Seriously thank you so much. This really helped me. Electricity isn’t something I have any experience with, so people like you help me through “easy” projects.
Great video! I wanted to ask a question I thought this is about the smaller stove like I have it's a two-burner electric camping range. The wires came undone and I don't know where they go. Can you tell me send me a schematic help me something it's only thing I have to cook on right now at home. Thank you so much
Just make sure you don't install the clamp BACKWARDS like he did in the vid. Compare the orientation at 2:39 and 4:14. Those screws are supposed to be securing the clamp to the metal flex pipe.
Thank you for this video, very helpful. Do you remember the brand of the oven you used? It has space and a cut out in its back. That is the type we need because the old box is in the way so this one would fit perfectly, thank you.
Thank you so much for the video , I have DBL wall oven GE JT 3500 SF 5SS , recently after long 1.5 hrr for the turkey , the oven did not go up over 100 f , we just found out the junction box the connectors all burn out but breakers 2 40 amps did not trip . Out appliance repair reconnect the 4 nuts , 2 hots , 1 N 1 G , but the wires to the oven did not get changes . I suspect this is a 10 gauge but not sure , since they are smaller than the ones coming from the wall. At this time the breakers have been turned off and I am afraid to use the DBL oven, Any suggestion to replace the conduit from junction box to oven connection. All will be done by professional installation , just my idea before I call them . Thanks Sam DC
Make sure terminal connections are tight or they will form a bad connection and burn up under high load.. Always use a the proper strain protection fitting where the cord enters the appliance otherwise the sharp edged metal "will" cut into the supply cord insulation every time the appliance is moved, leading to a impressive high current short circuit behind your stove when you go to slide it out ..
The play I purchased all wires are grey ,also back of stove has 3 nuts left nit red orange purple wires middle nut 2 wht wires right nut 4 black wires off to the side 4th nut 1 wht wires ?where do my 3 grey wires go only middle wire has writing on it how do I know what wire goes left and what wire goes right ?
So I bought a new range and cord and have watched several videos and thought easy but the question I have is the wires on stove are held on with nuts and I have 4 separate nuts so do I leave those nuts on which would separate the connectors on my new power cord from the connector on the stove?
Thank you so much!!!😃 And I got a question about installing a 3 prong wire. Is there a difference between a dryer wire and a stove wire for a 3 prong? Like would it be safe?
"turn off the breaker for the range because the last thing you want is to DIE, before you get that HOT MEAL, especially if its a CLEAR SUNNY DAY" lolololololololol
Brother I Love Your your heart to help others. However I have to say that the snap- in ngle connector you used is not the right way as you used it up side down . Best of all to you an great you are trying your best.
Each heating element has two terminals: one for hot and second for neutral wire. Then how two hot wires each 120 volts are connected to the element.please clear my doubt.

bro I hear you, even though I am a pipefitter here I sit because even a plug and play electric connection leaves me lost
Thank you for your tutorial on hardwired stove. Love the humor… especially smelling the meat😂 well done…👍🏻
You're welcome! 😉😊👍
Clear instructions with no bull. Blocked up the oven perfectly. Thank you!
Thank you! This video was perfect. I just changed out a 3 prong to a 4 prong for the first time!
This was a very easy to understand video, for a DYI person I can't thank you enoug.
Glad it helped😊👍💪❤
Thank you for easy to understand.BEST on putting removed nit back on empty screw so it does not get LOST! That saves✅
Great instructions. I like your dry humor. 😂🤣😂🤣😂
Are you touching that sharpie to components to find out if something is live still? Thanks for the video man god bless
Oh man, you are my savior. Thanks a lot
Thanks man you saved me finding an electrician out!
LOL I really don’t wanna die before I get ready to eat. Thanks

Do you have a link for the electrical probe used to test the lines?

Whipple
awesome video. even had me laughing with those dad jokes
Fantastic!
Omg this was great !!! ty you so much but how did you know where the ground wire went on the new stove ?
What if the new stove is 4 prong an old stove is 3-prong how do I hook up 3-prong to a 4 prong to work in the wall
Where can I get ground wire screw from my stove didn't have it
The play I purchased all wires are grey ,also back of stove has 3 nuts left nit red orange purple wires middle nut 2 wht wires right nut 4 black wires off to the side 4th nut 1 wht wires ?where do my 3 grey wires go only middle wire has writing on it how do I know what wire goes left and what wire goes right ?
Great Video! Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Thank you for making it easy, thumbs up!
Great comments and was truly funny. Thanks

"the last thing you want is to die on a sunny day." right on, bother, I got the circuit breaker off!
I got a 3 pronge stove and a 4 pronge outlet wat do I have to do
Thank you so much!!!😃 And I got a question about installing a 3 prong wire. Is there a difference between a dryer wire and a stove wire for a 3 prong? Like would it be safe?
Amps (less amps than stoves) and the shape of receptacle and plugs different
Tires are what if the wires are not color coded that you are attaching to your stove how do you tell what is hot
this video is awesome
Thank you! I am trying this tomorrow after I watch the video several times. The electrician never showed up.
Really
I want to ir to
Is 3 prong worse than 4 prong as the 3 prong has the neutral and ground together? I just bought electric range and they gave me a 3 prong cord with it
"turn off the breaker for the range because the last thing you want is to DIE, before you get that HOT MEAL, especially if its a CLEAR SUNNY DAY" lolololololololol
Lol
Thank you so much
You're most welcome
you gave me a laugh, good video.
At 3:52, you put the connector in backward!
So why did you not remove the ground strap from the neutral wire in the 4 wire cord? Did you want to shock your customer?
Very good! Thanks!!!

Best of all to you an great you are trying your best.
Informative and funky. Love it!!
Thank you!
Yeah what he said you got to put it in and take it off put it in writing or you ain't no pleasure that woman
Nicely done thanx
You’re awesome!! 🤣
What if my burners work but the clock and oven part does not
Thanks!
"The only smell of meat..." Haha
🤣😂👍
It’s easier to just pop the clip off th a flat head .takes ten seconds and if done right won’t damage it
What if you don’t have colored wires. My wires are grey.
Each heating element has two terminals: one for hot and second for neutral wire. Then how two hot wires each 120 volts are connected to the element.please clear my doubt.

Great video but you didn't say which orientation the 3 wire go in relation to the plug. My oven cable has no colors.
If it's three wires, leave the ground connected to where it is, then it doesn't matter the orientation as long as the middle one is... in the middle.
Thank you so much 👌
Anybody else notice that at the end when he was putting the cover back on, there was no wire to the stove? Fun and informative video otherwise.
Nicely done, man!
Man .....you install the cable connector backwards ....
Did he really
Very Good!... #73 ✝ {8-20-2022}
Voltage probes dont read through bx.
Soooooo that right angle connector is installed incorrectly
Thats a lot of going ahead.
"Barbecue paper' Lol!
What are the thumbs down for?
When connecting to the new stove he used the BX connector in a way that I've never seen it done. Totally unacceptable
Upside down!
Called Jerry rigging
“The only smell of meat that we want is the one in the oven”!
That was my favorite part!!! So freaking funny!!!
Wire connector is not installed correct.
He said nuts
🤠👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👊🐯👊👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤠
Great but can live without the annoying music
To much racket and taking to long turning screws...
Try electric screwdriver. Just saying
Mine didn't come with a clamp
Great video terrible music
You said nothing about “hard wiring”!
ADS SUCK!!!!!!
Thank you for help my friend
