesn't mean it's a bad gun. I'm just speaking from my personal experience that KVD is more difficult to use out of the three with its side to side bounce and its inconsistent two-shots potential.
Statically KVD shoots at the fastest out the three and has the best one shot headshot potential, however the gun is at a weird place where spamming trigger makes it inaccurate, while holding position and tapping fire with KVD makes it less competitive. MTZ might have the worst damage range stat but it's more consistent with its two shots, not to mention with the Carrack.
The Cor-45 is also a Pistol you get at the start of the game. I'm level 26 at the moment. I rarely use my Pistol in Hardcore though.
They didn't nerf the kar nor the superi, nerfed what we didn't asked and didn't touch on guns that desperately need a buff so this season balance wise is pretty bad

Man... I actually really liked the MTZ Interceptor on S&D. It had a good one shot range and rewarded skill, especially on certain maps and lanes where its fast handling let it beat out snipers if you hit headshots. That nerf is rough, though. It'll probably be pretty useless now sadly.
I have used the mtz interceptor before the nerfs, I've always tried to find marksman rifle classes for warzone. I can assure you that it was one of the best marksman rifles to use... however it was still head, shoulders, knees, and toes below any sniper, accurate lmg, or ar

My feedback is for COR-45 is don’t increase the rate of fire to avoid macro abuses and increase damage from 60 to 105.
Upper and lower leg damage: From 55 to 96
Stomach damage: From 60 to 105
Upper and lower arm damage: From 60 to 105
Chest, neck, and head damage: From 66 to 115
There is such a massive discrepancy when it comes to how they balance these weapons. They seemingly balance them off of their stats based on certain player groups... if the Interceptor was overperforming in the past and they nerfed it enough to where it isn't... and now no one uses it... those stats don't change... It continues to look like it's doing far better than all the other DMR's. They removed the MCW's headshot multiplier a couple months ago just to bring it back and, for all intents and purposes, they effectively undid the original nerf. They did that because as they said "It was overperforming in higher skill lobbies". Now idk what they consider high skill but sure enough in SnD with my 1.2 K/D... everyone is sweating and abusing this gun in public lobbies. The headshot nerf saw it tone down quite a bit for awhile which was awesome, just to have it be brought back and now it's abused... again.
Long story short... they're balancing based off of stats... which a lot of games do, and it always ends up being awful for literally everyone. We're still ignoring the plethora of 50+ weapons that remain useless to this day that have been available since launch.
The Cor-45 was my go to, especially with the fastest fire rate attachment. Getting accused of using a Cronus was the best lol
The Minibak also got buffed a nice amount as well damage wise, been having a lot of success with it since the buff.
I’m extremely confused by the lack of the MWII weapon balancing. The TAQ-56 needs a 4 shot kill potential, the Fennec 45 and the ISO 9mm needs a range increase and 5 shot kill potential.
The FSS Hurricane needs a 4 shot kill potential, the battle rifles need higher damages and ranges, and SP-R 208/SA-B 50 need much longer one shot kill ranges.
And the SP-X 80 needs an ADS time reduction!
After the recent nerfs to the MTZ Interceptor, aí highly recommend the Taq M. That gun is a menace if you keep your aim to center mass and heads.
i love how the spr is only half as powerful as the kar98k even though they are basically the same gun.(spr has better sights imo)

The MTZ was balanced after the nerf that reduced the neck damage, which was like the first or second nerf within the first 2 months of the game. I don't think they want people to use the gun lmao.

I think this patch kinda of sucked. Nerfing the cor 45 when most people use renetti more often than not is insane. On top of the karambit being busted as well as the mcw that should be nerfed more it is insane they did that. Sometimes it makes you wonder do the devs play their game and actually see the gameplay environment or they make changes based on stats and analytics. I play xdefiant way more than cod now so just seeing my favorite pistol get nerfed like this is beyond me.

Me and Thanks_nikita have been fighting since season 1 to get the mode back and we got the community to post and fight for it back and we got a reply from Sledgehammer to answer us and its coming in season 5 reloaded! Its in the parch notes(Due to popular demand)! The Cyber community is excited that we foght for it and it paid off! Plus we had articles made from us wanting it back
Not nerfing the JAK Backsaw Kit on the holger 556 had me almost uninstalling the whole game.

I find it bizarre that some weapons get adjusted multiple times patch after patch while other weapons (especially some mw2 weapons) are just left in the gutter.
And then, you have to ask this question: Why didn't they buff the sidewinder (ACR .450 Huntsman)? Why didn't they nerf the Rival 9 (Scorpion Evo A3) carbine barrel when going fully automatic?
They also absolutely nuked the fire rate on the JAK Gunslinger kit now, capping the fire rate down so slow to the point the kit is useless
If they wanna nerf the MTZ Interceptor so bad they should reduce its bullet velocity. I am by no means a good shot in COD when it comes to bullet drop but the interceptor has really good bullet velocity so hitting longshots (even at extreme ranges like across Popov Power) is not difficult whatsoever.

What is gained from the COR-45 Nerf? I do not believe I have ever been eliminated by someone using one in recent memory, and it is likely rare. I have used it successfully a few times but it is a safe and reliable fall-back weapon that deserves no buff or nerf.

The MTZ Interceptor is absolutely busted in the hands of a player who can consistently hit their shots. Feels impossible to outgun so I’m glad it got nerfed again

i don’t know why but i feel like the kar98 is absolutely terrible now. i keep getting upper torso hit markers, the rechambering speed is super slow, and the kar 98 scope is just completely off
i love the bal. it the first (an only) gun i got a DNA bomb with and having 60 rounds in an AR with good handling is nice. But if the BAL needed something fixed the recoil was definitely not it.

(on a (slightly) positive note, the fire rate nerf means you can snipe with it regardless of whether trigger you use, making it disgusting at long range with the lack of recoil. I found this out the hard way on a ranked warzone match, in which I somehow got a kill 165 metres away…)
The cor-45 under water was amazing almost broken that’s the only reason I see it being nerfed
8:34 id like to see the jak kit from the spam revolver on here. Ive started using it as my main pistol for the cowboy vibes. Not super practical to be fair with only 8 rounds and even with the quick reload it still takes some time compared to most and i usually primary a sniper.
The either nerfed or patched the Jak gunslinger akimbo so the fire rate is now back at 400 rpm
Why the changes are so weird:
Maybe because SBMM makes it so bad players don't interact with good ones, they don't see what gun is actually good or bad and keep using guns with bad stats, thus increasing usage and what not-stats.
The interceptor is pretty easy gun to use too in low skill lobbies where people aren’t mobile so maybe all the noobs are running it I don’t know

I can't wait to finally use the Bal more. Favorite gun by far. :3 The Cor, I just started using, it got destroyed with this patch, I need a new main gunslinger weapon that isn't the Renetti now.
Its so odd, its like they want a meta to develop or take hold in MP too, there are too many weapons in this game that feel like peashooters or don't one shot when they logically should.
Sledgehammer is definitely the worst of the CoD devs when it comes to weapon balancing. Every one of their cod games have had very poor weapon balancing.
Every update that they send out makes me enjoy the game less and less. It's to the point now that I can literally only stand playing maybe 3 or 4 match's and I'm either bored or just plain not having any fun no matter what mode I'm playing or weapon I'm using.
The KAR and Superi straight Neo dodged nerfs meanwhile the COR 45 and MTZ Interceptor got hunted down like the Jewish family in the beginning of the Inglorious Bastards 😂
Hopefully, the cor 45 nerf is paving the way for a Season 6 1911 meta.

I always see like the same 5 guns getting used in multiplayer constantly, meanwhile shg is nerfing weapons into irrelevance that people barely use anyway. This game has a heavy meta and they keep making everything else even LESS viable
