Just tried this in the rain on my A3 Quattro, MASSIVE difference! I did 30mph pulls with and without traction control and got no wheel slip! NUTS! now I just gotta make sure I turn it back down for long drives lol
Just got back from testing it. I can definitely feel the difference when taking off on a turn! I’m going to test it for a few more days and then change it back. I’m too worried on early wear on the Haldex system.
Savage Panda Projects it’s a nice difference. Like you mentioned in your video that it doesn’t cost any credits, so I’ll definitely turn it on once in a while when I feel like acting a fool 😂.

Funny I drove a big distance today and since I got it back from the shop and I able to run on all cylinders I have alot more power and tires are spinning alot.(not liking that) so going to do that first thing tomorrow. @@savagepandaprojectswell it had the water pump bad ,I got fixed. The injector was bad I changed all 4. And as for the piston rings ill get all that put in changed out I guess. He was able to fix that issue as well but now I want to just do all. I want one of those apr engines 😁
I know it's an old video , but do you remember what was the option with "reduced noise" about? Was that meaning the haldex pump is off? I want to buy a proper haldex controller from VDVeer, mainly to be able for powering off the pump on highways (less wear and fuel consumption). But that module is so expensive, almost 1k euro. If I could do it with a regular cheap OBD2 hardware and software, would be great. I have a gen4 haldex, so I am not sure if that option in OBD11 or Carista..?
It's not something you "have" to do necessarily... totally optional.. the car to me felt overall more balanced and responsive as far as the distribution of power. Especially under hard acceleration coming out of corners.

Hey bro I tried launch control on my audi a3 2015 and it's spinning the wheels badly sometimes it launches great but 90 percent of the time it burns tire also without launching it it still burns the tire any reason why it would do that ?
Had same problem with my MK7 golf R. The haldex pump was dead, so I had it replaced and everything is working again. The pump isn’t that expensive fortunately
@@menlopark4966 no there is another option, totally different, called “starting reduction vibration” which will apply brakes during a launch if the ABS detects wheel hop (vibration) and therefore will make it slower but with reduced vibration. I think there are intermediate values, not just enable/disable.
I have a B9 S4. Does anyone if this trick works on that platform or of any other tricks the OBD11 can do for it? Also, does this get you TD1 flagged? Not sure if this is changing the ECU or not.
No experience with the B9.. I can't speak on that. In my case I've already been APR tuned for years so I'm not concerned about that at this point. I don't see how they could try to deny you any warranty coverage for tweaking some simple obd11 settings... Just my 2 cents though..

@@savagepandaprojects yes cylinder number 3 bad piston rings. Was not hold pressure only that one cylinder.

Andrew OBDEleven V2 has support for iOS, but it doesn’t have all the functionality as an Android. Wish they would hurry up with the update! 😂.

No it wasn't really an issue. This was just to further enhance the responsiveness of the AWD system

Driving the car hard may reduce the life of your engine as well... But that's the risk we take to have fun in the car!
