So many beautiful traditions in a Jewish Wedding Ceremony - I particularly love the idea that the Bride sits in a special place and guests (women) get an uninterrupted moment with her to give her a special blessing and tell her how much she and the groom are loved. When the Groom was coming to her to do the Veiling part, and she started crying...I was done for. Serious waterworks ensued. You could almost feel their love. I agree with others that this particular Wedding was very special in its simplicity - no "Project Runway" set ups for the Chuppah, no 15K gowns from Kleinfelds with a matching Crown. So nice ! Just tons of love and enough decor to make it special. They probably have 6 kids by now. From a 60+ Irish Catholic Grandmother from Canada - Mozeltov . Thanks for sharing this.
This was the most beautiful wedding. I'm Catholic and I always loved and respected my Jewish Brothers and Sisters. I wish you the Very best with many blessings and happiness forever. Congratulations. ~Pam
I have watched this wedding over and over, over the past couple of years and it always moves me to tears. The smiles, love and pure simcha make it the most beautiful wedding to watch. I feel like I was there myself! So inspiring, thank you for sharing your simcha with us!
Same here!! I was looking for video because I remmember the joy and simplicity of faces, true love and not just formal wedding after years of living unformal together...you can see that something NEW is beginning!!
I love this wedding. It's so beautiful. The joy is palpable. Whenever I watch it I feel as though I'm celebrating with you. יהי רצון שתזכו לבנות בית נאמן בישראל עמו''ש.
I sit and cry for the love and happiness you share. I hope by now you have many more joys since this was filmed. I am facing the end of my life here my blessings to both of you . My only wish is that I had family and friends that shared and showed the love celebrated by yours. Shalom
Is this common for Israeli Jewish to have such festive wedding that seen the involve so many friends and family singing and performing with such joy? Oh my, Emily is so beautiful! The candle light makes everything more beautiful.
just watching this video makes you happier! such a beautiful, spiritual and unpretentious wedding ceremony..wow.. i wish them a life as beautiful as their wedding was:)
How moving! and what a beautiful couple, who knew I could spend so much time watching the weddings of complete strangers! All the best you two, from North east England to where ever you are !x
I was curious about the traditional Jewish wedding and stumbled across your video. What a beautiful wedding. I can see the love and care between the groom and bride, family and friends. Blessings to you both from Wisconsin!
What a beautiful wedding and a prophetic picture since in the Scriptures Avraham(which is the groom's name) was known as the Father of Faith...he marries Emunah(the bride's name) which in Hebrew means Faith. Love it! Loved this beautiful couple and this wedding of beauty and holiness. Thank you for sharing it with us. May G-d bless you with many years of love, life and success! Mazel Tov!
I'm pretty sure the song "Shiru Lo" and the second song (and my favorite) "Ani Lidodi" are by C. Lanzbom and Noah Solomon. I'm getting married in August on Rosh Chodesh Elul and will be walking down to "Ani Lidodi," the song for Elul :)
Kolika radost kad se dvoje mladih spajaju u brak, a ne u farsu nakon par godina zajedničkog "života".. Posvuda odsjeva ta radost u ovom vjenčanju! Božji blagoslov!
I only wonder why folks referred to them as Alex & Emily when the text reads Avraham & Emunah? Very beautiful real emotion. May your marriage always be magical. Good health & long happy lives.
Many more modern Jews from the US have an English first name and usually have a Hebrew equivalent for it that is used as their name in religious context. Some also choose a Hebrew name for themselves when they migrate to Israel. Note how their Hebrew names are similar to their English ones, so I suspect either scenario to be the case here.
Wish you so much mazal-Wishing every single person the same happiness .-im watching tears streaming down my face.Wishing hoping that Hashem blesses you with a wonderful life togrether.Hopefully one day soon I could be celebrating
mazal tov!!! magical wedding!! looks amaizing and intrestig couple.. wish you guys a lot of happy and love! can you, or someone alse, tell me how ars the singers and how are the artists in the video? thanks... and MAZAL TOV again :)
~שִׁירוּ לו זַמְּרוּ לו. שיחוּ בְּכָל נִפְלְאותָיו~Psalm 105 Sing to Him, chant praises to Him, speak of all His wonders. ~אני לדודי ודודי לי הרועה בשושנים~ שיר השירים My beloved is mine, and I am his, who grazes among the roses~song of songs These are the beautiful words of the holy texts. May you build a bayit neeman be Israel, a true Jewish home!
Hi Daria, Thank you for responding to my question. Yes, I'm aware that there are yeshivas in Israel at different levels for people to study, but I was hoping that someone knows these people and would give me more specific information. The wedding was absolutely beautiful and I sensed that the groom had been through a lot and as you noted, some of the family members were not religious and he became religious on his own. But it was nice of you to respond and I wish you mazal.
Guys and their wifes on the wedding movie are religios sionists (kipot srugot), They are all really nice people, so if your son could study for a while, maybe a semester in such yeshiva, he will definitly find many friends and kontakts. He have only choose one of the yeshivas which is comfortable for him. Just try)) PS Sorry for my english, i'd rather speek german-
Traditional, Jewish women wore their wedding rings on their right index finger. But since the prevailing custom in most of the world today is to wear it on the ring finger, Jewish brides switch the ring to the ring finger after the ceremony.
This was the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen. So minimalistic yet so much love. That's coming from a Muslim. Blessings to all.

Yes, is best to reverence God. And put Him 1st, even in a wedding.
You are adorable :-)
