YES - getting my MOPAR fix!! Love the gasser - you need some white paint numbers on the windows so it looks like White Rushin' is about ready to run those quick ETs!!
Hey when i was a kid , these big cars were family cars ,my friends dad had this car and gave it to him when he was 17 , and we turned it into a hot rod . We used every trick in the book to raise it off the ground , cut out sections of the exhaust pipes, put big wide tires on the back that did not fit the wheel wells . Awesome . Love the car , great work . Mike Espo..
You go girl...most ppl go for 360 or 440 my 1st car was a 64 dart with a 170/6..I swap a 73 Duster 318 when dad and I were done with it it was one quick engine
If you're seeking a source of metal for scale leaf springs, look no further than a used pair of windshield wipers. The blade inserts are typically backed by narrow strips of spring steel in various widths. They're just getting thrown out, so...free materials.
Wow what a badaas build love Gassers as well as Drag Cars. Be cool to do more drag cars, You just do an awesome job with your builds, still my favorite restore/custom guy !!!!!!!
These cars are running under the A/FX and not a gasser, lot of great cars back in the '60s. These cars were the forerunner for Funny Cars.Excellent job on the resurrection and adding the suspension.Your cars are always top notch
Excellent video, How did you do the slotted rear axle, TY, May I also ask, Where did you get your Decals, Also I would love to know where did you get the Rear wheels and tires
SWEET! I did a '57 Chevy Gasser HW about 20 years ago and thought I was the Only one to do it. This is inspiring me to get back into it. I did my Hedders outta Soldier, Brass, and Aluminum.
Looks very cool! Those Coronets actually had their wheelbases radically modified for better performance and weight distribution. That’s what happened to Landy’s Dodge, for instance.
They liked using Coronets because of that long trunk. Makes transferring the weight towards the rear easier. Sometimes they'd even move the rear wheels up towards the front further to get that weight to transfer and get better traction. Some had the tube axle mounted where the front tires were almost under the front bumper.
Really cool when I was a kid I lived in Warren Michigan on 13 Mile and my neighbor was Rodger lindemuth who used to be Color Me Gone and he used to fire his car up every night actually lived around the corner from them I used to mess with my dad my dad used to park his trucks on the side of the road when there was nobody living there and that brings back memories of hearing that altered body Mopar fire up constantly now I know Rodger isn't very bad shape the last time I saw him this you should have made it to the El Mirage to him I know that Johnny Lightning have done a car's a couple years ago about it and I actually have one of the Color Me Gone Car signed by him anyways well done
@@6bblbird104 yes he was hey still is he still living there he's very frail from what I understand we've moved away several years ago but I still keep friends in that neighborhood most of the stuff has been moved to museums and occasionally he'll run around you'll see him but lately he hasn't been out in like 2 years yes it was very interesting
Hell yeah Dude that is freaking awesome I love it,,Hell yeah make more gassers That is awesome All your cars are really freaking awesome that is absolutely fantastic I love it🇺🇲👍👍👍👍🎊🎉💪💪
Dude, when I was a kid I built a whole lot of model cars mostly from Ravell. But I never even considered restoring a matchbox or hotwheels. Very cool video.
In my mind the styrene was brilliant. Like I said I've never worked on cars that small. But if you're going to try some kind of metal I can't wait till you next video.
A 65 Coronet is one of the ultimate body styles for an AWB (altered wheelbase) dragcar. However, the AWB cars were competed in the Factory Experimental (FX) class, as this car would have been an A/FX class car. Fantastic build as always.
Looks good! Have you looked into cotter pins or even the loops on the cotter keys for metal suspension? I know they make some really small ones for RC's.
If you do a king cuda hot wheels do a redline build there’s a ton of wrecked ones around I’d use a thin tin for the leafs I think pieces of solder or wire would look better for headers
I would be more amused however this particular casting left Malaysia as a gasser in the Hot Wheels Dragstrip Demons series. It is built originally in the 1960s specifically for racing. The factory Coronet does not have such a long trunk area with the rear wheels pushed so far forward. So you nailed the work perfectly exactly as was intended when Hot Wheels paid tribute to this era of drag speed with this casting. 👍🤘
Great Gasser project, keep up the great work, by the way my first car was a 1971 Plymouth 383 Road Runner with the GTX Air Grabber Hood, I traded it in for a 1973 Plymouth 340 'cuda, boy do I wish I still had both cars now, but no fret I still have a 1972 Plymouth 340 'cuda (but she is in need of restoration)
Car looks good! I would have liked to see an epic big flake paint job, as that seems fitting for a gasser. This white also works really well though, especially with the decals
The Hot Wheels L Case has a 55 Chevy Bel Air gasser in red & white. You should get one to add to your gasser collection. There's also a 64 Nova Gasser that looks cool.
If you're wanna give one away and my doors are always open Thanks a lot you do a great job I love watching Your cars fantastic Great awesome paint jobs to,👍👍😎👊🇺🇲🇺🇲
Hey dude very cool work! In the 60's when I was a kid my uncle's friend had a similar one, was a gasser and I distinctly remember how long the back end was! Keep em coming bub... Now that's BOSS man!
Amen .. there's no car like a Mopar..I'll walk before I'll drive a bowtie...( Please forgive me and don't tell anybody but I do have a 55 Ford pickup in the driveway..only because I inherited it from Dad)
Imagine my surprise when I saw Deep Junk garage on the side of the White Rushin' along with my pal Hodge's Hotwheels ! 🤣
I'm honored ! 🍻
YES - getting my MOPAR fix!! Love the gasser - you need some white paint numbers on the windows so it looks like White Rushin' is about ready to run those quick ETs!!

Great Gasser. Ples do more. Liked hiw you made the exhaust pipes!
The Coronet was the first real altered wheelbase drag car. They were called “funny cars”. The ancestor of today’s funny car dragsters! Great job!
Love, love love it! I love Dodge, and After Funny Cars, Gassers are at the top of my list! Great job...
Very cool. Awesome jobs on the headers. Thanks for the tips!
It’s Coronet. Lol, that specific one is an altered wheel base. The trunk usually not that long. Super cool build.
I thought that wheel well looked a bit far forward. Great build!
That is one amazing custom build, the stance was everything
Love the Mopar, Building a small block in the shop right now actually.
318
You go girl...most ppl go for 360 or 440 my 1st car was a 64 dart with a 170/6..I swap a 73 Duster 318 when dad and I were done with it it was one quick engine
This channel is a ton of fun. Enjoy every episode!
Looks great!
Thin copper sheet would probably work for your leaf springs.
Sweet gasser, love the name you gave it and the decals! Those livestreams are always fun, hope you do another one soon.
That rug really tied the room together.
That's a good looking car. I want to see a truck gasser with a 56 ford.
It's really cool seeing altered wheel base being combined with gasser! Nice work!
Lovely job ! I like the way you made the manifold !
Gasser !!! Use aluminum strips for leaf spring. I had same idea with styrene.
Love this style. Very good result too. Would love to see more gassers!!!
This came out awesome, it was a nice little project. I definitely think you should do more gassers and rat rods.
dude that turned out really good I love it
Finally some love for early Coronets. I'm restoring a 66 coronet 440 now
My main man!! That looks truly truly outrageous! Bang up job Brolammadon!
Awesome AWB Gasser Ace .... just ready for the Drag Strip 👍...... BLUB BLUB B'UB BLUB BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH !
Its really cool how you do these builds
I like how you can do the small details work on the smaller car's that takes steady hands.
If you're seeking a source of metal for scale leaf springs, look no further than a used pair of windshield wipers. The blade inserts are typically backed by narrow strips of spring steel in various widths. They're just getting thrown out, so...free materials.
My fave muscle car of the Dodge/ Chrysler/ Plymouth genre would have to be the Hemi Cuda.... but a real vintage fastback! *OOOOHHHH BLUBBY!*
Can't go wrong with a Mopar..ain't no car like a Mopar 👍
Wow what a badaas build love Gassers as well as Drag Cars. Be cool to do more drag cars, You just do an awesome job with your builds, still my favorite restore/custom guy !!!!!!!
Sweet Gasser! Look up Sharon Tarshish. Really cool moving suspensions on hot wheels/matchbox cars.
Yes more Gassers please great job man love it mopar
wow! awesome headers.... thanks for the tip
These cars are running under the A/FX and not a gasser, lot of great cars back in the '60s. These cars were the forerunner for Funny Cars.Excellent job on the resurrection and adding the suspension.Your cars are always top notch
That’s a really lovely custom. Love it
Excellent video, How did you do the slotted rear axle, TY, May I also ask, Where did you get your Decals, Also I would love to know where did you get the Rear wheels and tires
Austin, another over the top build! Love the Mopar Gasser, very well done.
SWEET! I did a '57 Chevy Gasser HW about 20 years ago and thought I was the Only one to do it. This is inspiring me to get back into it. I did my Hedders outta Soldier, Brass, and Aluminum.
It came out beautiful. Good job, keep them coming.
Yes, I would like to see it. If you ever get a chance to do a 73 Gran Torino. That would be cool. Love your work.
You can do no wrong as far as I am concerned! Awesome build! Thanks for sharing!!🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Killer build! Looking forward to the next!
Great Job! Klasse Reifen, schöner Lack und ordentliche decals. Du bist für mich ein Vorbild
never been a fan of gassers, but you converted me bro! nice build!
Looks very cool! Those Coronets actually had their wheelbases radically modified for better performance and weight distribution. That’s what happened to Landy’s Dodge, for instance.
Looks sweet like the gassers.. u should do a truck somtime

Love it! But you need some track numbers in the windows. Great job!
Love the White Rushin'. Gassers are a cool looking style of drag car.
Great build man 👍🏼

Your neighbor was the late, great, Roger Lindamood? Wow!.Must have been really cool to live near him!

Admittedly, I don't get the white russian thing. Clue me in?
Maybe you can try using some Small or Medium Bobbie Pins for the Leaf Springs.
You are a frickin' magician and an amazing artist bro.
Great job! I always loved gassers. Never get tired of seeing them. Thanks!

THAT is awesome!! Now you need a 63 Nova gasser with flames and call it the Flaming Super Nova.
Looks good! Have you looked into cotter pins or even the loops on the cotter keys for metal suspension? I know they make some really small ones for RC's.
Nice Ride. The Headers are a Great touch. 👍
If you do a king cuda hot wheels do a redline build there’s a ton of wrecked ones around I’d use a thin tin for the leafs I think pieces of solder or wire would look better for headers
That's one of my favorites you've done...great job! 👍
Damn, "Jimmy's Daddy", you've knocked the last three "outta da park"!!
Back in the day, I went out with a girl name Polly Styrene

That came out perfect. If you ever do another gasser it would be cool to see something less conventional.
Car looks good! I would have liked to see an epic big flake paint job, as that seems fitting for a gasser. This white also works really well though, especially with the decals
Do the big trans am next please. I really enjoy watching the big ones being transformed.
This was a cool project, Would love to see you make another gasser.
The Hot Wheels L Case has a 55 Chevy Bel Air gasser in red & white. You should get one to add to your gasser collection. There's also a 64 Nova Gasser that looks cool.

That’s an A/FX early funny car!! Super cool build.
The dude abides, nicely put together. The back could be a bit lower, but phenomenal craftmanship..
