@@DiecastResurrection lol it was awesome enjoying your videos alot.. ;) :) =)
Thanks for watching man, slowly my true personality "which is kinda weird" will be fully introduced!
@@DiecastResurrectionthats awesome lol cant wait.. ;) =)
Those would be "American shots".
dang... nice way to kick off the channel. can't wait to see more!
Looks amazing. Maybe you could’ve shown us what chrome paint you used to touch up the engine, and a few more seconds of showing the rebuilding process after the paint, but I realize that takes away from the final reveal....but what the heck, you’re going to be crowing quite a bit if they all turn out that nice, so...
Sorry TBL I didn’t consider that, I just used a Molotow liquid chrome pen to touch it up. I guess I left that out. If you guys want to see the assembly I could show that as well. I thought there would be more shock factor if you didn’t see the paint until the end.
Wow, bro, you did a good job, that color is old school. Very good job, I like how you put a lot of enthusiasm to your restoration. Good job brother.
Thanks man!
I miss ya Austin! Hope all is well...I started watching from the beginning to the end. Along with my granddaughter, she loves them...enjoyed with me all these years. And just asked me today, to let's watch them again. 🎉😊
that rear end came out great. looks awesome, that red really belongs on that beast
That shade of red was a great way to go, really covers up the imperfections well and looks great
Beautiful red.
Beautiful work. I've been trying to come up with a new hobby now that I'm retired. This just may be it. Thank you
Get a camera and make a channel Randy! Its fun!
Beautiful Volkswagen Beetle excelent Restoration
Great paint work, the polishing really made that paint pop. Keep it up 😁
Y'know, a shot of something is WAAAY different than I remember...
Nice job on this one. I'm impressed.
Vodka for the Sub. 😂 😎🤘 Nice work. (Minus lip smacking)
Great make over on the bug.Looking forward to the next video.
I must say tho. You really lucked up with the clean base. Replacement wheels must have been super easy.
This video made me subscribe
Nice!
Good Job, Good Job!! Hermoso!!! Best regards from México!!
Nice Video I Sub to you channel
Looks awesome 👍🏼👍🏼
Awesome job. Very funny commentary.
Thanks man, I hate doing voice overs, they just aren’t in the moment and personal.
Yeah, your pretty funny man.
Hell yeah boy I love it so cool.
Interested to learn how this is holding up and if the back end started to turn again?
Looks awesome. Thanks for sharing. I love watching these restorations!
Nice work, If I did this I would be drummed out of the club. I couldn't leave those seam lines on the front fenders. They would have to be removed!
Very odd seeing the back end go like that. Looking great now
Did you know that to get the bronze color you do a base color of metallic gold, then lightly coat it with red-clear.
I did that with one of my Superfast Beetle's.
However, an outstanding restoration
Nice job
Great work on that little bug. Came out looking gorgeous! One question though, on spots where the detail is corroded away like on the Hood here, have you ever toyed with the idea of using an engraver to restore some of the lost lines and details?
Fantastic!!! I Love the Color😍😎
You're quite fun to watch. I enjoy your commentary too.
And I will never complain that someone shows too much of the restoration process.
Thanks Mickey, I try to keep it entertaining even when I'm working on something pretty boring!
This is my favorite so far. I don’t collect at all but my son and I enjoy watching you do this! Do have a question. What is the difference between Red Line and the other cars?
Hey, great videos. I just started following and love they way you seem to have so much fun doing the restorations and videos.... Keep it up!
Brilliant! Looks awesome. Great colour. Love watching your work.
Really nice! It was well preserved. It would be nicer if the Beetle, that still in line, excluding the engine, were closer to this. Much more proportional.
Damn son, you really did that car justice. excellent job! 6:51 Also, I'm a raging alcoholic so where can I meet this dream girl?
That red is on point. What a great job! Nice one.
i think that would look great just polished and clear coated
Wow, you Mr. Miyagi'd the pits off that rear. And with that red paint, she looks gorgeous!
Stop doing red snd dark pink do more bright colors like lime green, orange, purple, blue, yellow, gas green, fire orange and chocelet brown.
Wow, great video! I actually had a Volkswagen Beetle a bit like that and I gave it this treatment and it looked just as amazing!
I have a couple of these. I like that the head lights are part of the base and the body has holes for the lights to show through. Cool! Great job Mr. Diecast man.
Very nice !!
HK orange is a rare variation, should have kept to orange, looks awesome all the same
Absolutely beautiful restoration fantastic job
Very nice job. Thought that corrosion on the back was a lost cause, you really did a great job bringing out the best of that car.
Good job your a funny bloke !!!😂😂😂
beautiful job !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing job, great color.
why don't you ever paint any of your cars black i like black cars. so why don't anyone do a few black cars.
A most excellent job, looks fantastic!
Wow! That red rocks! How long did you let the paint tack up between coats?
Hi, what kind of screws are you using for to put back the base in place ? The are realy smal
Superkool Blaster Drag Bug....nice work
I didn’t notice the old wheels, until you said it. I’m very well aware you did before the final reveal
I found a huge box of disassembled hot wheels. Your video has giving me a new hobby.
Here after seeing this video on Facebook but it had an advert after 13 seconds , so here I am !!
Came out really sweet! Good work!
Would it be wrong tho remove the casting marks above the headlights ?
Nice Job!
Nice!
The two shots of vodka was a beautiful touch this is why this channel is amazing
Should have just clear coated the bare metal look. Still looks nice with the red.
great
Keep it up you do really good work
WOULD LOOK AWESOME FOR FRONT TO BE ORANGE sf, TRANSITIONING INTO THE RED sf
Wow I really like the way the body looks after u polished it. I love the beetle alot.
Another save another day,,,,, hate to see them go to waste🙏🏻😇👍🏻
Probably shouldn't be commenting.
I really don't know how i found your channel but it brings back memories of my brothers collection of hot wheels. Ive been watching your videos all weekend.
I really love the colors you are using and i have recognized many of the cars. Hope to see many moe videos:)
Many more coming! Thanks for commenting brother! Welcome 🤘
Dont mean to be that guy but that's a 57 vw. Look closer at the date on bottom. And that deck lid (engine cover in back) is long and the body line in the center is not 67. I know I'm being picky and it really doesn't matter. Just a typical vw lover spotting the details
the toy... was released in... 1967...
Tht was really funny how u added tht one clip of tht lady 😂😂
where de you get the cars from the translantion espanish geetigs
Paint is spectacular
Great job! The Custom VW was my first NEW Hot Wheels I got as a kid in 1967. So, thanks also for some great childhood memories!
I would have painted the fenders a cream white...
jaja the next time put more vodka!! jaja
I'm not sure but to protect this kind of cars against corrosion
I think a little bit of magnesium rich metal ( piece of a pencil sharpener ) attached to the chassis and the body would do the trick.
or maybe the corrosion was caused by the original metallic paint ?
A lot of these guys here say that this car was probably stored with those battery powered cars called sizzlers that were prone to acid leakage and they drip everywhere melting all the paint off the nice cars lol
I'm surprised you didn't polish out the casting marks on the front fenders.....nice job tho!
These guys would freak if I sanded those out !!
Looks good man.
I really wanna see you do a redline “sky show fleetside”
It’s Saturday here right now haha
Beautiful restoration. Great colour

Could have taken the mold lines off the front fenders
Nice.
Awesome thumbs up
Very, very nice for your first time out of the gate!
Theraputic.... another term for tedious
Hey i like my new red ass dad🤣🤣looking sweet.
The back end looks like it had barnacles!
That spectra flame red is smokin
I like that car beetle car sorry spelling
