Memphis and the suburbs have always been bad as I've lived in Memphis for 40+ yrs. But the worst neighborhoods are Frayser, Hickory Hill ( Hickory Hood), New Chicago, North Memphis, South Memphis, West Wood, Whitehaven,Binghampton Berclair, Cordova near Cordoba high school and Berryhill as well as Orange Mound. But Cordova, Germantown and Bartlett have sceen a rise in crimes since the early 2000's.
Orange Mound is an original Black Neighborhood and was founded in 1890 and was built for black people. Most of the other neighborhoods of the black community are are former all white communities that were abandoned during the period of "white flight" beginning in the mid 1960s and the white people moved to the county to the southeast, east and also to Southaven, MS, Germantown, and Bartlett and Cordova. People with better downtowns
You can't be from here if you saying memphis a big city
@@Blak74684 😂 can’t be
Not big compared to Dallas, Houston, NYC. But to me, a rural VA native, who lived in Memphis from 97-2013, it seemed like it was. Now I see it for what some locals call it, an overgrown country town.

Memphis has a lot of churches
Gangs too
It has a lot of prostitutes, drugs, and guns too
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGSPlease don’t talk about gangs, compared to Florida where ppl call each other “jits” and where their hair in big long knots. Gang life is terrible in Florida I’ve heard. You need to stop
Memphis could get vaporized by a nuclear explosion and America would actually benefit from it. And this is coming from someone within 50 miles who would get the fallout.
That's what I was thinking. Memphis is just a shit stain that's sitting by the Mississippi River.
Don’t come to Chattanooga and bring the crime rate here
If they killed Dolph they dam sho take us out man, Memphis rough mane rough

*Death City*
Um...I just go to Germantown
Memphis is a lousy place to live and visit. Cities like St. Louis, Detroit, and Cleveland are better than Memphis.
I love Memphis not the rest of that trash state just Memphis.
Memphis (Memphganistan) is trash. The rest of the state is beautiful.
Memphis is trash. The whole state of Tennessee is trash.
This one city really drags the rest of Tennessee down. I have to wonder how much the states stats would improve if we have Memphis to Mississippi
No just Memphis by itself because Tennessee has really good places to live like Franklin and cool springs
Desoto county doesn't want it
@@johnallen4030 Exactly. Born and raised in OB and people always want to put us with Memphis. We are not leave us alone.

what's wrong with having $600 rent ... why does it matter that rents are cheaper here than many other places that think their supposed to rip off the locals with $ 1000 plus dollars rent per month
Tennessee accents are especially attractive.
