The questions she's asking Kato...I am unsure how these questions relate to the murders of Nicole and Ron. So inefficient. So much wasted time.
She was awful. Between her and Darden, they did a masterclass on how NOT to present a murder case!
I don't know how good the place was.....but $500/month is a pretty good deal in LA then. I was paying that much then for a apartment in South Carolina.

Wow! This has nothing to do with the case but, he talked about his rent being between 4- 500 a month. I had just gotten my first apartment back then. I was so excited and so young. My rent at that time for a one bedroom attic apartment with everything included except electric was $590.00! A month! Times have definitely changed in 30 years! Right now you can’t get a ONE bedroom apartment for less than $1,500.00! Absolutely RIDICULOUS!
Yup. I was pregnant with our son during the trial. I would record it every day and watch it every evening when we got home.
We had just bought our first house. A standard 3 bedroom, 1 bath home with 3 car garage. We bought it for $79k in 1995. I just looked it up and it's currently appraised at $310k. 😮

@@TheDeniseiskool Not here either. Lol. Maybe the Southern part of my state but even then it would probably be a shack. Or, like you said, a trailer. You can't rent anything here for under about $1200 month...and that would be a teeny tiny studio apt.

OJ Simpson sure is one of the most if not the most infamous case in US History. JonBenét case is right up there also.
OJ's trial was definitely the Trial of the Century in terms of popularity alone. In terms of social implications, the trial was easily top 5.
If I had to list the top 5, I'd say (in no particular order): OJ, JonBonet, Michael Jackson, Depp v. Heard, and Casey Anthony.

I was 5 or 6 but my parents had it on the news every night and them interviewing his followers on the street corner outside the court house. In this Simpson trial , at 1 point Judge Ito addresses the jury and said congratulations, you just surpassed the Manson trial of longest duration jurors serving sequestred time. That trial had its share of quirky personalities.

sabotaged Kato moving into nicole’s on purpose. Wasn’t his decision to make. Kato could have stood his ground, he owed Oj nothing, but probably felt in the middle, wanted to keep the peace etc. Nicole felt safe with kato emotionally as well as physically. Kato was non-threatening and fun to have around. Oh ruined that. Kato was a good role model even for the kids. He got along with them. Oj stole Nicole’s joy when he interfered with that whole move in thing. i don’t think he really cared about “appearance” and how it looked. The intention was to take her joy from her,

@user-qx3nt4gr3c yes. OJ was all about power, control and possession when it came to Nicole. He did not want to see her happy with anyone but him. So he did whatever he could to keep her isolated and unhappy.

We did see and hear it as it was broadcast live with no censors or edits on every channel for months
134 days of coverage, it was grueling. Kato was much-needed comic relief.
That’s what I think about the upcoming trial of BK in Idaho.

They used to make pogs in the 90’s and Kato Kaelin’s was worth some decent money at the time, not so much these days through.

I can’t understand why Nicole Brown would take a male tenant with a sideline job as nanny for her children , and even planned to take Kato in a new place at her Bundy Apt..it’s just in appropriate….and here’s OJ instead, competed and offered a free accomodation instead and Kato instead ended with him…I mean Kato would have sensed OJ didn’t like a man around his EX…as a tenant…or as a part time nanny or helper..
Nicole Brown was notorious for having platonic male friends throughout her life... Some women get along with men better than women.
If Kato had moved into the Bundy house, Nicole would still be alive.

I watched a lot of the trial with my mother. Interesting memory. She was sure he was innocent. I thought he was guilty. I may rewatch it just to see if I can be persuaded.
Word is, everyone who ONLY watched the trial and none of the bias media during this time was sure OJ was not guilty. The media painted OJ as dead to rights guilty.
He basically admitted guilt in his book
I was a teenager when the murders happened, I always thought he was guilty. He had a history of violence against Nicole. None of this was new.

He said on his most recent podcast that he smoked weed the night of the murders while he talked to a friend on the phone. Possible he took a little this day to dull nervousness.
No clue why they’re digging so deeply into the guy that was living in the guesthouse. Ask him what he saw and leave him alone. This is why people don’t offer up evidence very quickly to police.
Nicole had random men around her kids, she had no business letting Kato move in the house.
He helped take care of them. The kids liked him but can see why OJ did not approve
This video reminds me, we used to use cups and not plastic bottles. The LE screwed this case up so bad OJ walked and OJ’S helper, there is absolutely no way one person killed both people at the same time.
The guy, Kato, surely appears to be high and is good looking like an actor or model or something. He's not laid back. 😅
Didn't notice it the first time around, but clearly, Kato is high on Cocaine. Starts out being animated, but with no fix ends up coming down. What a joke this case was. No justice!

@@mbryanfCould cause a mistrial. Even for a deposition they ask the witness if they're under the influence of anything that may affect their ability to give truthful and complete answers.
