- In 1996, Fred Goldman and Sharon Rufo, the parents of Ron Goldman, and Lou Brown, father of Nicole Brown filed a civil suit against Simpson for wrongful death. The plaintiffs were represented by Daniel Petrocelli and Simpson by Robert Baker. Presiding Judge Hiroshi Fujisaki did not allow the trial to be televised, did not sequester the jury, and prohibited the defense from alleging racism by the LAPD and from condemning the crime lab. The physical evidence did not change but additional evidence of domestic violence was presented as well as 31 pre-1994 photos of Simpson wearing Bruno Magli shoes, including one that was published 6 months before the murders, proving it could not be a forgery. Results from a polygraph test that Simpson denied taking showed "extreme deception" when he denied committing the murders. Fuhrman did not testify but Simpson did on his own behalf and lied several times.
The jury found Simpson liable for the murders and awarded the victims' families $33.5 million in compensatory and punitive damages. Simpson filed for bankruptcy afterwards and relocated to Florida to protect his pension from seizure. His remaining assets were seized and auctioned off with most being purchased by critics of the verdict of the criminal trial to help the plaintiffs recoup the costs of litigation. Simpson's Heisman Trophy was sold for $255,500 to an undisclosed buyer. All the proceeds went to the Goldman family who said they have received only 1% of the money that Simpson owes from the wrongful death suit.

What's the point of this history lesson??
I skimmed through these videos, and it further proves the media has a lot of power. Goldman and these documentary makers made it seem like OJ was nonchalant in these depositions and disrespectful and I hadn’t seen that once. He was fully engaged
some people say drugs was NOT involved but why was CONNIE DIAL she works for narcotics there that night at bundy if this was not about drugs??? she was there wtih 17 detectives most of the police where there that night. yet no one can answer that question why she was there???
I didn't know about this person being a part of the narcotics team being there that night. That's new info to me. But to answer your question, why wasn't this talked about? Because the DA was focusing too much on OJ being a "wife beater," and I honestly don't think he was physically abusive to her as a lot of reports state he was. He mentioned in a couple interviews how Nicole within a year before her death that she was hanging out with people who had connections to drug dealers, one of them being one of her close friends at the time, Faye Resnick. I believe him. The DA certainly wasn't going to paint a bad picture of Nicole. Remember they were trying to win this case for the Brown family and the Goldman's. So of course their focus was going to be all about the past DV stuff between OJ and Nicole. Or let me rephrase that to those who believe she was a saint. The DA wanted to focus on her as the innocent one, and OJ as the bad one.
@@mimiz7937 there alot of things the Defense and prosecution werent able to say otherwise they open a can of worms and everyone is guilty of something. Yes you can look up this capt connie dial she was there at bundy she worked for narcotics dept. I think the defense brought this up when talking to the police officers that were at bundy that night. the media wanted to paint a picture of ron and nicole being like you said 'saints" who did no harm or did harm. they brought up OJ past abuse with nicole because that what they wanted to paint OJ as this jealous wife beater but in reality OJ and nicole were divorced and both went on with other people. he could not have been abusive towards her in the end. in fact nicole wanted to go back to OJ she send him pictures of their wedding she wanted her family back and OJ gave her that chance but it didnt work out. towards the end OJ helped nicole out they were in good standing with each other alot of people dont know that and for the kids sake. OJ had nicole on their wedding day sign a pre nuntial so at any time nicole could have said OJ beat her but she didnt because it wasnt true. maybe in the beginning of their relatinship he was abusive but he stopped!! towards the end nicole was a different person as OJ said she got into drugs and started hanging out with faye and others that were in her circle doing drugs!!

@@mimiz7937 I agree with you exactly right!! Yes i can show you where they mention her. Her career as a commanding officer began in West Los Angeles as a patrol captain. She was there during the earthquake and was the commanding officer who responded to the Nicole Simpson/Ron Goldman homicides. She spent most of the early morning hours watching the WLA detectives do a thorough the job at the crime scene before the decision was made to give the investigation to the Robbery Homicide Division.

Michelle like Rosa were El Salvadorian, MS-13 a gang made up primarily of El Salvadorian nationals, has a large presence in the region. Michelle had a son who was "allegedly" an MS-13 member and when he found out that Nicole Brown Simpson was slapping up and beating on his mother he took his crew out there to her house and put the works on her. Ron was just collateral damage. These were the 3-4 hispanic pale males that witnesses saw arguing with them like Tom Lang and Mary Anne Gerchas and then run away into a white Ford pickup. MS-13 is particularly known for hacking and knifing people to death and they have a large affinity for knife murders.
this theory may be accurate but dont forget drugs were also involved lets not forget Mark Furhan was nicole special cop and Ron Shipp a drunk and liar also was obsesed with nicole. he was never a friend to OJ just because his brother knew OJ and ship got all excited like a little boy
And they was so good they was able to butcher 2 people and leave the scene leaving no evidence they was ever there, then the police turned up with some size 12 Bruno magli shoes and walked them through the crime scene while spilling oj’s blood and planting a glove and hat. Master criminals 🤡

The Goldman and Brown family should have been forsed to pay right away! I never understood why they didn't inforce payment for the murder! He had the money im sure! OJ got off all the way around, but he would'nt have gotten away with it when he met our Lord Jesus! 😢
Because OJ was bankrupt and they can’t touch his pension by law. OJ was clever with his assets so they couldn’t be touched.
After the murders his life was shyt, and he spent over ten years in prison 16 months in jail in LA and 9 plus years in Nevada, and he was sick for many years before he died, so the 30 years after the murder, were not happy times for him
He spent what money he had on his lawyers in the criminal trial, and still owed them money afterwards. Not a chance he had 33 million to hand over. The Goldmans have never stopped pursuing OJ’S for what he owes them. They got his memorabilia, book rights etc..and rightly so
I know ron and nicole never got that chance to be right with God. they were too much in the brentwood lifestyle but OJ got that chance to get right with God. Good people dont go to heaven only those who place their faith and trust in Jesus Christ those who are forgiven. and believe in the finish work of the Cross.

Yes several people have said nicole was abuse to them. there was a talk show and these two ladies remember a time that they saw OJ by a restuarant and asked for his autograph and OJ signs it for them and nicole happened to drive by her in ferrari and got all ballastic and started to yell at the two ladies which frighten them and OJ had to go to her car and calm her down. I have to look for that video wheni do i wll post it in here... remember she was a drug addict at this time. OJ called her mother juditha and said he remembers one time he and nicole were going to go out to eat and he notice she stared to shake and he didnt know what was going on and called her mother about it. thats what drugs will do she was either on meth or doing cocaine at this time with faye and her circle of friends. two other maids have said they seen nicole beat on OJ with a bat and one said she saw nicole throw a vase at oj but it hit the wall. that why you say NO TO DRUGS people!
OJ should have paid the last drug debt for nicole if he had, she be with us today

@@KevinShaughnessy-lf3vs Yes, i heard she had a book with names of drug connections and heidi fliess call girls names. that's the book OJ wanted notice onthe 911 tape he says something about a book and her hanging out with KEITH ZLOMOWITCH being a drug dealer!! yes i believe it was the columbian drug cartel who murdered ron and nicole not just 2 people but more than 2 were there that night at bundy!! thats why all of nicole's circle of friends were scared!! so was kato!! that is how they do murders and put your tongue out and thats how they found ron and nicole both tongues sticking out of their necks!! someone also said there a video of the murders.
