I'm just watching this video!, But hope the T-Rex doesn't try killing u one day of those
Hello y am espanish
He always has a laugh reflex after shooting, Imagine in a shootout, boom, boom, hahaha, boom.
Right I was thinking that to
Makes me laugh every time tho
imagine if he had a joerg Sprave laugh. or even better, had joerg with him on one of these
Or a mass shooting ahhahahahahhah
The video would've been fine if he had not laughed at every shot. That got really annoying, really quickly. 🤷
Everybody gangsta till the dinosaur starts sniping

Gives me chills seeing that gun on his channel now, after the accident
Lmao I thought about commenting that myself
im not trying to be mean or anything or mr precise but it was the ammo not the gun
@@jaidenminten2831 sure..... but the gun exploded, I guess u could say the ammo exploded buttttt, 99.9% of guns have safety features for blow back towards the shooter, this gun didnt seem to have as many, honestly he was just being a super nice guy by not saying the gun had a big part in it, go watch forgot weapons youtube he did a video on what happened and why guns explode very in depth, true it wasnt the gun, but the way that gun was built lacked major safety advancements that every beret 50 has, that every 50 has, u buy a cheap 50,( relatively cheap compared to other 50s very cheap) u get what u pay for, they had to remove alot to make it cheap. But it is what it is and the gun was rated for regular 50 ammo, but a beret 50 wont explode back in ur face like that due to all the extra safety stuff. I think I over explained the poop out of this and talked in circles for no one to read lol but there
I guess what I'm saying is the odds of his beret 50 exploding back in his face like that is almost zero compared to the cheaper 50 he was shooting, ian McMullin from forgotten weapons did a good break down on safety features of guns and this incident, he doesnt blame the gun, neither am I really but (that 50 isnt really cheap it's still 5k dollars, compared to 10 or 20k for others i looked into wanting one) but it was a freak accident, that 50 was technically fine, but if he had choose to use his other 50 his eye being smashed from endcap, and neck injury would not have happened, due to the blow back safety features and different build of other guns, ima make a prediction and say that he wont buy another 50 of that brand, and that u wont see that style 50 on demo ranch anymore, and it was 100% not the guns fault why would this prediction happen, I'm waiting to see what happens, if demo and him never use those again, And glad no one died.
I was about to comment about the ominous impending accident...

@@Shadow-ek6qbWhen is the 0.0001% chance you will see a criminal using a barret on police?
I agree. Might cause some internal organ ruptures and bleeding to occur, but other than that, still safe!
When I first saw how this shield was wielded I felt like it might be a bit unorthodox, like, you're still getting that energy transfer into your arm. But seeing as how a majority of rounds didn't even bulge the back, it actually seems pretty good.
You’re definitely right. If you watch the Shawn Ryan show he had an operator tell a story of a hostage situation he was in where the person holding the shield had their arm broken by 6 rounds that hit his shield
@@vv4ga broken arm > six rounds to your chest and face. Feel like that shouldn’t really have to be said
@@thesaucyprophesy2939 I’d take a broken arm over being shot in the face too, but that wasn’t the point of my original response. Canadian said wielding the shield was unorthodox and that you’re still getting a lot of energy transfer into your arm. I agreed with him, and gave him instances of it happening irl. Maybe they could add a lower contact point to the shield to help damped and spread the impact across a larger surface. I think adding a lip around the outside of it could help deflect bullet fragments away from the shield as well. You’d hope no one would have any body parts in front of the shield, but in a real life situation I could see how your shooting arm or your legs could be at risk to taking some spalding.
my mom used to be in the front line holding the shield she said it was pretty damn heavy put she is pretty strong and could hold the shield properly while getting shot at😵💫

I didn't discover Kentucky ballistics until after his accident but I sure am glad I found this channel. It seems like when I go back and watch some of these older videos before the accident Scott is a totally different person. He's a lot more direct to the point, not as much nonsense and joking and a lot lower energy in the older videos. I got to say, I still love the old videos but the new personality with the news got and the way the videos have evolved is a great improvement in my opinion. Scott is just one awesome dude! Fun fact - I typed this comment with voice to text and that last sentence where I put Scott is just one awesome dude The voice to text originally put "God is an awesome dude!" So even my Google voice dictation thinks that Scott is pretty freaking awesome when it replaces him with God haha!

It was a very interesting test, especially the last two magnums, I really liked them, they were great guns, thank you Scott ❤
I mean, with this shield + armor you'd be pretty darn safe. Just wish it was a little bigger to protect the entire body more evenly
I'm sure they tested it for optimal size for mobility
Yes it could be to heavy to take if it was bigger
Entire body would be heavy af boy
It's good enough to let you peek around corners safely and maybe protect enough vital area in a shootout. Any bigger and it will start to hinder mobility.
I mean, if only everyone had strong huge arms to carry the damn thing. Let alone almost 45 pounds on one hand for a shield that's 3 times bigger, its not practical at all.

UNDERWOOD AMMO
Each time he says oh, as in ohohohohoho after each shot fired.
I wonder if it would be more effective if they added a wedge on the front of it.
Like a slanted triangle front so the bullets get deflected off of it.
If so, I wonder why they didn't do that.
If the rounds deflected off to the side, it could hit a bystander or, if the wielder is working with what could be considered ‘friendly’ forces, it could end up hitting one of them, albeit with less energy than it hit the shield. Also, for a shield this size, if someone like Scott was holding it to cover his center torso, it could deflect into his shoulder or something. If designed the shield to angle downward (to deflect the bullets down), you’d run the risk of getting your toes blown off. If you angled the shield back like the upper front plate of a tank, it would ricochet up, and what goes up must come down. In theory, angling a shield is a more efficient and effective way of protecting what is behind the shield, but depending on the surroundings, it actually increases the risk of injury or death.
Edit: I think that’s how it would work. I’m not a ballistics expert by any means.
Because there's no reason to.
I think you're only considering the shield as a stationary object taking fire directly from the front. But that's not what's being done with it.
It's a shield, it can already be held and angled. The shield having a wedge doesn't change it's ballistics at all, unless you were only considering shots hitting directly on the edge, which would be a super minority
Your intros never fail to crack me up 😂😂

The size of this shield is curious to me. It got me suddenly imagining what arcient combat would look like if it were mostly the same, only with equipment made of modern materials. You know, lines of archers with reflex pulley bows, Phalanx walls of polycarbonate shields, cavalry barding made of aramid fibers, that sort of thing. Could be fascinating.
A world where only material science progressed, but innovations in war were not allowed to happen. Sounds like a high-tier anime premise that would get a trash story and no real characters.
